In 2021 Mick McGinty passed away from cancer. He was a prolific artist and you have seen many many pieces of his art through out your life. He did the art for Street Fighter, Movie art for Godzilla vs King Kong, Back to the future and thousands of others. My buddy goes to his sons church and they passed out photos of his art work for anyone to take home. He gave me this piece. I thought it would be awesome to make a Christmas bootleg in honor of the man's art. OLD MAN SANTA
It has been a century since anyone had seen Santa and his nine mighty reindeer. Due to nagging injuries in the ring Santa Claus had to retire to the North Pole on earth. No one was able to locate him, many thought him long dead. Today Santa, comes back to town.
Blackthorne the Anti-Santa has been making GORE (Gladiators of Rigel Entertainment) into a horror show. Having held the GORE Championship for over a year and responsible for three major injuries to his opponents. GORE leadership put out the call, will anyone stop this madman. No one responded....until now, December 24th 2138 - Rigel. Blackthorne had just defeated Goredog and was going to shave the Animen bald. Defying anyone to stop him, Blackthorne and his cronies, Pumpkinhead and Halloween Machine held the Animen up and was about to begin the shaving, when the arena was blinded by a brilliant white light, everyone, people at home watching and even Zero the Heavy G king. When everyone had wiped their eyes and began to see again, Santa Claus. The Man, The Myth the Legend stood in the ring with Reptillo the Red nosed Reindeer. He was older, but gone was the huge belly, he looked ripped, and ready to go for a ancient being. He looked around at the stunned crowd and then winked at the camera. The crowd went wild, Old Man Santa pointed at Blackthorne and without a mic, could be heard through out the arena.
"HO HO HONO you don't."
Old Man Santa and Reptillo attacked the three members of Seasons Beatings, driving them from the ring. Blackthorne was crazy with anger but wouldn't jump back into the ring.
"Your reign of terror is over Blackthorne, Christmas eve, you and me, one on one in the Five Matches of Death, with the added stipulation that the loser leaves GORE forever."
Blackthorne smiled his spiked tooth grin. "Ok Old Man, I agree. It will be good to get rid of Christmas as your holiday once and for all." Just then Jack Frost and Mutant Elf attack Blackthorne and his cronies. Old Man Santa jumps up to the top turnbuckle, yelled "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" and dived into the bodies below. Bedlam ensues as the screen fades to black.
