I correctly predicted #11 Iowa State over #6 LSU! Congrats to Chad Olson on Iowa State's victory! Last Summer, on the ride from Waterloo to Des Moines, Chad drove me through the campus of Iowa State where he works d Overall today I have only lost two games as there have not been alot of upsets today and one of the upsets that did happen with Iowa State winning is one that I had on my bracket. Thanks Zeke! Hopefully we can pull off another won tonight, but it will be tough against Wisconsin in Milwaukee. The ISU Women's team is hosting this weekend and won their game Friday night, and hope to advance to the next round tonight against Georgia. And in Mat Madness, ISU placed a 3rd, 5th, and 7th wrestlers this weekend. |

Going into the Sweet Sixteen, I still have both of my two Finalist picks remaining, 3 of my Final Four picks remaining, and 6 of my Elite Eight picks remaining.
However, I am not among the leaders in my group and I do not understand why I am so far behind as my 23/32 First Round picks were the 2nd most in the group. I had 23 correct in the First Round (for 1 point each) and 8 correct in the Second Round (for 16 points at 2 points each) yet at 23 and 16 I am trailing people with point scores such as 21 and 16? I must be missing something.

I think I’m doing well. I’m doing decent. Got a lot of sweet 16 teams still alive. No updates from my cousin so not sure exactly where I’m at but I’m doing better than the people who picked Kentucky (like my dad) and Baylor to win it.

My cousin decided to update the standings. Currently tied for 2nd place. Guy I’m tied with has AZ and I have Gonzaga. Amazingly 1st place (My dad by 2 points) has KY winning. So that won’t last much longer.

Couple others below me who also have Gonzaga have more available total points, but they’re currently much lower in the rankings. Long as the favs keep winning I should be in the mix. |
