He says he has "unfinished business". LOL.
Dude, you have the most finished business of any NFL player EVER!!!
He doesn't know how to do anything else. He's probably scared to quit. Like a mafia guy going into the witness protection program. Totally lost.

I figured out why he came back. Two words. Matthew. Stafford. Brady wants to have the record for most passing yards. Currently if Stafford plays 7-8 years, he will probably pass Brady. Odds are Stafford will not play more than that if he even goes that many years. So, Brady wants to play a year or two to make sure Stafford does not get there before Stafford retires.

someone else will break it eventually. Unlike most baseball records, football records are more likely to be broken.

True but unless Stafford does it I am not sure anyone else will do it within a decade of Brady retiring. You need to throw for many yards each year and many years. Brady, Brees, Manning and Stafford have done that. Only thing missing from Stafford is the overall years and he is still good for I would say at least 3-5. But with his family life I am not sure if he will want to go much past that. Time will tell.

The way this league is going someone will shatter the record with all the rules benefitting WRs, you probably wont be able to touch another player in a couple years.
And we all know there gonna keep trying to add games and teams here in the next ten years.

Well, anything is possible it is still about quality AND quantity. Check the career leader boards and guys like Rodgers and Wilson are far behind. Rodgers has about 5400 more yards than Stafford with 4 more years in the league. Even if you don't count his first two as a back up that is still 2 more. I mean, this is not an unbeatable record like most wins by a pitcher in a season or maybe even career steals. But it IS a hard one to get too. We just got spoiled with some really good QBs over last couple decades who also stayed pretty healthy and played a long time. Future QBs might have the ability to play into their late 30's and even 40's the question is, how many will want to. $ might lead them to not playing as long as they could.
