Match #1: Moose defeated Chris Bey

- Just 3 days before he challenges Bey's friend Ace Austin for the VLW Championship at Turning Point Impact, Moose overcame some early offense from Bey to win this match convincingly via his SPEAR.

- As the referee raises Moose's arm in victory, Riccaboni and Keneley wonder aloud if Moose will defeat Austin in this weekend's main event to become the new VLW Champion.

Backstage: Rohit Raju sees Director of Authority Santino Marella and demands a match at Turning Point Impact. Marella says OK that Raju can fight PCO at the PPV. Raju suddenly looks like he does not want a match at Turning Point Impact after all.

Match #2: VLW Tag Team Champion Alex Shelley (accompanied by VLW Tag Team Champion Chris Sabin) defeated Matt Cardona (accompanied by Brian Myers and Chelsea Green)

- Before this match started, Green announced some major news as she said she has been told that at Turning Point Impact she will be in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match against Jordynne Grace, Gisele Shaw, and Masha Slamovich with the winner challenging for the VLW Women Championship at Bound for Glory Impact!

- This match was taking place just 3 days before Turning Point Impact where the Motor City Machine Guns agreed to defend the VLW Tag Team Championship against the Major Players but with the stipulation that if the Major Players lose then Cardona has to defend the VWTV Championship against Shelley when VWTV Year 2 starts.

- A good match as both competitors caused fatigue on each other, Shelley won via a deflected deathjump.

- As Shelley got his arm raised in victory, Riccaboni and Kenely said this result should serve as a warning call to Cardona about what could happen if he has to defend the VWTV Championship against Shelley if the Major Players fail to capture the VLW Tag Team Championship from the MCMGs at Turning Point Impact.

Backstage: Marella tells "Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Harris that, following last week's events, it is now official and Americas Most Wanted will be making their VIU tag team debut this weekend against Homicide and Hernandez at Turning Point Impact!

Match #3: Sami Callihan defeated Madman Fulton (accompanied by Eric Young)

- 3 days before Callihan gets a chance at revenge at Turning Point Impact against Young for Young's postmatch attack upon him (Callihan) last week on Impact, Callihan dominated this match against Fulton and won via his STRETCH MUFFLER.

- Just 3 days before the Impact Championship Tournament Semi-Finals matches at Turning Point Impact, this match paired one pair of Semi-Finals opponents in Edwards and Burke to take on the other pair of Semi-Finals opponents in Alexander and Taven.

- This was an excellent match with offense even distributed throughout with all 4 competitors scoring pin/submission attempts. This match ended when Burke pinned Alexander via ELIJAH EXPRESS.

Preshow Match: Billie Starkz defeated Holidead

- As this match was starting, Riccaboni and Keneley said that next week on Fusion the Featherweight Championship Tournament will begin!

- A good match, Starkz won via a German suplex.

Match #1: Danny Limelight (accompanied by Slice Boogie) defeated TJ Perkins, Aramis, and Arez in a Middleweight Championship #1 Contenders Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match

- This was a great and exciting opening match and without question one of the best Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination matches of any VIU show for this current year.

- Arez finally here in Fusion got a pinfall over his nemesis Aramis as he eliminated him via HECHO EN MEXICO.

- Limelight eliminated TJP via SYMBIOTE DDT.

- Limelight eliminated Arez via MORIR SONANDO.

- As a result, per this particular match stipulation, Limelight will challenge Teddy Hart for the Middleweight Championship later tonight at Turning Point Fusion.

Match #2: Sefa Fatu (accompanied by Josef Samael) defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

- This was a good match almost won a couple of times by Pillman Jr. via a flying crossbody and via his DIRE PROMISE finisher. But, thanks to a distraction from Samael, Fatu won via a pop-up Samoan Drop.

Match #3: EJ Nduka defeated Richard Holliday

- A good match with both competitors scoring multiple pinfall attempts on each other. Nduka won via a NDUKA BOMB followed immediately afterward by THE VERDICT.

Match #4: Alex Kane (accompanied by PB Smooth) defeated Kerry Morton in a Prize Fight Invitational open challenge match

- Making his VIU debut, Kerry Morton answered Kane's Prize Fight Invitational open challenge.

- The stipulation for this match was that Morton received $2,500 from Kane if he managed to survive 5 minutes in the ring with Kane without getting pinned, submitted, or knocked out.

- Morton looked impressive in his VIU debut and not only almost survived the 5 minutes but he almost won the match outright as he scored multiple pinfall attempts on Kane from moves such as a neckbreaker and such as his signature Showstopper followed immediately afterward by KISS IT GOODBYE. Kane however, as the 5-minute clock was coming to an end, threw Morton out of the ring where Snooth pummelled him before throwing Morton back into the ring toward Kane who put Morton away via his CROSS FACE KILLA during the final seconds before the 5 minute on screen clock expired.

- As a result, Kane was successful- albeit barely- in his first Prize Fight Invitational open challenge.

Match #5: Middleweight Champion Teddy Hart defeated Danny Limelight (accompanied by Slice Boogie)

- Limelight, who earned this Middleweight Championship by winning the Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way at the start of tonight's PPV, caught himself off guard by jaw jacking with some fans as the bell rang to start this match. Hart took advantage of this distraction by winning this match in just 2 moves as he hit Limelight with a dropkick followed by the Hart Destroyer for the 3 count.

- As a result, Hart retained the Middleweight Championship.

- Afterward, a furious Limelight demanded the match be restarted saying he was not ready but then he and Boogie launced a frustrated double-team assault on Hart.

Match #6: Fusion Tag team Champions Von Erichs defeated Injustice

- First Fall: Marshall Von Erich submitted Myron Reed via his IRON CLAW. Von Erichs up 1-0.

- Second Fall: Ross Von Erich pinned Jordan Oliver via flying Rossbody. Von Erichs win 2-0.

- As a result, the Von Erichs retained the Fusion Tag Team Championship.

Match #7: Killer Kross (accompanied by Scarlett Bordeaux) defeated Calvin Tankman in the Openweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals

- Tankman got off to an impressive start and seemed like he would advance to the Finals but Kross managed a comeback to make to make this match competitive and won via THE KROSS JACKET.

- As a result, Kross advances to the Finals at Bound for Glory Fusion to determine the first-ever Openweight Champion.

Match #8: Alexander Hammerstone defeated Willie Mack in the Openweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals

- A good match that saw the action go back and forth and saw both competitors score multiple pin attempts against each other. Hammerstone emerged victorious via a stalling superplex.

- As a result, Hammerstone- who once teamed with Kross in the first-ever VIU Cup- will now take on Kross in the Openweight Championship Tournament Finals at Bound for Glory Impact.

Match #9: Fusion Champion Jacob Fatu (accompanied by Josef Samael) defeated Davey Boy Smith Jr.

- Smith Jr., who earned this title shot as a result of winning this year's Opera Cup, put on an extremely impressive performance in this match but could not quite put Fatu away. Fatu won via MIGHTY MOONSAULT to retain the Fusion Championship.

- {Promoter's Note: In this match, Fatu's PIN went form 1 to 9 but Fatu nevertheless won this match.}

- Afterward, Fatu's postmatch celebration was ruined by the sudden appearance of "Filthy" Tom Lawlor!

- Lawlor, whose upcoming Fusion arrival was announced on a recent episode of Fusion, says he won the CVW Championship and the AIVW Championship shortly after arriving in those feds and he aims to do the same here in Fusion as Director of Authority Santino Marella as part of his recently-signed Fusion contract has given him (Lawlor) a Fusion Championship match at Bound for Glory Fusion!
