Rey Horus was announced for BOLA.
These are just guesses on my part but if it is a 16 man tournament as it appears to be then my guess for the final two is Demonic Flamita and Dragon Lee or possibly Tony Deppen.
I am also guessing that Brody King and Malakai Black will defend the PWG World Tag Team Championship in a non-tournament match (perhaps against Myron Reed and Trey Miguel or perhaps against Alex Zayne and Blake Christian who have both been at PWG in the past and who are challenging the Briscoes for the GCW Tag Team Championship soon.)
BOLA 2022 entrants 1. Jonah Rock 2. Alex Shelley 3. Kevin Blackwood 4. Lio Rush 5. Black Taurus 6. Daniel Garcia 7. Jack Cartwheel 8. Bandido 9. Lee Moriarty 10. Davey Richards 11. Aramis 12. Jonathan Gresham 13. JD Drake 14. Rey Horus

BOLA 2014 was my background entertainment for Christmas wrapping this year.
Always cool to see how BOLA turns into this time capsule for what was hot in Indy Wrestling and it looks like this year is no different

I wonder if Johnny Gargano, who has wrestled for PWG in the past, could actually be a possibility for BOLA?

He's going to be dad in a month or so. My guess is he plans on being away for a bit, as this is his first kid. I would doubt he'd be taking any bookings?

for the 15th and 16th participants in BOLA, PWG announced two wrestlers they have not recently been using in Phillip Five Skulls and Buddy Matthews
PWG also officially confirmed, as expected given the two-day format of this year's BOLA, that it is a 16 man tournament

At any rate, PWG has now announced the final two BOLA participants and (unless it turns out that Gargano is Phillip Five Skulls) Gargano won't be there.

I honestly do not know who Phillip Five Skulls is but if he is indeed from Dayton then Chris Hero- who once held the longest reign as PWG World Champion- could be a possibility.

I am worried BOLA might not happen as there are alot of show cancellations right now in California.
In California, PCW, Raise the Bar, Santino Bros, VWE, and Level Up have all cancelled events due to COVID-19.
It also looks like the XPW show that was scheduled in California for this month is not happening either.
There is even talk of moving the Super Bowl out of Los Angeles and to Texas (although I would be surprised if that happens.)
Pandemic forcing postponement of several SoCal pro-wrestling events
Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Southern California, a number of upcoming pro-wrestling events have been postponed, with three events announcing postponements today alone.
PCW Ultra, which was scheduled to hold their anniversary event A2K22 on January 28 in Wilmington, was the first promotion to announce their show would not be going on as planned. On December 30, 2021, the promotion refunded all tickets purchased for the event and posted a note on social media announcing the cancellation was due to the venue closing until June because of the spike in COVID-19.
On January 4, Raise the Bar announced that their January 13 event at the Glasshouse in Pomona would be pushed back until spring due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County.
Today Santino Bros., VWE, and Level Up Pro Wrestling all announced cancellations of their events that were scheduled to take place this weekend. Santino Bros. was scheduled to run in Cudahy, VWE in Orange County, and Level Up in La Mesa. All three announced they were putting the safety of their wrestlers and fans first in their postponement announcements.
Santino Bros. and PCW Ultra were the first promotions to announce postponements when the pandemic began in March 2020 as well.
Level Up has had the strictest COVID-19 protocols of any local promotion during the pandemic, running all events outdoors with temperature checks, socially distanced seating, and taking fans’ info for contact tracing. They are also the only promotion not in the greater Los Angeles area to announce any postponement so far. This weekend’s MPW, FIST Combat, and LA Fights shows are still scheduled to run at press time.
The current spike in cases is being fueled by the more contagious omicron variant. Yesterday, Los Angeles County announced that there were 37,215 new COVID-19 cases in the county, a single-day record since the beginning of the pandemic. That record was broken today with 43,712 new cases.
There were 19,719 new COVID-19 cases reported in Los Angeles County on January 7, 2021. Hospitalizations and deaths remain well off of their peaks still, with 2,902 hospitalizations reported today in Los Angeles County compared to 8,098 on this day last year and 28 deaths compared to 218 last year.
