Hi, not sure if anyone knows, but is there a special reason Sabu doesn't have a color update yet? Seems obvious inclusion unless there's something preventing it.

My recollection, and someone is free to correct/clarify, is that the Sabu card was done as a verbal contract because that's how Sabu did business, at least then. So the belief is that we were limited to one card for him and Sheik unless/until things change.

Tom and Sabu have met since then and had a match or 2 so maybe they talked about it again so we will see

It makes sense that would be the deal with someone like Sabu but I also don't think it would/should be an issue to make another card. I just thought of him because there's so many ECW guys and it would be cool to have him in color, multiple different looks you can go with.

Best way to prevent being sued is to have a written contract. I'm sure Sabu will turn up sooner rather than later.

And honestly, a lot of the authorization stuff isn't 100% accurate. Unless you are on the Legends Team or work specifically with/for FedHQ, there's not way to be certain about the authorizations.

I've updated the main list, clearing out the "pending release" section as they are now in player's hands.
Looking at the list, we cleared out a lot this year. Seven names remain from those listed on the podcast in January as the LOW teams personal wish list for colorization: Sheik Fred Blassie Fred Curry The Tolos Brothers The Mongols PN News Jonnie Stewart
We think we know the issue with Sheik, and there were rumors around Blassie and the Tolos brothers (If I remember right the rumor was the agreement for them was through a third party and is no longer valid? Or am I confusing myself?) The Mongols feel like a really good candidate for a 2024 Prime release, similar to the Samoans this year. Stewart would make a great con exclusive name. News and Curry could also slot into Prime, if they don't fit any of the main set themes for 2024.

We'll see if Blassie and the Tolos Brothers will appear soon or not. Curry, News, Stewart and the Mongols I feel will all get releases next year. Already have plans for News and The Mongols when they do.

He's not on the list but wasn't TIMBER a 'Legends' B&W card, same as SAVAGE T correct?

He's not on the list but wasn't TIMBER a 'Legends' B&W card, same as SAVAGE T correct? I believe both were labeled as Legends cards since the Legends of The Future name hadn't been made at that time. I believe "Bloody" Harker Dirge and The Belgian Brawler also were labeled similarly. I definitely want a colorized Harker Dirge!
