Ric McCord used a FLYING BODY PRESS to beat Frogman LeBlanc. ★
Koko Ware used a power slam to beat Dr. Bill Irwin in a Grudge Match. These two are still at each other’s throats with no end in sight to this feud. ★★
Ricky Morton beat Jackie Fargo in a brutal First Blood Match. ★★★★
In the Main Event, Bobby Eaton (w/ Jimmy Hart) got a countout victory over Tommy Rich in a match for the Southern Heavyweight Championship after a cross body block to the floor. ★★

This Memphis fed has been so fun to play out. Watching Memphis episodes on YouTube every night certainly helps with ideas. Glad you’re enjoying it. |

MCW Card 23 from Louisville Gardens, Louisville, KY!
In his Memphis Wrestling debut, Sputnik Monroe used the NECKBREAKER to put away Ric McCord. This match was a marathon and Ric McCord was close to winning several times. Not the dominant debut Monroe was looking for, to be sure. ★★★
Superstar Bill Dundee crushed Frogman LeBlanc with the SUPERSTAR BOMB in a lightning quick match. Impressive seeing as Dundee was wrestling injured as well. SQUASH
Austin Idol used the LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK to make Dutch Mantell submit in a fantastic match that had the crowd on their feet! Idol is, no doubt, in line for a title shot soon. ★★
In an incredibly bloody and violent Steel Cage Match, Koko Ware used a MISSLE DROPKICK to send Dr. Bill Irwin flying against the side of the cage and knock him out to escape. After the match, Ware returned into the cage with a chain and beat Irwin again until several wrestlers came out to stop him. Irwin was stretchered out of the ringside area, injured for 5 cards. ★★★

MCW Card 24 from Tupelo Sports Arena, Tupelo, MS.
In our opener, Randy Rose picked up a DQ victory over Ric McCord when the action spilled out of the ring and McCord smashed Rose with a chair in front of the ref. DUD
Sputnik Monroe leveled Frogman LeBlanc with a NECKBREAKER. Monroe still having trouble getting a victory but this match was shorter than his last one. ★
In the Main Event, Austin Idol won via DQ over Dutch Mantell when the ref saw Mantell smash Idol with Shoo-Baby. Great match until the DQ finish! Idol keeps his win streak intact. This feud continues! ★★★

MCW Card 25 from Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, TN.
Sputnik Monroe used a devastating piledriver to beat Superstar Bill Dundee in dominating fashion in the opener. ★★★
Ric McCord picked up a DQ win over Randy Rose in a Grudge Match when Rose slammed McCord on the announcer table in front of Lance Russell. After the bell, the two of them brawled to the back. This feud ain’t over yet. ★★
Austin Idol beat Dutch Mantell in a bloody Dog Collar Match when he trapped Mantell in the LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK and wrapped the chain around his neck. Idol is still undefeated in Memphis Championship Wrestling. ★★
In the Main Event, Bobby Eaton won the Southern Heavyweight Championship from Tommy Rich in two straight falls in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match with Texas Death Match rules. Rich put up little no no offense in this match! Many fans thought Jimmy Hart would be a factor but Hart just sat at ringside and watched Eaton dismantle Rich. The fans were not happy. ★★★
Order of Falls:
- Bobby Eaton defeated Tommy Rich with the ALABAMA JAM.
- Bobby Eaton defeated Tommy Rich with Divorce Court.

MCW 26 from WMC-TV Studios, Memphis, TN
Dutch Mantell made incredibly short work of Frogman LeBlanc, locking him in the DOUBLE DUTCH CLUTCH. SQUASH
Handsome Jimmy Valiant got a big win over Sputnik Monroe after rolling through a cross body block. This one was hard hitting and the fans were into it. Monroe’s win streak is over and he’s not happy. These two will clash again soon. ★★★
Dennis Condrey used his FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP to beat Ricky Morton in a quick match. SQUASH
Lance Russell brought out new Southern Heavyweight Champion Bobby Eaton along with Jimmy Hart. Eaton celebrated his win over Tommy Rich on MCW 25 saying everyone doubted he could do it but he proved them wrong. Tommy Rich came out and asked for a rematch for the Southern Heavyweight Championship. Bobby Eaton said he’d give Rich one more chance but he wanted it to be decisive so it’d be in a Steel Cage. Rich agreed and the match wil happen on the next card.
Randy Rose used a piledriver on the arena floor to get a countout victory over Ric McCord in a Grudge Match. This feud continues to rage. These two hate each other. ★★
