TYSON DUX vs. DEL WILKES

"Wilkes came into the match all hyped up with the crowd chanting USA but that quickly turned into frustration as Dux would have the offensive advantage throughout the match and looked to get the win after hitting his NORTHERN LARIAT Finisher...however give credit to Wilkes for escaping the pin BUT to the surprise to many the masked man after connecting with a shoulder tackle off the turnbuckle looked for extra leverage on his pin attempt via his feet on the ropes!

It looked like he would get the victory UNTIL Angelo Mosca came storming to ringside and knocked Del's feet off the ropes right before the three count! Wilkes was furious as the two screamed at each other until JIM DUGGAN & THE SANDMAN came down and cornered Mosca! Meanwhile in the ring Dux came up from behind of his masked opponent and rolled him up with a handful of tights for the three count!!! After the match Duggan and Sandman stormed into the ring but Dux escaped the altercation and left through the crowd with Mosca"

BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP REMATCH

"Another absolute classic put on by these two teams with non-stop action from the opening bell. It should be noted that during the match Jacobs begged his opponents to never have taken the rematch, in the end maybe Jimmy was right because Brodie Lee black hole slammed Ricky Morton through a table outside of the ring taking him out as Jacobs caught Robert Gibson with a vicious knee strike to the head which led to the END TIME submission victory. As the champions left the ring Jacobs was shouting "This is NOT over!"

QUALIFYING MATCH
STEVE CORINIO vs. BRENT ALBRIGHT

"Many believe that this match set the bar for this very young promotion as this two tore the house down for nearly 25 minutes! You can tell a bit of a rivalry is starting to manifest between these two as Corino got the best of Albright in the battle royal, and the king of old school would once again get the better of Brent as he would connect for the second time in the match with his OLDSCHOOL EXPULSION Finisher for the hard-fought victory which puts him in the BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT"

TIGER MASK vs. *ROB VAN DAM

"Do to travel issues Rocky Romero could not make the event but he vows that he will be competing in a Tradition ring soon, in saying that RVD stepped up to battle the legend that is Tiger Mask and what a battle it was! So fast paced with high risk maneuvers by both including TM connecting with a spinning moonsault to the amazement of the fans for a NEAR fall!

The Michigan native was not short of amazing offense either as he connected with his VAN DAMINATOR! The fans were in shock that Tiger Mask was able to escape and the two continued to square off with a stiff open hand exchange in the middle of the ring which RVD would get the advantage and as he looked to splash Mask in the corner the legend would move out of the way as Rob would crash and burn outside of the ring, which led to Tiger Mask to connect with his SPACE FLYING TIGER DROP!!!!

TM would finish off his opponent in the center of the ring via his TIGER SUPLEX Finisher for the three count! A standing ovation from the crowd as both men embraced in a great show of respect to end the show."

RICKY MORTON VICIOUSLY ATTACKED AFTER TRADITION EVENT!

"Rock & Roll Express member, Ricky Morton was singled out in a vicious parking lot attack after he performed at the September 15th Tradition wrestling event in East Lansing, Michigan. We can confirm Morton was beat down in the parking lot of Crunchy's Bar, the wrestling legend was stabbed several times in the left side of his face and ear.

Wrestlers including his long-time tag team partner Robert Gibson found Morton laying in a pool of blood by his rent a car and quickly called 9-1-1, we can confirm that Morton is currently still at the nearest medical facility...we hope to get a update on his condition soon."

THE FIRST RULE OF TRADITION IS....

"The show started, with a camera man running from inside the arena to outside in the parking lot were...Robert Gibson and Jimmy Jacobs were tearing each other apart, Jacobs got slammed on the hood of his rent a car but took down Robert with a spear off the car! Officials were trying to break the two up, but they just would not stop! The two would brawl their way back into the arena, Jacobs would wrap a long cable cord around the neck of Gibson and try to choke the life out of him.

Robert would eventually escape via a low blow and return the favor with the cable around the neck and then toss Jimmy right into the merchandise stand! Gibson would bust open Jacobs the hard way by raining down stiff rights BUT Jacobs would recover and smash a pint glass full of beer on the bar right to his opponent's face! Glass was everywhere on on the bar when Jimmy dragged Gibson's face against the sharp pieces of glass over the bar!

Robert was a bloody mess but he he reached for one of the bigger pieces of glass as his face was getting dragged and stabbed Jacob's right in the side of his head! Gibson screamed that was for Ricky YOU BASTARD!!!! Suddenly Brodie Lee come out of nowhere and hit Robert square in the face with a BIG BOOT! Jacobs recovered and connected with a DDT from the top of the bar onto the glass for the apparent victory!

