Just me ? or that much wrestling on this weekend I am lost in it all . Who and where ? There were over 30 shows in the Dallas area this weekend. In addition to WWE, ROH, MLW, there were the 12 shows at GCW’s Collective, the double digit number of shows at Texasmania (basically a Collective of Texas area feds,) the Wrestlecon shows, and many other smaller shows some run by outside promoters running the area just for the weekend. For example, Super Beast is a local promoter and wrestler here in Las Vegas and he teamed up with another promoter to run a show in Dallas this weekend. In addition to those shows, there are also many podcasts fans can attend, about 200 wrestlers (many of them Legends but I did not attend as I am more into the live shows and none of the shows I attended were Wrestlecon shows) who you can meet at Wrestlecon, etc. Mania Weekend is a lot of fun! I plan to go next year when Mania Weekend is in Los Angeles.

Good luck, Zeke. Shame about the flight. I got a new flight but the catch was I had to leave immediately. Currently at the gate now waiting to board my flight to Las Vegas but I did not sleep last night, hopefully I can sleep on the plane.

August 9th, 1999, Chris Jericho debuted in the WWF. Single greatest entrance in history.
Until last night.

Other than almost getting stranded in Texas with a canceled flight (I had to buy a new flight with my PayPal Credit account to get back to Las Vegas,) Mania Weekend 2022 was so much fun!
Mania Weekend is exhausting as I stayed out until almost 4 AM every night and then woke up a few hours later to do my daily fed results and then go to 3 or 4 more shows (11 shows total.) And I mostly only ate venue food (hot dogs, nachos, Bud Light) for 3 or 4 days, but the chicken sandwich I had at AT&T Stadium was awesome.
I would characterize the signings I made in Dallas as more quality over quantity as I wanted to make more signings than I did (at these Mania Weekend shows you constantly see wrestlers leaving early with roller bags to get to their next booking.) Nevertheless, some outstanding names signed the game's release form (both the standard English release form and the Spanish release form) this past weekend. Once the signed names are announced, I think they will be well received as there are some great names coming to the game!
I had only been to 7 shows this year prior to Mania Weekend, but now I have been to 18 shows in 2022. The next shows I am going to are GCW this weekend in Los Angeles (Saturday) and in San Francisco (Sunday.)
