I'll be using four jobber teams now....Men At Work (Milliman/Jay), Mulkeys, Snack Time (LeBlanc and Barrera) and Southern Stars (South and Steinborn) Tag Gold for the win.

Maybe they should have just introduced a new mechanic into the game, the reverse reversal. Something on a wrestler's offense chart that when rolled, allows the opponent to take over. :-P Seriously, you could book a total squash by treating the jobber's reversals as dazed and hurt results instead.

I'm British , The Mulkeys I don't know them at all . But I will still get the pack Its kinda crazy. joebreakdown is British as well, and just posted right before you...but he knows all of these guys, lol. US wrestling never hit our shores till late 1989 and it was either WWF on Sky (which folk had to subscribe to) or WCW on national TV (which was on for a year, off for three, etc.). I watched WCW weekly and that's how I know Ric Flair, Sting, Lex Luger et al. I didn't have Sky so bought the WWF PPVs on tape. How Joe knows, I don't know! Maybe he watches them on youtube? It's a different story with today's wrestling as AEW, NXT UK and WWE Raw are all on weekly.

My Dad worked nights so would video everything for me. We had WWF, some Mid South and weirdly, the Global Wrestling Alliance. There were probably others, but I was only about five then! Then I guess I got hold of videos and import magazines and the like. I never had Sky until the mid 90s and by then, I’d given up on wrestling. I think WWF Wrestling Challenge was the first American wrestling I regularly saw. And you’re right, YouTube has been a wonderful resource for watching the old territories of the 80s.

I had no idea WWF was on ITV in the 80s. I just remember my Grandad loved World of Sport and watched that. I was a bit too young and more into football to focus on it. But it was always a bit special when Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy were on. Fading memories but it seemed so real back then. By about 1989 everyone at school was banging on about WWF and this incredible guy called the Ultimate Warrior! We got Sky more or less purely for the wrestling and I was hooked for a few years

World of Sport was cancelled in 1985 and replaced with a standalone program on ITV simply called "Professional Wrestling." At least eventually, it went from a show focused solely on Joint Promotions (sort of the British version of the NWA, operated by the Crabtrees) to including Brian Dixon's All-Star Wrestling and the WWF in a rotation system.

I remember watching the Coronation of King Haku during the old World Of Sport time slot. I’m old…
