Unless Young and Fulton have a much grander plan, I am not sure Young was helped by having Fulton ringside in the end! The Wolves and MCMG match was much what you would expect from them, but still great fun - the third fall being absolutely wild I agree and I was really not wanting a countout decision for my main event (I even roll twice for countouts to simulate the 20 count used by PWG- although sometimes I think you could count to 50 in PWG lol- and in ROH.) The countout result will be brought up on my next Impact episode which I am about to play out now (I need to keep my playing streak going and there is less than 2 hours left to do so here today with PST.) |

Match #1: Shelly Martinez defeated Chelsea Green (accompanied by Matt Cardona)
- Before this match started, Cardona bragged about his victory over Homicide at Hard Justice Impact but he did not mention the low blow he used to help him get that victory.
- This match ended when Homicide suddenly appeared and chased off Cardona. Martinez used this distraction to win this match via SHELLY SHOCK.
In addition to the VLW Championship, Impact will soon introduce a brand-specific Impact Championship!
Match #2: Eric Young (accompanied by Madman Fulton) defeated Chris Bey
- Bey gave him a fight, but Young won via a moonsault.
- Afterward, Young- who this past weekend at Hard Justice Impact defeated VLW Champion Ace Austin by countout- accused Austin of taking the coward's way out. This brought out Santino Marella! Marella said he is the new authority figure here at VLW and said he is taking Young's allegation of the countout verdict along with with Austin's complaint that Fulton's ringside assault caused the countout in the first place to book the main event of next month's Lockdown Impact- VLW Champion Ace Austin vs Eric Young in a steel cage which should prevent either a countout decision or a ringside attack from happening!
Backstage: Masha Slamovich- who this past weekend defeated Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz, and Gisele Shaw in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match at Hard Justice Impact- is told next week she will take on Jordynne Grace with the winner challenging VLW Womens Champion Deonna Purrazzo at Lockdown Impact!
Match #3: Rohit Raju defeated Matt Taven in an X-Division Championship #1 Contender's Tournament match
- Raju won via his MUMBAI DRIVE-BY.

Match #4: Jonathan Gresham defeated "Speedball" Mike Bailey in an X-Division Championship #1 Contender's Tournament match
- Bailey started off strong but missed on ULTIMA WEAPON. Gresham then locked in his patented OCTOPUS STRETCH and would not relinquish the hold until Bailey tapped out.
- As a result, next week on Impact it will be Raju vs Gresham with the winner challenging Trey Miguel for the X-Divison Championship at Lockdown Impact!
End of Show.

The streak goes on! Great X-division action, and a good decision from Santino to ensure that nothing can stop Austin and Young having to fight each other one on one!

Looking forward to Masha vs. Jordynne for the top contender spot... And very cool that Young and Austin will settle things inside a steel cage... Who will walk out of Lockdown with the title?

I have met Santino twice, once with Layla at Axxess before Summerslam in Los Angeles and once here in Las Vegas back in February when Impact was here for 3 nights. After the Saturday night takings he had a meet and greet and I got his picture in my WWE Encyclopedia autographed. But before I could ask him about the game they suddenly ended the meet and greet because a female fan passed out right in front of the table and the staff needed to attend to her and clear the area. |
