Also, how does a Carolina BBQ burger not have coleslaw on it? Isn't that standard? I'm so confused. This is a very important question. It absolutely needs the cole slaw. About the only time I eat cole slaw is with Carolina BBQ. I dislike the Eastern Carolina vinegar sauce, but love the Western Carolina sweet sauce. Its a bit more like Tennessee style. |

Regarding the cole slaw....if it were straight BBQ, then I absolutely agree...gotta have it. And Todd I'm with you, give me the sweet sauce over the vinegar any day of the week!

Now I may have to drive to Omaha for Zio's. Thomas (TK), are you with me? How about a trip to Zio's and then a trip to Stu's for Carolina BBQ?  Please stop by and pick me up before going to Stu's...I mean you can come pick me up to go to Zio's as well, but that might be just a little bit out of the out of the way. BTW...NO to the slaw...it's not necessary to go on ANYTHING. ----- Great episode, cool to hear the history on one heck of a fun federation. |
