AEW defeats WWC, 5-2 Show notes: The first event in The Federation Wars was everything everybody expected it to be! Awesome! WWC took a 2-0 lead but AEW won the next five matches to series! Gerry Brisco slowed Ricochet down until continually rolling him up until getting the pin. Jessicka Havok and Mercedes Martinez slugged it out, laying a beating on each other. J-Hav, who recently lost the women's world title, overpowered Mercedes and won with the Havokiller. The Sheik did get his Camel Clutch on Kurt Angle a couple times, but the Olympic Hero completely dominated the wild man. Angle threw the Sheik all over the ring until putting on the Ankle Lock. Mr. Fuji's bruisers fought a very long match against the high-flying trio of Styles, London and Kendrick. Don Muraco went out first after Sliced Bread #2 from Kendrick. The Powers of Pain blasted Kendric with a double clothesline to even the match. The Warlord took himself out after missing a corner charge and London pinned the Barbarian following a 450 splash. The tag team match was one of the most anticipated of the night. As with all other promotions that have one of their champions entered in The Federation Wars, the WWC tag team titles will be on the line in every match. The Briscoes hit the Doomsday Device early on Stan Hansen. Mark and Jay kept up the attack and Bruiser Brody kept interferring. Finally he and Hansen could not be stopped and they were DQed. There might not have ever been as much blood spilt in a Japanese match before the Fans Bring the Weapons war between Abdullah the Butcher and Nick Gage. Both men were covered in red from head to toe. Abby showed Gage how your hurt an opponent, yet Gage somehow scored the fall after a choke breaker. AEW had the matchup won before the main event. Jimmy Snuka didn't get much going his way and Bryan Danielson worked his way to the win with a Tiger suplex.

CEW defeats USWA, 5-2 Show notes: An incredible start to the series of matches tonight as CEW won the first five contests to secure the team win right away. Mike Quackenbush finally showed some offense and fight against Danny Hodge, but the former World Jr. heavyweight champion regained control to win with the Oklahoma Side Roll. Mildred Burke took a beating for most of the bout as Trish Stratus was on fire and stormed to a win with Stratusfaction. The Iron Sheik and Austin Idol went at it until the Iranian missed a corner charge. Idol put on the Las Vegas Leglock to win the submission match. The Quebecers are coming off a great tour of Japan, but the Midnight Express rolled at the start of this one. Jimmy Hart tried to help his men but hit one of them with the megaphone. Still, his team came back to beat Eaton and Lane which set the score at 4-0 to win the team event. Everyone likes to watch two guys beat the crap out of one another and that's what Dutch Savage and Fred Blassie did in the Fans Bring the Weapons Match. Blassie looked like he was going to kill Savage with the damage he was doing. Savage found the strength to rally and hand out plenty of damage on his own. It was former World heavyweight champion Blassie doing a lot more damage though and he won with the Southern Neckbreaker. The USWA needed to get a couple points and they did with wins in the last two matches. The Four Horsemen were able to beat the Canadian Maggia in the six-man tag elimination match. Harley Race just lost the World title to Randy Savage in Japan, and he made short work of Jack Brisco to set the final team score at 5-2 in favor of Team Canada.
