According to Uncharted Territory, Spivey was a late add (because he's being honored this year). And the subbed name was not Saito, but a new name.

Test playing today....had a Round Robin Tag tournament. Obviously didn't include Banner, but let Inoki have the night off due to winning the singles tournament. The wrestlers kinda fit in with one another with Sarge/Kernodle (kinda Team USA), Spivey/Rotunda (Varsity Club) and Henry/Shamrock (tied into with one another in the Attitude era)
I rolled for each team with the team getting the highest roll wrestlers the first and third match, getting a rest during the second match
Match 1 - Sgt. Slaughter & Don Kernodle beat Mark Henry (5) & Ken Shamrock when Henry was counted out
Team USA - 1 win
Atttitude Era - 0 Wins
Varsity Club - 0 Wins
Match 2 - Mike Rotunda & Dan Spivey (6) beat Sgt. Slaughter & Don Kernodle (1) when Kernodle was counted out
Team USA - 1 win
Atttitude Era - 0 Wins
Varsity Club - 1 Wins
The Attitude Era needs a big win to stay alive. If the Varsity Club wins, they win the Round Robin Tag Tournament
3) Mike Rotunda & Dan Spivey beat Ken Shamrock & Mark Henry (1) when Spivey pinned Henry after the POWERBOMB
Team USA - 1 win
Atttitude Era - 0 Wins
Varsity Club - 2 Wins
With Kernolde being such a tag specialist, I thought they'd pull out the win, but Spivey and Rotunda shocks the crowd
