Wrestling historians commonly rank the 🦘🦘 as the number one tag team of all time. Wild Red Berry is an early prototype of the fast talking manager who handled the promos. So, yeah, it would be big. Yeah, they were at one time acknowledged as the best team ever, so any set they’re in, be it a regular addition or prime, is pretty big. With the influx of tag teams we’ve had over the past few years, I can’t wait to play them against the RnR, Bulldogs, etc Travis605, but would the two of them be better as a tag team in the actual set? Folks who aren't enrolled in ProPrime, might be a bit upset if you can't get this most wanted colorization if they cannot get the set. I will still hold out hope that some day we will get Kevin Sullivan and Rick Rude done who along with Blasse and Bobby Shayne are my Mt. Rushmore for redone B&W.

I think Rob said a few years ago, in response to Vampiro and Juventud being in PP, that feedback from Promoters was that they wanted bigger names in the Prime sets instead of just "leftovers," so I can see it.

Hate to be the dissenting opinion, but I'm not so stoked about this set yet. It ranks with the vintage/old timers/guys from before we had cameras set as my least anticipated. Rocca and probably Don Leo will find use for me, but the others so far are on the "to be determined" pile. If someone like Blassie or the Tolos brothers gets included then my excitment grows.

"Emperor Norton" (Mark T), we've only gotten four names from the set. You can use Monroe in a Memphis fed if you have one. It's possible someone like Blasse or the Tolos Bros. get added along with whomever the person who might pair with Monroe well, could be. Gotta wait and see who the last four names are - you like 50% of the names so far, which ain't half bad.

He's a 1950s Memphis guy with like five minutes of existing match footage out there from what I can tell. Les Thatcher is cool and has a great history as a trainer, but again I have no frame for him as a wrestler. The last ones have to hit it out of the park for me to be actually excited about pre-ordering this.Â

As someone who uses everyone, I have no issue with prelim or bigger stars in prime…as long as they’re released.

I think Prime started out as a way to get some guys cards that weren't that big of a name or just couldn't get into a set. It's been more of a mix lately with some larger names in Prime. If it keeps going that way then there's a lot out there that will continue to wait for a card.

Folks who aren't enrolled in ProPrime, might be a bit upset if you can't get this most wanted colorization if they cannot get the set I look at ProPrime as a set of it's own, you just receive them in installments. Overall it's 12 cards for the cost of a 12 card set. If someone wants the Kangaroos or Blassie & Tolos or whomever it's gonna be then they buy the set. It's not like they don't have the option to go back and buy it at anytime like the argument about exclusive cards. If the Kangaroos are the ProPrime names and that's the selling point for a person then maybe they buy Prime instead of the set. I think ever since The Spoiler got released (and other names following) in Prime that it's not thought of as a second tier item to purchase anymore.

Travis605 a million thanks for getting Sputnik Monroe signed to the game. An absolute legend who would have fit perfectly into the Memphis set but bumping him for Dutch Mantell made sense. I'm still getting chills from that reveal two days ago. I can't wait to find a spot for him in my fed. I usually preorder on preorder day but my payday is this Friday so I have to wait, unfortunately. I am definitely getting legends, indy tag and PP when I place my order. So much amazing stuff coming and as always, it's a great time to be a FG fan!
