I wouldn’t expect most of these. Dr. Cube and Greg Iron are the only ones I see potentially happening, and I don’t see the need for Iron unless we maybe get an updated Eric Ryan and sign somebody else in 44OH to go with it (I’m currently using the old cards and it doesn’t represent the dominance 44OH should have) An Orange Cassidy update would be my top pick for updates, but that doesn’t seem likely or even necessary. Would rather get current indie wrestlers.

Since most of this list is probably not currently feasible, I will take Ken Doane whose last indy run (pre-Covid) from what i saw in Beyond and other places could def use not just a coloring, but a pretty solid update

Yeah, that sucks. Probably the Indy guy I want the most. But we do have a ton of options who were interested thanks to a diligent recruiting team.
Could you imagine being a young wrestler & not wanting the free exposure & to be in a game alongside Bryan Danielson, Nick Bockwinkle, the Road Warriors, etc.? And the game has a 30 yr history of being great!
Legends know of and or play this game.

Just out of curiosity when it comes some of these updates. Has anyone made an attempt to go to the man himself Tony Khan. We know he is an old school fan, tape trader Observer and PWI subscriber. He has for sure seen the old COTG ads and might be familiar. He also seems into the fringe realms of wrestling culture. Probably not an AEW set but allowing wrestlers to have cards in the game seems like something he would be cool with.
