Gladiator Factory Card 12
This card features the second quarter of all the first round matches in the major tournaments.
Crash d. Sorrow (1) via Pinfall (BRAIN SMASHER) .5*
It was a back and forth match that was mostly mellow, with a few moments of both wrestlers hitting big moves. Crash was able to take advantage of Sorrow’s mellow nature and lock in a triangle choke before landing a Deathjump and the BRAIN SMASHER to win the match.
Incredible Bulk d. 34118 via Pinfall (INCREDIBLE POWERSLAM) DUD
This was a quick match that saw 34118 in control early, but the Incredible Bulk showed his might and fought back, throwing 34118 into the ropes and hitting a huge clothesline that sent 34118 for a loop. A Superkick, Deathjump, and INCREDIBLE POWERSLAM later, and 34118 was out for the count.
Maim (1) & War Machine (3) d. Devium (1) & Blitz (1) via Pinfall (BREAKDOWN) 1.5*
It was an insane back and forth match with Blitz getting some big damage onto War Machine when Blitz got tagged in. The son of Vanguard constantly went for a COSMIC CHAIN OF EVENTS, nearly putting War Machine and Maim down multiple times. However, when he suffered some damage himself, he tagged in Devium who couldn’t capitalize on the offense. Maim was able to fight back against Devium and tag in War Machine, who tagged Maim back in and the two proceeded to hit the BREAKDOWN to win the match.
Violence & Riot (2) d. Calm (5) & Serenity via Pinfall (FORCED OBEDIENCE) 1.75*
It was a back and forth match between both sides, with Calm hitting THE CALM onto Riot at one point. This, however, was in vain as Violence and Riot isolated Calm from Serenity. They hit multiple TURNBUCKLE BOMBs and ended it with the FORCED OBEDIENCE from Violence, who pinned Calm to the mat despite Serenity’s best efforts.
Wicked (1) d. Aftershock (6) via Pinfall (SOUL CLEAVER) 3.5*
It was a brutal match for Aftershock, as Wicked constantly put Aftershock into the corner with the Eye Cleaver, causing some serious damage to Aftershock. While Aftershock fought valiantly despite the setbacks, Wicked was simply too much and a final SOUL CLEAVER put Aftershock out of his misery.
Saki “The Death King” d. Torment (1) via Pinfall (1,000 FALLIN SKIES) .5* SQUASH
Saki countered a head into the buckle attempt into a 1,000 Knives Submission followed by the Scorpion Death Lock to force Torment to grab the ropes. Saki would capitalize and hit the 1,000 FALLING SKIES to pin Torment and win the match.
Devastator (AAW Proving) (1) & Maul d. Deadlift & Rage (1) via Pinfall (GREETINGS FROM AETHRA) .5*
The match was pretty isolated with Deadlift and Devastator doing most of the heavy lifting. Deadlift eventually tagged in Rage, who lost a brawl outside the ring. Devastator tagged in Maul who proceeded to hit the GREETINGS FROM AETHRA to win the match.
Aethran Nation (Maul (ICOF) (2) & Breaker (2)) d. Aethran Slave Drivers (Cudgel (1) & Moil (5)) via Pinfall (AETHRAN DRIVER) 2.5*
It was an intense back and forth match between both teams as they gave everything they could into winning the match. The Slave Drivers constantly went for tag team moves while Maul and Breaker used hardcore violence to their advantage. Both teams fought valiantly against each other, but while Moil was taking damage, Cudgel had to come in. From there, he made a mistake allowing Maul to escape to the outside. Maul capitalized and eventually hit the AETHRAN DRIVER to win the match, despite Mobil’s best efforts to make the save.
