Last Friday night on IWTV, this week's announcement The Mane Event (TME) challenged last week's announcement the Philly Marino Experience (PME) for the AIW Tag Team Championship. PME retained or else the current AIW Tag Team Champions would actually be getting announced two weeks in a row for this set but with different tag teams.
TME has some sports theme tag moves (i.e the Flea Flicker, the Flagrant Foul) on their cards, they will be a fun tag team to add to your feds.

Can’t wait to get to see more of these guys! Unfortunately I don’t know them and got them confused with another team called The Mane Event that has been to a few shows in my area.

The Mane Event like their card art!
Ganon Jones Jr., who has been really helpful with me on Facebook Messenger going over the moves for him and Duke Davis and answering questions I have asked after watching their matches, sent me a message today asking about the artist. I gave him Werner's name and thanked Ganon again for him and Duke agreeing to be in the game (a great signing by Ty States) and for helping me with their movesets.

While working on these stats, one of the many matches I watched for reference was from last year’s Pizza Party Wrestling show on IWTV where it was the Mane Event vs the Mane Event in the main event. |

Does your local "Mane Event" involve a gold top hat, a hoop, and a Lucha Lion mask? Because that's who I thought this was going to be... While working on these stats, one of the many matches I watched for reference was from last year’s Pizza Party Wrestling show on IWTV where it was the Mane Event vs the Mane Event in the main event. Hmm... Well now I don't know what to think. I hate that this was a thing...but I also kinda love that this was a thing. |
