I think $10is a bit steep, but I have no issue with $5 I'm with this. I'd prefer getting a printed book but not sure I'd want to pay an extra $10 to get it. I am not certain if folks understand how much full color prints of booklets cost. Without a discount even a five to six page booklet full color on glossy paper at OfficeMax would run you $14 to $15. I assume for Pro prime we'd be look at at least six pages if not seven or eight. $10 is a fair price for a hardcopy booklet that I don't have to pay to have printed, and waste my time driving to the store twice - once to pick up and once to drop off. Cost is relative, and if it saves me time I'll gladly pay a bit extra for it.

Just more than they want to pay for an accessory that's not necessary to play the game... Personally, I wouldn't even want to pay $5 extra... Not because I don't think it's fair... I just have no use for printed handbooks. I think it's important to remember that some people simply don't have a great amount of disposable income... Being thrifty is just a way of life... Especially when you're talking about a hobby... It's just a matter of respecting the value of a dollar for other people... After all, I think that is the spirit in which the question was asked in the first place.

I am assuming they are going to keep it optional, if you want to pay for it great, if you don't also great. I also think about the shipping involved with the cost of the 3 cards four times per year, plus the production cost. Again, these are all things that I am thinking about - with the additional five dollars - I would assume that it would be a choice - do you want a hardcopy handbook, or do you want it PDF only? I mean, again, they aren't going to lose customers by forcing them to go one way versus the other. I get being thrifty, and totally understand it. I'm a physical player, and like to have the handbooks to separate the cards that I have from each edition. To each their own.

Was just trying to clarify the opinions of others... I'm certain that Filsinger Games have always made it a priority to ensure the price being charged for any product is fair... And I'm equally certain that most (if not all) of our fellow promoters realize this... I was just pointing out that what's fair and what's considered a worthwhile value for any individual might be two different things.

That's exactly it.
When I made my original comment, which was quoted a few times by people who questioned the price, it wasn't that I felt like the FG was trying to gouge us for booklets, it's just I didn't feel like a booklet was worth a $10 price hike to me.

I would imagine they would make it optional.

I would imagine they would make it optional. I'd hope so. I agree. I wouldnβt pay for a book, (as much as I like PP) so Iβd be out. Iβm sure others would feel the same. They are usually pretty good w giving options to the customers w things like this.

I would hope it wouldn't raise the price $10, but if it was more on the side of $5, I'm definitely in. I think $10is a bit steep, but I have no issue with $5 100% this.

COTG booklets are great. Intros to the wrestlers, move descriptions, story, etc.. Indy booklets have move descriptions to pair up w all the crazy names on the cards that people may not know if they arenβt very familiar w the wrestler. Legends booklets tell us things we know already, & what a Piledriver is. If those booklets cost them more than $1-2 a piece, they should be printing their own.