*Gibson was out cold as Jimmy dragged him to ringside..he swiped Gibson's blood on his BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Title then Brodie held Robert's leg as Jacobs came down right on it from the top rope with a vicious double stomp. Gibson screamed in pain as people at ringside explained after the event, they could hear Robert's leg snap! EMT's and other wrestlers as well as officials stormed to ringside as Brodie and Jacobs looked on Jacobs was escorted out of the building as Lee was escorted to the back.

It took several moments as a hush came over the crowd, as they tried to stabilize the leg of Robert Gibson who was still screaming as they escorted him out on a stretcher to be taken to the nearest medical Facility*"

CHRIS CANDIDO (Tammy Stych in his corner) vs. REDD DOG (Jazz in his corner)

"A very competitive match between these two, Tammy no question was neutralized by the presence of Jazz, but things got out of control when King Kong Bundy came down to ringside to try to assist Candido but was stopped by Jazz who was not intimidated one bit! Candido charged at Redd Dogg in the corner and missed which led to a overhead belly to belly suplex sending Chris right into the turnbuckle once again, as the Redd Dogg gets the 3 count to qualify for the Tournament!"

6 MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
BLOOD, SWEAT & BEERS & DEL WILKES vs. ANGELO MOSCA & TYSON DUX & ??
"Fans were introduced to the 3 year pro out of Canada...Josh Alexander as the third member of the Mosca, Dux team and he impressed early with a variety of suplexe's on the Sandman, Mosca and Duggan just beat the hell out of each other and Dux and Wilkes were putting on a wrestling clinic..so you pretty much got a little bit of everything in this match...in the end to the frustration to most in the crowd the talented trio from Canada got the W after Del Wilkes passed out after being in the CROSSFACE Submission of Dux for several moments, the official called for the stoppage of the match."

BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
QUALIFYING MATCH
EDDIE KINGSTON vs. BRODIE LEE

"What a debut for Kingston, as he and Lee beat the respect out of each other, it should be noted that Lee was getting pelted by trash as he was being escorted to the ring by security for the actions of earlier in the night, and in this hoss fight he connected with a package pile driver that everyone thought was the end of Kingston BUT Eddie showed his toughness and kicked out right before three. Brodie went for broke and climbed to the top rope and as he came down to finish off his opponent Eddie caught him in mid-flight with his BACK FIST TO THE FUTURE Finisher for the hard earned three count AND a spot in the BATTLE FOR TRADITION Championship Tournament.

Eddie picks up the BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Championship stares at it for a moment then tosses it on the downed Lee. Kingston flips off the crowd and leaves..as Brodie continues to get pelted by trash coming from the crowd as he is just coming to as the show ends."

"to the roar of the crowd comes up from behind on Jacobs and drops him with his GRINGO KILLER Finisher! Brodie and Kingston start slugging it out. As the match continues it spills to the outside BUT the referee lets the battle continue to his credit. Jacobs was not right since getting attacked in the beginning of the match but he and Homocide went at it, in the end it was Brodie getting the better of Kingston despite being forced to wear the crimson mask he got the victory thanks to a third Brodie Bomb on Kingston in the match to retain the titles."

"The Michigan native, RVD was clearly the fan favorite here and what a match against Claudio back and forth these two went with several near falls! Rob hit his 5-Star Frog Splash but it was not enough to keep the Swiss superman down! Larry Dallas seeing his big man was in trouble got up on the apron only to get kicked square in the mouth by Van Dam! Chris Hero wouyld then come down to ringside to check on Sweeney who was spitting out blood from his mouth.

Castagnolli would catch RVD coming off the ropes with a nasty European uppercut which led to launching him across the ring via his UFO quickly to his Ricola Bomb for the 3 count to qualify for the BATTLE FOR TRADITION Championship Tournament to the disapproval of the crowd."

REDD DOGG (Jazz in his corner) vs. ANGELO MOSCA (Tyson Dux & Josh Alexander in his corner)

"Jazz was certainly neutralized on the outside with Dux and Alexander there to counter anything she might try to give an advantage to her husband, inside the ring it was a smash mouth opening match to the Tournament with both men bloody and bruised in the end we thought thanks to a nasty elbow deop from the top rope onto Redd Doggs head that Mosca would get the three count HOWEVER the official found out that the elbow pad had a metal plate in it!

He then ordered Mosca to remove it and throw out both Alexander and Dux from ringside! The match continued, both men going back and forth until Jazz attempted to interfere, and she got caught by the official who then ordered her to leave ringside! The match continued when Mosca took Redd Dogg headfirst into the post busting him open! This brought out DEL WILKES to ringside as he began shouting with the official and his rival Mosca.

Redd Dogg recovered and stepped in front of Wilkes and asking him get the hell out of my match! Mosca then caught Dogg with a vicious shoulder tackle from the ring apron! and took him out thanks to his SLEEPER HOLD Finisher to advance in the Tournament!"

