I think mostly because though he died in the middle of the decade, he was really mostly a 70s guy than a 50s/60s guy.

Shane definitely would have fit. Almost every one of his singles titles happened in the mid/late 60s. However since a good deal of his tag title reigns happened in the 70s, he'd fit a set focused on that period of time just as well...

I feel like that could work or he could be a great Pro Prime name - maybe a quarter that spans the ‘60’s, ‘70’s, and ‘80’s like Tillet, Shayne, and S.D. Jones or Danny Spivey? |

I first thought that the Sheik would have been perfectly fitting for this Set.
But he was one of the Guys,who had a career of 40 years....

Tillet died in the early/mid-50's so he probably wouldn't fit that particular set. Really his heyday was the 30's and 40's. |
