FORREST GUMP' ACTOR BOB PENNY DEAD AT 87 Penny was a bit part actor in dozens of films and TV shows during his long career stretching back to the '80s. Some of his movie credits include, “Mississippi Burning,” “My Cousin Vinny” and “The Legend of Bagger Vance." He played a “crony” in “Forrest Gump,” and a bumbling, small-town lawyer in “Sweet Home Alabama." He also landed a role in the TV series “In the Heat of the Night.” He began his acting career doing TV commercials for a local department store and ad campaigns for The United Way.

Youtube star Keenan Cahill has tragically passed away aged 27 The internet personality from Chicago, Illinois, made a name for himself lip-syncing to popular songs on the video-sharing platform. He first rose to fame back in 2010 with his rendition of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream', which currently has a whopping 58 million views. Cahill went on to collaborate with a whole host of famous celebrities as guest artists on his channel, including but not limited to: Jennifer Aniston, 50 Cent, Tinie Tempah, Maroon 5, The Wanted, Justin Bieber and, of course, Katy Perry. The 27-year-old had Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome, a progressive condition that causes many tissues and organs to enlarge, become inflamed or scarred and eventually deteriorate. He underwent a number of treatments after being diagnosed at the age of one, including a bone marrow transplant in 1997 and a surgery to relieve intracranial tension. Earlier this month, he took to Instagram to explain to his followers that he would be undergoing open heart surgery on December 15.

Barbara Walters, the trailblazing television news broadcaster and longtime ABC News anchor and correspondent who shattered the glass ceiling and became a dominant force in an industry once dominated by men, has died. She was 93. Walters joined ABC News in 1976, becoming the first female anchor on an evening news program. Three years later, she became a co-host of "20/20," and in 1997, she launched "The View." In a career that spanned five decades, Walters won 12 Emmy awards, 11 of those while at ABC News. She made her final appearance as a co-host of "The View" in 2014, but remained an executive producer of the show and continued to do some interviews and specials for ABC News.
