— Mr. Fuji and Yusef Ismail discuss what will happen to Bob Backlund, the W³ World Champion, at Halloween Havoc. The Powers of Pain plan to be at ringside so that all goes to plan. The fans jeer as the show goes off the air...

— Bob Backlund opens the show by coming down to the ring...

1. Bob Backlund defeats Pampero Firpo via pinfall after the Atomic Drop. Mr. Fuji interrupts Backland on the microphone; Firpo comes out as the newest member of Fuji’s men. Though he doesn’t win, Firpo makes sure to rough the W³ World Champion up really well before Halloween Havoc.

2. Flying Redheads defeat PG-13 via submission when Billy Red Lyons traps Wolfie in the Sleeperhold.

3. Danny Hodge defeats “Suicide Blond” Chris Candido via disqualification. After an amazing back-and-forth match filled with submissions and high spots, the New Blond Bombers begin to get involved once Hodge kicks out of the Blond Blomb. Stevens and Valentine both push Candido into a running lariat that downs the fan favorite! After another kick out by Hodge, the match spills out of the ring and Candido attacks with a steel chair.

4. Bryan Danielson defeats Rey Bucanero via submission with the Crossface Chickenwing.

5. In the main event, Jack and Jerry Brisco defeat the Heavenly Bodies by pinfall when Stan Lane goes down to a double tackle. The Briscos, this time in a fair fight, become the new W³ World Tag Team Champions! The show goes off the air as fans go wild!

* Pampero Firpo debuts and joins Mr. Fuji, the Powers of Pain, and Yusef Ismail.

* PG-13, Wolfie D. and J.C. Ice, have their first match in a W³ ring.

* The Briscos become the new W³ World Tag Team Champions!

Big time props to the Briscos on winning the straps... I think they'll be challenging my tag champs in the very near future as well... Very happy to see this fed firing on all cylinders again... Really enjoy the tight format... Always entertaining!

1. Pampero Firpo w/ Mr. Fuji defeats Brad Armstrong with El Garfio. Firpo refuses to let go of the hold after the bell is called. “Bullet” Bob Armstrong runs down to the ring and makes the save; however, the Powers of Pain come out and all hell breaks loose.

2. PG-13 defeat Scotty Riggs & Johnny Rodz when Wolfie and Ice stop Rodz with the Tilt-A-Whirl. After not getting in any action in the ring, Riggs turns on Rodz and beats him down after PG-13 leave the ring.

3. In the main event, Ted DiBiase defeats Kenny Jay via pinfall after the Full Power Slam to retain the W³ Television Championship.

* Scotty Riggs is back from an injury.

1. Scott Casey w/ Sam Houston defeats “Lightning” Rod Fenton via pinfall after the Bulldog.

2. Scotty Riggs, apparently a new man since returning from his injury, defeats Tracy Smothers via pinfall after the Five-Arm. After the match, Riggs says he’s looking for a new tag team partner. Marcus Alexander Bagwell comes out and stares down Riggs. 2 Cold Scorpio runs down confused! Bagwell turns on Scorpio and joins Riggs.

3. In a stiff battle, Bobo Brazil defeats Bull Curry via pinfall after the Coco Butt.

4. Flying Redheads defeat Del Wilkes & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan via pinfall when Red Bastien drops Del Wilkes with the Atomic Drop. After the match, Billy Red Lyons and Red Bastien tell Jack and Jerry Brisco they want a shot at the titles at Halloween Havoc!

5. Bob Backlund & Bryan Danielson defeat Powers of Pain w/ Mr. Fuji via submission when Bryan Danielson makes Barbarian tap from the Crossface Chickenwing. Mr. Fuji’s crew all charge the ring and attack, injuring Bryan Danielson. The show goes off the air with fans throwing trash at the ring...

* Bryan Danielson should be back in two weeks.

* Scotty Riggs and Marcus Alexander Bagwell form the American Males.

* Briscos vs. Redheads @ Halloween Havoc for the W³ World Tag Team Championship.

1. In the opening match of the night, Jake Milliman sets the crowd on fire. Yes, you read that right. However, in the end, The Trooper defeats Jake Milliman via pinfall after tossing Milliman from the top turnbuckle due to a botched crossbody attempt.

2. American Males versus 2 Cold Scorpio & Koko Ware doesn’t happen as planned; Mr. Fuji comes out with his team simply coined... “Mr. Fuji’s Men.” The Powers of Pain, Pampero Firpo, and Yusef Ismail beat down all four men and then berate Bob Backlund and World Wide Wrestling.

3. In a hard-hitting main event, an injured Bryan Danielson defeats Pampero Firpo w/ Mr. Fuji via knockout after the MMA Elbows. Before Mr. Fuji’s Men can attack Danielson, the entire locker room comes out and surrounds the ring to ensure nothing escalates.

Notes:

* Scotty Riggs and 2 Cold Scorpio were in a verbal altercation before the show.

* Danielson was not supposed to be back, but he felt ready to go...
