Show notes: The second round of The Federation Wars kicked off with an incredible show! For the first time the team winner came down to the main event!

That main event was a dream match - the Briscoes and the Midnight Express! It lived up to the hype! One of the greatest tag team matches of all-time. The Briscoes took all over Eaton & Lane's double team finishers, while the Doomsday Device was hit on both of Jim Cornette's men. Cornette did everything to help his men. Saves, interference, distractions, the teams battled on and on. The end came with the Doomsday Device and Jay and Mark Briscoe scored a historic win for themselves and brought a 4-3 win to AEW over the USWA.

The opening junior heavyweight bout turned into a good one. Ricochet dominated but Quackenbush came back and it was anyone's game but Ricochet won with Chocolate Rain.

Mildred Burke punished Mercedes Martinez, but the Latina Sensation took it and then came back fighting! These two ladies brought the heavy lumber but Burke won following a backbreaker.

The Brass Knuckles match saw Nick Gage and Dutch Savage fighting on the floor as much as inside the ring if not more. It was a brutal encounter that once more could have gone to either man but Nick Gage came away the victor.

The six-man elimination contest was another exciting one. The Four Horsemen took the advantage when Curt Hennig Perfect Plexed Paul London. AJ Styles eliminated Tully Blanchard wtih a discus lariat. Barry Windham superplexed Styles. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 on Windham to make this a one on one match. Hennig Perfect Plexed Kendrick to win it all.

Kurt Angle didn't have too much trouble beating the Iron Sheik with the Ankle Lock.

Bryan Danielson came oh so close to beating the multi-time World champion Harley Race. This was an unbelievable match that Race came away on top after a diving head butt.

Show notes: Puerto Rico and Mexico turned in a great series of matches here in Round 2. Juventud Guerrera went to 2-0 after the 450 splash on Gerry Brisco.

Jessicka Havok manhandled the Fabulous Moolah, but it was the dirty tricks of Moolah that got her a surprise win.

Bandido & Flamita gave it their all against Brody & Hansen in a great match. The power house team of Hansen & Brody came out on top, retaining their belts and winning the ECW tag team titles.

The Brass Knuckles match was a brutal event that saw Abdullah the Butcher get the victory over Mil Muertes.

The six-man elimination match went down to the last two men. The Barbarian took out Rey Bucanero and Vampiro to score the win for his team.

Mexico had to win after that but Puerto Rico went on to take the team series 5-2. The Sheik downed Pirata Morgan in a Submission match and Jimmy Snuka splashed Bob Backlund for the final win.

Show notes: A tremendous night of wrestling opened with Danny Hodge taking the JWA Jr. heavyweight title away from Jushin Thunder Liger.

The women's match was non-stop back and forth action and Sherri Martel came away the victor wtih the top rope splash.

Fred Blassie beat Bull Curry in his own signature match.

Buddy Rogers quickly forced Austin Idol to submit to the figure four. The Quebecers easily defeated Greg Valentine & Larry Zbyszko.

Jimmy Hart's men battled back to win the six-man elimination match. John Tolos was left alone and went on to defeat Inoki, Rikidozan, and Toyonobori.

The main event was an all-time classic with Jack Brisco outlasting the Giant Baba.
