We can’t be stopped, baby! Scotty Riggs: We’re among the top contenders for those NWA Tag Team titles and coming up in a few weeks we’re getting a shot at those National Tag Team titles. TS: Well, Jim Cornette and his Midnight Express have been on quite a roll defending the National Tag Team titles. MB: Don’t forget those six man titles Scotty. I’d love to be the ones who got those titles away from Ivan Koloff and the Powers of Pain. Whether we get Patriot or Scorpio on our side for it doesn’t matter. SR: Absolutely brother, We’re going to rise to the very top!

Sam Menacker: What a fantastic start to tonight’s show and we still have two great matches to go including the United States Tag Team Champions, the Valiant Brothers defending their titles. But first let's bring out Wild Red Berry and his mountain of a man Gorilla Monsoon. Wild Red Berry: Gorilla Monsoon is growing impatient. The Crusher is afraid of him. Rock Riddle gets a second title shot in a few weeks, yet Gorilla hasn’t received a first title shot. Gorilla has embarrassed everyone put in front of him and the Crusher will be no exception. Just one shot is all we ask and that title will be where it belongs! SM: Monsoon has been very impressive and with your Kangaroos already the International Tag team champions, adding the United States title to your stable would put you out front in the manager of the year race. WRB: Absolutely Mr Menacker. And don’t forget that I’m looking to win the Junior Heavyweight championship as well. SM: As much as I hate to admit it, you are quite a formidable challenger for that title.

Scouting Report with Bill Apter Bill Apter: Tonight we’re going to cover what has become a ferocious feud here in the central states. Of course we are talking about Big Bully Busick with his manager Tom Filsinger and their feud with Abraham Lincoln. Last month their match ended in a disqualification because of Filsinger’s interference and we also heard some angry interviews from both sides. I hope this time Filsinger minds his own business and stays out of the action and lets these two gentlemen settle things in the ring. It should be a close matchup but I’m looking for Mr Lincoln to prevail in tonight's main event.

George “the Animal” Steele w/Capt. Lou Albano squashed Johnny Rodz
Piper’s Pit Roddy Piper: Well that sure was an impressive victory for George Steele, I wonder if he’ll be able to do that next month at Wrestlemania when he challenges for the World Championship against my guest right now, Bob Backlund. Mr Backlund do you think you’ll be able to avoid the flying hammerlock of the Animal? Bob Backlund: Mr Piper, do you think George Steele can name each of the presidents in order? RP: To be honest, I don’t think he can say the alphabet in order. BB: I don’t believe a man like that is capable of being world champion. RP: I don’t necessarily disagree with you about that but lots of people say someone who looks like Howdy Doody shouldn’t be champion either. BB: Watch it with that Howdy Doody garbage Piper. RP: I’m not saying you look like Howdy Doody, I’m just saying there’s people who do. BB: Once I finish off the Animal at Wrestlemania and you get done with your little name calling slap fight with DiBiase, I’ll be happy to put you or your bodyguard in a chicken wing and make you cry. Because a man playing bagpipes in a skirt or a man with such brittle bones that causes him to wear a cast on his arm for years shouldn’t be World champion either. RP: First off, it’s a kilt. Second off, after I finish off DiBiase, this man in a skirt will be thrilled to step in the ring with you and take that title.

Ed Whalen: What a night of action here in Vancouver. With a huge main event coming up later with Bryan Danielson vs Rod Fenton, I’m now being joined by Frank Gotch. Mr Gotch you’re up 2-0 in your best of seven with George Hackenschmidt. Frank Gotch: I’m not celebrating yet but a 2-0 start has me feeling pretty good. And if you remember I first laid out the challenge right here in Vancouver. Calgary got to witness win number one and Toronto saw victory number two. This month Winnipeg will witness match and victory number three. I understand several cities are already trying to secure match number four in April since it is very possibly the final encounter of Gotch/Hackenschmidt. EW: No matter who wins these matches it is always a pleasure to see the two of you in the ring facing off. I’ll honestly be a little sad it is coming to an end, at least for the foreseeable future. Good luck Mr Gotch.

Next the ladies will be in action as Candi Devine will face Melina and the main event will see a long standing feud come to Texas as “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce will face my guest at this time, Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana. Colt Cabana: Thanks for inviting me out here Bill. Me and Scrap Iron go way back to when we were breaking into the business and he’s been one of my toughest rivals throughout my career. BM: I can’t wait to see this match in person. CC: I’m a guy who likes to have some fun and I want to make sure I keep the crowd entertained but goal number one tonight is getting the victory.

