Ace Austin defeating Edwards to become the inaugural VLW champion has gotta be considered a bit of an upset... But, not as big of an upset as Trey Miguel winning the X-Div title... Especially against that kinda competition... Taven is not amused.
Really fun stuff, my friend... As always!

Promoter's Note:
My copy of 2092 arrived this past weekend and I finished my Glory Road PPV here.
I am going to temporarily shift my playing focus and my daily fed posting streak to the COTG fed forum to play out the final 4 monthly shows of 2091 (September of the previous COTG game year is where I always stop until the new set arrives so the new wrestlers can all debut in my annual Vega Warfare match) and then stop that fed again when I get to January 2092 (and resume it when I travel in July as COTG is easier for me to pack on trips than LOW and Indy.)
I will return to VLW here probably around the end of next week.

The first episode of VLW following Victory Road!
Vegas League Wrestling (VLW) VLW #6 August 11, Year 1 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Ian Riccaboni and Todd Keneley
Match #1: Rohit Raju defeated Chris Bey
- Raju, who made his VLW debut at Victory Road in the X-Division Championship ladder match won by Trey Miguel, won this match via his MUMBAI DRIVE-BY.
- Afterward, Raju announced he is coming after Miguel and the X-Division Championship!
In the Ring: VLW Champion Ace Austin with Madman Fulton.
- Austin, who became the first-ever VLW Champion by winning the VLW Championship Tournament at Victory Road, brags about being the first-ever VLW Champion when he suddenly gets interrupted by Eric Young!
- Young, making his VIU debut here, says he is now in VLW and says he is not wasting time and immediately challenging Austin for the VLW Championship at No Surrender!
- Austin says no because Young has just got here and has not earned a title shot yet.
- Young says that Austin will want to fight him (Young) but he will only agree to the match if Austin puts the VLW Championship on the line.
- Austin looks confused until he is suddenly attacked from behind by Fulton! Fulton- who has thus betrayed Austin- helps Young assault Austin before leaving the ring with Young!
Match #2: Injustice vs 5150 ended in a no contest
- Just days after Injustice shocked their enemies 5150 with a quick pinfall victory at Victory Road, an angry Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie attacked Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed before the bell. The referee was unable to break up the ensuing melee and thus ruled this match a no-contest as both tag teams brawled their way to the back.
In the Ring: X-Division Champion Trey Miguel. Miguel, who became the first-ever X-Division Champion at Victory Road by winning the X-Division Championship ladder match, says he is a fighting champion and will take on Rohit Raju and all other challengers!
Backstage: A battered Ace Austin is checked on by Chris Bey. Furious, Austin says he will defend the VLW Championship against Eric Young at No Surrender and avenge tonight's attack upon him but first Madman Fulton must agree to face him (Austin) in a match next week on VLW!
Match #3: Von Erichs defeated Willie Mack and Rich Swann
- the Von Erichs looked great in this match and won when Marshall Von Erich pinned Mack after IRON CLAW/BACK SUPLEX performed in tandem with Ross Von Erich.
- Afterward, the Von Erichs said they have been told the tag team that has signed with VLW and will be their (Von Erichs) opponent at No Surrender is the Motor City Machine Guns! {Promoter's Note: see September 10th 2022 post here in this thread.}
Vegas League Wrestling (VLW) No Surrender August 28, Year 1 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV 1. VLW Champion Ace Austin vs Eric Young 2. Motor City Machine Guns vs Von Erichs 3. more matches TBA
Match #4: Deonna Purrazzo defeated VLW Womens Champion Gisele Shaw
- Purrazzo earned this title shot by defeating Madison Rayne, Willow Nightingale, and Kiera Hogan in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match at Victory Road.
- Just 4 days after winning the VLW Womens Championship from Masha Slamovich at Victory Road, Shaw lost the title in her first defense here as Purrazzo won this match via a FUJIWARA ARM BAR to become the new VLW Womens Champion.
End of Show.
