You had to be willing to put the other guys over which Vince simply wasn't willing to let happen. yeah, in his new book Under the Black Hat, Jim Ross talked about the failed Invasion angle. Ross said that while it is understandable that Vince would want WWE to win the Invasion angle it failed party because the guys from WCW and ECW were just completely buried. |

It's funny how quick wrestling promoters are to burn down something they didn't create rather than try to make money with it. Amen. See "Invasion angle 2001". Vince screwed up the most un-screwable angle in history. Still blows my mind to this day. The Invasion angle was one of the things I was thinking about. It was a once in a lifetime angle and they flushed it down the toilet. |
