Just a short question: Would you see him in his Prime during his Memphis Time or later on? His Card from the Color Starter Set is his Career Prime for me.

Later....you could always run his original color card for a slightly downgraded Savage for Memphis.

Once Randy locked in the Macho Man persona his wrestling style didn't change much at all. Even though his pinnacle is obviously later there would not be much need for changes on the card back. A pre-WWF Randy Savage card would basically only need new card art and MAYBE some small adjustments on charts and defense. That said, a wild Randy Savage ICW or Memphis drawing would be worth the price of the card easily.

Savage is one of the few in history that could be in someone’s list of top 10 good guys AND bad guys (Hogan and Lawler are a couple of others), so he fits either way

Savage was an accomplished veteran by the time he debuted in the WWF. He was a world title claimant, albeit of a small time promotion. I like the idea of using the stats from his original color card to represent him in Memphis even though the card front depicts him later in his career.

I still think he could be one of the last two Cards of the Main Set

While I wouldn't turn a Memphis based Randy Savage card away, I sort of hope for other things. We've got 3 or 4 Savage cards already.

With no Hogan (and no complaints on it), Savage is the top face in my WWF fed.

In all honesty, I always like Savage as a heel...it just didn't feel right with him being a face...not sure why though.
