I was hoping Wolf would pull out the win but I knew Thantos would be a hard one to beat. With all these work-related injuries I would say the wrestlers need a good Lawyer. Great stuff going on here, keep it up.

DEFENDERS OF THE GALAXY EMERGENCY PRESS CONFERENCE



OMEGA entered the media center with the GALACTICOPS - GALACTIC PUNISHER and JUSTICE.

OMEGA - "Star Warrior is home on Cetus recovering from the burns on his face and chest and should be back before the end of 2091, hopefully... Wolf has returned home to Andromeda, along with Amazonia, to heal his broken leg and his return is unknown as of now. Spike... I have not spoken to Spike since he was taken away in the ambulance from STAR WARS, he left the hospital and his where abouts are unknown. So, you're looking at what's left of the Defenders of the Galaxy..." Turns and looks at the Galacticops. "We are not going down without a fight.... Let me introduce you to the team that will taking on the Gladiators for the rest of 2091... ANIMAL PACK!" INCREDIBLE BADGER & BATTERING RAM walked out and took position behind Omega.

Media person #1 "So the Cops will not be fighting the Gladiators anymore this year?"

OMEGA - "I didn't say that, but for the most part they will be going solo. Punisher will handle Krakan and Justice will going after Mayhem."

Media person #2 "What about Thantos?"

OMEGA - "I'm glad you asked.... let me introduce our newest member."

The media center door opened and every jaw in the room dropped when the MATADOR OF M83 walked on stage and stood beside Omega!!!

OMEGA - "War makes for strange alliances, enemy of my enemy kind of thing." Looks at Matador "We both know this isn't going to last past this year, but if we can work together and defeat the Unholy Alliance then ends will justify the means and next year will take care of it's self."

Camera's flash and media personnel scream questions as the Defenders of the Galaxy start to exit.


The back door of the media center burst open and in walks Thantos and the entire UNHOLY ALLIANCE. Thantos is wearing a tee-shirt that says I BROKE WOLF'S LEG!

THANTOS - "Your super team couldn't get the job done and most are now on the self, but this ragtag bunch of misfits is going to defeat us?!?"

The media scrambled for cover as security swarmed in the room to keep the two teams separate.

Trust me when I say I have the Galaxies greatest attorney Justin Case on speed dial.

The Villains aren't happy with just winning, they want to add insult to injury by hurting as many heroes as they can.