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLLI (Larry Sweney in his corner) vs. STEVE CORINO

"A match that nearly went the full 30-minute time limit but in the end after somehow kicking out of the RICOLA BOMB Finisher, it was the King of Old School that got the very hard-earned victory after hitting his OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION finisher!"

EDDIE KINGSTON vs KONNAN
"Kingston came right at the lucha legend with a straightforward street fight mentality even to the point of trying to rip the mask off Konnan's face! The AAA star would indeed fight back in and out of the ring and nearly got the win via a power bomb turned into a jack knife! Eddie barely escaped and with a busted nose and all rolled out of the ring and dared his opponent to continue the fight! Konnan had no problem with that request until Eddie posted his masked oppenent right into the steel then tossed him back in the ring and connected with a vicious half nelson suplex for the three count to advance"

ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL (Paul Ellering in his corner) vs. CHRIS HERO (Larry Sweeney in his corner)
"Right out of the gate the two corner men Ellering and Sweeney got into it outside of the ring to the fans delight! Hero thought he had the number of Animal again after he connected with his hangman's elbow but Animal continued the fight! As one half of the Road Warriors thought he had the victory after a nasty shoulder breaker from the second rope connected but while the official was distracted by Ellering and Sweeneny AGAIN Claudio Castagnoli would storm to ringside and smash Animal with a European uppercut which led right to the ROARING ELBOW Finisher by Hero! Claudio would sprint to the back as the official turned around and counted Animal down for the three count!"

"The Young brash and cocky Knock-Out kid got a lesson in this match, despite showing how much punishment he could take and the expertise of Larry Sweeney being at ringside, there were moments in this match where Kingston beat the holy hell out of Hero and the official actually stopped the match because Chris legit got knocked out after feeling a second BACK FIST OF THE FUTURE Finisher of the match to give Eddie his ticket to the finals. Officials from the back as well as medical staff tended to Hero in the ring for a few moments and helped him to the back."

STEVE CORINO vs. ANGELO MOSCA

"An absolute slugfest, it should be noted that Mosca told stable mates Tyson Dux and Josh Alexander to stay in the back during this match and you wonder if that was such a good idea as Corino would eventually get his hand raised in victory after a wild brawl outside of the ring that would end up around the bar! The official finally got control and gotr the two back in the ring when Corino hit a low blow as Mosca was getting back into the ring right into a DDT that spiked Angelo on the top of his head putting him down for the three count as it will be Corino vs. Kingston in the FINALS!"

BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

"This was a complete bloody brawl with three of the four men busted open by the end of the match (Duggan being the exception) The Glenn Falls native thought he had the match and the titles won after his football tackle took out Jacobs! The zombie princess barely escaped the three count and after Brodie Lee smashed The Sandman into the wall in the back of Crunchy's he caught Duggan with a BIG BOOT to the face after smashing him with a chair to get the three count to retain the titles for his team!"

FINALS

STEVE CORINO vs. EDDIE KINGSTON
"One of the most hard hitting and stiff matches you will ever see, strong style no question, add in an element of street fight tough and this was the finals of this tournament to a tee. Corino (bloody about halfway through the match) finally connected with his OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION Finisher but Kingston got his foot on the bottom rope right before the officials hand came down for three!

Kingston fought back with fists and kicks followed by a backdrop driver not once, not twice, but three times only to get a 2 count as Corino would kick out and somehow get back to his feet BUT Kingston caught him with a lariat! turning the King of Old School inside out to give Kingston the three count and giving the Mad King the title!"

To finish out the year 2009, Yradition would like to thank everyone that supported this promotion. We would like to congratulate Jimmy Jacobs and Brodie for becoming our very first BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Champions who will go into 2010 with four successful title defenses.

We would also like to congratulate Eddie Kingston who closed out our 2009 by becoming our very first BATTLE FOR TRADITION Champion. We can confirm that the challenge issued by Homicide at the end of Night 2 of GIVING THANKS has been accepted by our champion and the match will take place in February 2010, stay tuned for more updates on that match. We would also like to give our thought s to both Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson of the Rock & Roll Express who are both dealing with severe injuries, we hope to see them both in a Tradition ring very soon.

With our two-night GINING THANKS event our last for 2009, we would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season.

That being said Tradition will return for a three night history making event at Crunchy's Bar in East Lansing, Michigan. On January 9th 10th and 11th Tradition presents...
SWEET SCIENCE 16 TOURNAMENT
It will be a single elimination Tournament with the only way to advance is by submission. It must be an official Filsinger card and it must have at least one submission available on Level 3 offense. With that said we would like to announce the first enterant into the field of 16.....
