picking results round by round makes it harder for me to pick upsets early. Otherwise, my bracket would have had Death Masque or Bishop Hell eliminated early, because I figure one of them would be disqualified for their finisher at some point, and I'd be rewarded for picking the upset in the later rounds. Just a thought.

Yeah, I really wanted to have people just fill out the brackets and hand them in, but I tried for about a week to figure out a way to post brackets on the boards and had no luck.

I really didn't want to deal with having everyone hand in every winner in this format as it would get pretty confusing and there would be a chance of people not following the brackets properly. So, round by round it is. I'm thinking about spicing it up by making Round 2 victories worth 2 points, Round 3 worth 3 and so on...

Just a few stats on the picks so far, because I love stats:

EVERYONE has picked Thantos, Star Warrior, Wolf, and Spike... with only 1 person picking against Bishop Hell and Bounty Hunter, and 2 picking against Mesmer, Punisher, and (surprisingly) Comrade Terror.

- So far there are three matches that are pretty evenly split, that will play a pivotal role in who gets ahead... Viper - Krakan (7-10) Queen - Iron Mane (7-10 also) and Exo-King - Executioner (11-6)

I was kinda suprised so far only 2 people took Splatter over Punisher... I remember when we did the 'vote' sorta tourney not too long ago Splatter did really well.. I guess we all are picking with our heads and not our hearts.

The biggest surprise to me was Sam only getting 2 votes... he and Terror are pretty close, stat wise.. probably just as close as Viper and Krakan.

Interesting stats... I've learned my lesson from March Madness that you should never pick upsets in the first round. In the long run, the returns on picking all of the favorites in the first round are much higher than the possibility of going ahead of everyone by guessing right on a couple of upsets.

I really liked Splatter throughout his career. But if I remember correctly? Punisher had a really good card stat wise. Splatter's first card wasn't great, but could win a match here and there. Odds on favorite has to goto Punisher, even though this game is notorious for upsets!
