Vegas League Wrestling (VLW) VLW #7 August 18, Year 1 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Ian Riccaboni and Todd Keneley
Match #1: Von Erichs defeated The North
- Just 10 days before they take on the Motor City Machine Guns at No Surrender, the Von Erichs looked dominant here as they won this match surprisingly quickly when Marshall Von Erich quickly pinned Ethan Page following IRON CLAW/BACK SUPLEX performed in tandem with Ross Von Erich after just a few moves.
- Afterward, a frustrated Page actually blamed Josh Alexander for their quick defeat tonight. Alexander tried to calm down Page and offered Page his hand only for Page to give Alexander a low kick followed by THE SPINNING DWAYNE before leaving Alexander alone in the ring!
Backstage: Alexander Hammerstone says he is the first to announce their entry into the Battle Riott match at No Surrender!
Match #2: Masha Slamovich defeated Gisele Shaw in a VLW Womens Championship #1 Contenders match
- This match pitted two very recent VLW Womens Champions against each other as Slamovich dropped the title to Shaw at Victory Road and Shaw then dropped the title just days later last week to Deonna Purrazzo. This was a match to thus determine which former VLW Womens Champions would get a shot to regain the title against Purrazzo at No Surrender.
- For this match to determine her challenger at No Surrender, VLW Womens Champion Deonna Purrazzo provided guest color commentary for this match.
- As this match was starting, Riccaboni on commentary said he just received word that Josh Alexander vs Ethan Page has been signed for No Surrender!
- Slamovich avenged her loss to Shaw at Victory Road by winning this match via her WHITE NIGHT DRIVER.
- As a result, Slamovich will thus challenge Purrazzo for the VLW Womens Championship at No Surrender where she (Slamovich) will seek to become the first-ever 2-time VLW Womens Champion!
- Afterwards, as she picked herself up off the mat, Shaw was attacked by Jordynne Grace! Grace, making her VLW debut and sporting a new look since she was last seen in the VIU, then said she is now in VLW and she seeks to start making herself a contender by defeating Shaw- a former VLW Womens Champion- in a match at No Surrender!
Backstage: Moose says he is entering the Battle Riott match at No Surrender!
Match #3: Major Players (accompanied by Chelsea Green) defeated Homicide and Hernandez (both accompanied by Shelly Martinez) in a VLW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders match
- For this match to determine their challengers at No Surrender, VLW Tag Team Champions American Wolves provided guest color commentary.
- Major Players won when Matt Cardona pinned Homicide via his JUMPING LEG LARIAT while getting away with holding the ropes for extra leverage as the referee made the 3-count.
- As a result, the Major Players will challenge the American Wolves for the VLW Tag Team Championship at No Surrender.
- Afterward, after consulting with Homicide and Hernandez in the center of the ring, Martinez announced that both Homicide and Hernandez will enter the Battle Riott match at No Surrender!

- Hogan's open challenge is met from the commentary table by Madison Rayne who says she has just been informed there is an open spot on the Preshow for them to have a match at No Surrender!
Match #3: PCO defeated Calvin Tankman
- As this heavyweight clash was beginning, Riccaboni on commentary said both PCO and Tankman will be entrants in this weekend's Battle Riott match and neither one of them will likely be an easy elimination.
- A good match, PCO defeated Tankman- a 2-time and current AIVW Champion- when he won via a pop-up powerbomb.
Backstage: VLW Champion Ace Austin approaches Chris Bey and asks him, due to what happened last week on VLW where Eric Young's ringside interference allowed Madman Fulton to score a victory over him (Austin,) to counter Fulton's ringside presence by being in his (Austin's corner) during his (Austin's) title defense against Eric Young this weekend at No Surrender. Bey tells Austin he will be there!

It is now time for the start of No Surrender!
Vegas League Wrestling (VLW) No Surrender August 28, Year 1 (First Third of show)
- commentators: Ian Riccaboni and Todd Keneley
Preshow Match: Kiera Hogan (accompanied by Tasha Steelz) defeated Madison Rayne
- Thanks to a distraction from Steelz, Hogan won this match via FACE THE MUSIC.
Match #1: TJ Perkins defeated X-Division Champion Trey Miguel, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, and Rohit Raju in a Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match
- Miguel eliminated Bailey via Contemporary Colors.
- Miguel eliminated Raju via a rollup after a missed turnbuckle charge.
- It came down to TJP vs Miguel. TJP had Miguel in serious trouble and seemed about to win the X-Division Championship until Miguel- after getting thrown out of the ring- grabbed his X-Division Championship and walked away to take the intentional countout defeat.
- As a result, TJP wins this match but Miguel- since he was neither pinned or submitted- retained the X-Division Championship.
Match #2: Jordynne Grace defeated Gisele Shaw by DQ
- With her new look, Grace- who just made her return to the VIU last week on Impact- was dominating this match until Shaw- apparently out of frustration- grabbed a steel chair and smashed it against Grace to draw a DQ.
Match #3: Josh Alexander defeated Ethan Page
- Before this match started, Page- who recently attacked Alexander after a recent loss by The North to the Von Erichs on Impact- said Alexander was the reason they lost in the Second Round of the VIU Cup and tonight he is going to prove that Alexander was the weak link in The North.
- Just after Page stopped talking, the bell rang and a fired-up Alexander took it right to Page and won after just a few moves via his C4 SPIKE. Page never got in a single move of offense.
Match #4: VLW Womens Champion Deonna Purrazzo defeated Masha Slamovich
- Slamovich dominated most of this match and it looked like she was going to regain the VLW Womens Championship. But, a couple of moves after getting a needed reversal, Purrazzo hit a deathjump on which she scored a pinfall while getting away with holding the ropes for extra leverage as the referee made the 3 count.
- As a result, Purrazzo retained the VLW Womens Championship.
End of First Third. Second Third is next.

Gresham says he looks forward to teaching Miguel a lesson in the ring soon.

- A good match, the Von Erichs won when Marshall Von Erich pinned Alex Shelley via IRON CLAW/BACK SUPLEX performed in tandem with Ross Von Erich.
Match #6: VLW Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated Major Players (accompanied by Chelsea Green)
- First Fall: A very good Fall, the Major Players almost won this Fall but the American Wolves win here when Davey Richards pinned Matt Cardona after a superplex. American Wolves up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Another good Fall. The Major Players again represented themselves well here but again took the loss as the Wolves won this fall when Richards pinned Cardona via a double stomp. American Wolves win 2-0.
- As a result, the American Wolves retained the VLW Tag Team Championship.
Match #7: VLW Champion Ace Austin (accompanied by Chris Bey) defeated Eric Young (accompanied by Madman Fulton)