What are your thoughts on tonight's main event? Hawk: Face painted clowns? Animal: Stretch us until we’re begging for mercy? Paul Ellering: Lance Russell, you invite us out here and ask us about tonight’s main event after your interview with John Pesek last week? LR: I was getting there. I just thought I’d start with your thoughts on Too Cool and PG-13 or even about your title defense against the Moondogs next week. A: I’m gonna strangle Strangler Lewis! H: Nebraska Tiger Man? I’m a Hawk from Chicago and I’m gonna be incredibly violent when I get in the ring with you. There will be no stretching, we’re gonna kick and punch and rip your stinking limbs off one by one. PE: I almost feel a little sorry for the Moondogs, Lance. We were gonna beat them and hurt them badly but after Pesek pissed off my boys I don’t even want to think of what Hawk and Animal are about to do to the Moondogs next week. A: And what do we think of Too Cool and PG-13? We don’t! H: OH WHAT A RUSH!!!

DC: He’s not in the match either JC: Then Randy Rose will win. DC: Jim… JC: So you’re asking me about a match that doesn’t involve Beautiful Bobby, doesn’t involve Sweet Stan and doesn’t involve Ravishing Randy? What the hell is wrong with you Crockett? Why should I care? DC: It’s the NWA National Heavyweight Championship! JC: You don’t treat the NWA National Tag Team Championship with the same respect you goof. DC: I have all the respect in the world for the National Tag titles! JC: Then you should be out here talking about how great the Midnight Express is and how they’re gonna squash the American Idiots next week! Mean Gene Okerlund: Joining me at this time is the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion Curt Hennig and his manager Bobby “the Brain” Heenan. Quite an impressive victory against Cousin Luke last week. Bobby Heenan: That was more than impressive you little jerk, it was PERFECT! Everything my man has done here has been absolutely perfect! Won the tournament to become Intercontinental champion, defended the championship against top contender after top contender since. MGO: I’m still waiting to see the footage from that tournament victory but with Wrestlemania right around the corner, do you think your man will be up for such a huge megashow? His Royal Rumble appearance was a little less than perfect. BH: Watch it Okerlund! Curt eliminated himself so he wouldn’t have to touch that disgusting animal, George Steele. As for Wrestlemania, I haven’t heard of anything yet for either of my men. It’s pretty obvious to me the rest of the WWF roster is afraid of King Kong Bundy and they realize it’s pointless to even try to take this championship away from Curt. MGO: So you haven’t heard yet? Curt Hennig: Heard what? Bobby, what’s he talking about? BH: Okay Mr Hotline man, are you going to fill us in or will it cost me 99 cents a minute? MGO: I’ve been informed both of your men will compete at Wrestlemania and I hope the three of you have been paying attention to the show tonight. King Kong Bundy will face off with one of the men in tonight's main event, Angelo “King Kong” Mosca in the battle of King Kong. BH: Mosca is a fool! If he would’ve kept his mouth shut and been a good soldier I was considering managing him and putting him and Bundy together as a team, he blew it! CH: What about my match? MGO: Your challenger for the WWF Intercontinental championship will be no other than Antonio Inoki! BH: How did this happen? Why didn’t we know about this? Stan Lane: Bockwinkel and Stevens are a great tag team and were fantastic champions, heck they’re three time champions. But we showed how tough we are. GS: Big match for you next week with the Magnificent Muraco. DC: Muraco is one of the toughest guys we’ve got here in Florida and this is a really important match, plus I need to get that win back from Bobby Shane from a few months ago. Along with that and trying not to get too far ahead of myself, I’m getting a really bad feeling about Kevin Sullivan and his cult lately. GS: The House of Humperdink? DC: It’s more than just the House of Humperdink, Gordon. There’s dozens, maybe hundreds of people out there following this nut job believing he’s the actual devil. I don’t know how he convinces these good people to abandon everything to become a follower but it needs to be stopped! My best friend Mark joined this cult and I haven’t seen him since! I’m not bringing either of them out here tonight but next week we’ll see another huge title change when my boys win the six man titles from my guests tonight. Please welcome the soon to be former six man champions, Ivan Koloff and the Powers of Pain. Ivan Koloff: Watch it you little geek or I’ll have Warlord and Barbarian tear you apart. JF: Hey! Is that a threat? I’ll sue all three of you! IK: Typical American trash is what you are and it’s more of a promise. You better keep your scrawny little neck out of our match next week.
