You guys always kill it, even when I'm not too jazzed about the topic. TDalton did an outstanding job hosting and carried the 'colorful' verbiage for this week's low key Chad Olson. I think I counted 4 S Bombs, maybe 5, in some form or fashion. Always a fun listen gentleman! The Bret Hart of podcast never disappoints.

Here's a video link that fits the theme. I'll be posting the whole album, a track a week, on my YouTube channel.

Great episode, love hearing about putting together the sets.
I also once met Billy Red Lyons at DiPaolo's restaurant. I was about 10 years old and Billy Red would do the ring announcing when WWF was in Buffalo. Since I lived right down the street from the restaurant in Blasdell and I knew the wrestlers go there after the shows and always asked my parents to stop after the show. So while sitting there eating Billy Red & his wife got seated next to us. I got him to sign the match listing thing that got stuck in the programs back then. I think it was the same day I met Rene Goulet there.

Really enjoyed this episode, I always love the set breakdowns personally. And I really enjoy talk about specific card creation philosophy, so this was a real treat. Nice work guys!

I think this was one of the first sets that I really went into the weeds researching a lot of the names as I really didn't have a lot of experience w/ most of the set and really taught me a lot of history associated w/ wrestling history. Thanks a lot guys for exposing so much great content and history.

As someone that did not start playing Legends until the first color set was released, I thoroughly enjoy these glances back at some of the incredible sets that predated this LOW era... I'm definitely happy with the strength of the current Ed Lewis card -- He totally lives up to his reputation in my fed... And please mark me down as someone that is VERY excited at the possibility of Antonino Rocca receiving the color treatment in the not too distant future... A very dynamic performer that would certainly make an exceptional addition to any promoter's game.
BTW... I totally concur with your thought re. Konnan... I firmly believe the luchador version is much more versatile than his gangster persona.
Always a fun time!

Great episode. Finished this morning. Folks have been asking me to do card by card reviews of classic sets on my show but there is no need when you guys do it so well. Loved hearing all the BTS stuff. And TDalton was a relaxed host and in great spirits today at the perennial as well. Almost like a retired tax man heading into tax season. Cory Olson your wrestling team story reminded me of my high school wrestling career. I wasn’t good. At all. My junior year we wrestled a high school (Mills) and their team had one kid from another high school (Cappachino) that didn’t have a team. He still represented his school though. He was in my weight class so I wrestled him and pinned him so my claim to fame was beating the entire Cappachino team. Finally, Steaming Pile was my stripper name in college.
