I can't remember what Chad said word for word, but in a nutshell he said we got this guy signed to go along with this guy who was already in the game. So.... I'm pretty sure it's a tag team tonight and I'm hoping it's the FABULOUS ONES!
Great show as always fellas.

Great episode. Fun interview! Rampage sounds fun, too bad I never got to try it out. Have a great thanksgiving!

Rampage is a game I missed out on as well, which is a shame. Thousands of wrestlers, and the ability to make edits to their ratings? I mean, what's not to like?! It was the standard for many years in terms of wrestling games (with Superstar Pro, which preceded it, a close 2nd).
Really enjoyed talking with Dale, he was great!

Great episode! I really liked that Biggest Loser tournament idea Dale mentioned. I have to run some of those for laughs.

We've played a few biggest loser tournaments at GCon over the years--some with bums like Pollux and the manager cards, and at least one with top guys like Paragon and Thantos. Played a lot of Rampage in the mid-'90s as well, and like Mr. Spear it immediately made me want to research all these guys I'd never heard of. I was particularly drawn to Rampage having the ancient Greek pankrationist, Milo of Croton--I ended up booking him a lot. John J. Dewey's Biographical Dictionary of Wrestling, which was included in some of the expansion Rampage sets as Tim mentioned. As someone who's really plumbed the far-flung corners of wrestling history, I have to say I have no earthly idea where he found some of these folks, like in the Women's section having various "competitors on the European burlesque circuit c. 1970." This was also the first document where I learned about the wacky gimmicks from Titanes del Ring--again, in the mid 1990's Web 1.0 world I have no idea where he found out about this stuff. Even if there are inaccuracies it's still pretty fascinating to go through.

I played and enjoyed Rampage as well. Wish something like it was still around.

If you go to the facebook group "Lance Haffner Sports Sims", you can request a link to be able to download it and several additional wrestlers.

Fantastic episode. I really loved hearing from Dale, and the joy and interest from all over Rampage made me want to track it down myself. I hope you guys do have Dale on again - would love to hear more from him.
