Gordon Solie: Welcome everyone to the first edition of Big Time Wrestling’s Power Hour of Wrestling. I am your host Gordon Solie and this afternoon we have a great show for you lined up. In our main event we will see a special tag team bout pitting the final four wrestlers in the Big Time Wrestling Heavyweight championship tournament - Buddy Rogers and Dusty Rhodes take on Jimmy Snuka and Big John Studd. Plus we will also see “Ravishing” Rick Rude in action…
The shot then goes to the right where we see Mike Rotunda walk on camera.
Gordon Solie: I am joined here by Mike Rotunda. Mike, what do you have to say?
Mike Rotunda: Last night at the Robert Guertin Arena I was disqualified for hitting Koko Ware with a steel chair. Well, I want to say why I did what I did. You disrespected the Canadians when you interrupted the singing of the national anthem. Now I may not be Canadian but I respect the fans and because of your disrespect Koko Ware, you better watch out because I am coming for you!
Gordon Solie: Well there you have it folks, Mike Rotunda warning Koko Ware. Now we are going to go to a short break but when we come back we are going to see “Ravishing” Rick Rude take on “Gentleman” Jerry Valiant! Don’t change that channel we will be right back.
Match # 01 - “Ravishing” Rick Rude -versus- “Gentleman” Jerry Valiant- “Ravishing” Rick Rude beat “Gentleman” Jerry Valiant at 6:26 with a pile driver. This was a great and fast paced back and forth match. Rick Rude had tremendous heat. After the match Rick Rude got on the microphone and welcomed in a woman from the crowd. He planted a kiss on her as the show then cut to a replay of Rude hitting the pile driver for the win.
The shot then went to Gordon Solie who was now standing at ringside. We see Rick Rude get out of the ring and stopped by Solie.
Gordon Solie: Well Rick Rude, you just had an impressive win here in Big Time Wrestling. What are your thoughts on making your debut here for Big Time Wrestling?
“Ravishing” Rick Rude: Gordon Solie it’s like this. Every man wants to be me and every woman wants to be with me. It won’t be long before I have gold around my waist. Now, as for next Friday at the Robert Guertin Arena, I am issuing an open challenge to anyone who wants to step up and face me. See you then.
Rude then walks off camera.
Gordon Solie: Well “Ravishing” Rick Rude has issued an open challenge for next Friday in Hull at the Robert Guertin Arena. Who will step up to the plate? We will find out. Get your tickets now for that big night of wrestling action. We are going to go to a commercial break but when we come back we will see Toni Rose take on Judy Martin in a special ladies contest. Match # 02 - Toni Rose -versus- Judy Martin- Toni Rose beat Judy Martin at 5:58 with a neck breaker. This was a really great match. The fans were into the bout the whole time. Toni Rose celebrated her victory and was stopped by Gordon Solie who had a microphone in hand.
Gordon Solie: What a great match that was and that was an impressive victory for you Toni Rose. Now this Friday night at the Robert Guertin Arena you have a match against an opponent to be named. What are your thoughts going into this match this Friday?
Toni Rose: Well Gordon I am very happy with my victory here this afternoon. Come Friday, I’ll be ready no matter who I face. It doesn’t matter who they line up because they will fall victim to my neck breaker. Thank you for your time, I must get ready for Friday!
Gordon Solie: Well, we are going to go to our last commercial break but when we come back we have our special tag team match. It’s Buddy Rogers and Dusty Rhodes taking on Jimmy Snuka and Big John Studd. We will be right back!
Match # 03 - Dusty Rhodes and Buddy Rogers -versus- Jimmy Snuka and Big John Studd- Buddy Rogers and Dusty Rhodes beat Jimmy Snuka and Big John Studd at 1:36 when Buddy Rogers put Jimmy Snuka in a Figure Four Grapevine. After the match all the wrestlers got in each other’s faces as the show went off the air with Gordon Solie reminding us about how we will see the first Big Time Wrestling champion crowned!
