Shoutout to Uncharted Territories "ROH Memories" episode for giving me a serious bug to see a rasslin show in person! I've never had much luck finding a show running in my area so I felt incredibly lucky when NGW TN made a reddit post in r/Virginia advertising that they would be doing a show relatively close by and they were coming with talent that I'd been following for over a decade, a good chunk of which even had in-game cards. A cameraman working the show even had a Moondogs shirt so it must have been meant to be.

(This was then balanced out by completely missing the chance to be at Hangman Adam Page's inaugural episode in Norfolk.)

Super fun night at the matches, not a bad 2 hrs if you have a Highspots Subscription (but I mean come on man you should have one anyway). All in all its a good slice of the non-Death Match side of the Indy circuit circa 2021. 

Random Thoughts and Takeaways

-Moose was the first person I saw walking into the venue and in-person that dude may as well be 8 ft tall

-JTG looks like he has been eating wheaties and whey protein since WWE and if the NWA fans can forget about Cryme Tyme I could see him having a Shelton Benjamin NJPW run for them

-Kaden Sade is the local talent to watch out for with the line of the night "these ropes jiggle almost as much as the fans here"
 


I'm 4 cards (Cross/Lamar/Suge D & ManScout) short of replaying the card with the Indies line but barring some angel investors I'll probably just proxy around it with similar talent. Thanks for reading!
