I am a night owl. Nothing against mornings but they rarely fit into my life.

Evenings. I like having more daylight in the evenings than I do in the mornings.

Most of my actual work day occurs between 6am-9am. I get more work done in those 3 hours than I do from 9-5. Sending/answering emails, solving problems, beginning new projects etc all that comes first thing in the AM. Then I just cruise through the rest of the day as replies float in. I like my evenings to be extra chill and relaxing once the kiddos are all settled into their rooms. So a little bit of both, but I’m absolutely 100 times more productive in the AM.

One of my best buddies has been starting work at midnight from home (he lives in MI) selling mortgages that way for over 20 years now. He waits until everybody leaves the office and/or logs off, then logs on, grabbing every west coast call that comes in. His entire pipeline are clients from CA and other WC states. All huge loan amounts. I’ve done it, but not full-time every night for years like that. He’s a phenom.

Evenings. I like having more daylight in the evenings than I do in the mornings. If this is a daylights savings thing, I like gaining the hour and waking up w the sun much better. Nothing like waking up at 6 and it’s pitch black no different than waking up at 2 or 3.

Evenings. I like having more daylight in the evenings than I do in the mornings. If this is a daylights savings thing, I like gaining the hour and waking up w the sun much better. Nothing like waking up at 6 and it’s pitch black no different than waking up at 2 or 3. Since, I have had a retina tear and detachment in the left eye. Having more daylight in the evening means I can stay out more at night and still drive. The bright lights from cars hurts my eyes more now. That's the main reason why I prefer the evenings.
