definitely Chikara's peak at that point. There has definitely been a lot of CHIKARA influence in my writing. Especially FTR. I loved masked wrestlers. I love when a fed feels like a circus. Big guys, small guys, serious guys, comedy characters, women wrestlers, wrestlers like Crust etc…singles, tag teams, trios, tournaments etc..just loved everything about that time period. Seemed to have it all. Funny you mention this. I've echoed these comments about both FTR and CHIKARA - I think even in this episode. The depth and variety it affords storytelling and match building - not to mention just being fun - makes for fantastic feds and memorable times. It's like Shakespeare - even his darkest plays have bits of comedy and vice versa. Good stuff.

Actually interested in this Chikara pack ... i kind of like the idea of mixing with the 80s mania set for a fed.

It was definitely because of my assignment locations during the time of CHIKARA's high point that I never actually saw any of their shows.
I am still not one to watch much internet-based stuff (of any genre) and that would have been the only way for me to see CHIKARA.
Someday...someday, I will get on the ball an go watch it...

Love the retrospective through the sets w/ notes and anecdotes. Have you guys thought of doing something similar w/ the Indy team and going through the ROH sets?
