I bought my ticket to this show tonight. It really did not cost me one single cent as I used some of the money through my PayPal account that I won from winning the recent NCAA pool I was in to make the ticket purchase.

updated lineup for next weekend:

It is being reported that JD Drake, Wheeler Yuta, and Top Flight were pulled from this PWG show 1 week from today because next weekend's Dark tapings were moved from Saturday to Sunday. Daniel Garcia, who I think has a good possibility of winning the PWG World Championship next weekend, is still being allowed to work the show. So it looks like the only AEW names that will be there next week are Garcia and Excalibur.

The Briscoes understandably won't be able to make this show tomorrow due to the pregnancy complications this weekend involving the wife of Mark Briscoe. My thoughts go out to the Briscoes.

Arrived at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles a little over an hour ago to drop off my friend who works for PWG. I am currently sitting at the bar next to the Globe Theater watching GCW on my phone (currently Intermission) until doors open in a couple of hours.

West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson) have been announced as the tag team replacement for the Briscoes in tonight’s match with Aussie Open.

I am home now from going to Los Angeles today for PWG. I got up at 5 AM to play and post my daily fed results so I only slept for a few hours last night. But I slept for awhile on the way to California and for quite awhile on the way back (I thought I fell asleep for only a few minutes but when I woke up we were back in Las Vegas.) We got to PWG at about 1:45 and, while my friend went to work at PWG, I went to the beer garden bar next door and watched GCW on my phone and talked to some friends until it was time for the doors to open. I was a little surprised in the opening match to see Jack Cartwheel (who just got announced for the next Indy set) defeat Shane Haste. But I was definitely not surprised to see Aussie Open defeat the West Coast Wrecking Crew who I thought did well in their PWG debuts while being a last-minute replacement for the Briscoes. Hopefully that Briscoes vs Aussie Open match will still happen at PWG. Some other results: Jonathan Gresham over Kevin Blackwood, Konosuke Takeshita over Aramis, and Black Taurus over Blake Christian. The match of the night IMO was Biff Busick defeating Mike Bailey. Busick was definitely a heel tonight as he spit on a Super Dragon mask in the ring. Busick said he is going for the PWG World Championship. In the main event, as I earlier predicted correctly on this thread, Daniel Garcia defeated Bandido to become the new PWG World Champion. This did not go over well with the crowd. Garcia won shortly after giving Bandido a low blow and during the match Garcia was hit with chants of "entertainer." Afterward, Garcia told Bandido to get the hell out of the ring as people in the crowd flipped off Garcia. Normally after a title change at PWG, I afterward see people line up to take a photo with the new champion and the belt, but not tonight. Garcia is one of the best wrestlers today and I see him as a future main eventer for AEW, but he is just not going to get a positive reaction by taking the title off Bandido in Los Angeles. After the show, I got to give Aussie Open copies of their cards and they signed my copy of their cards which I have posted pictures of on this post below. I think Aussie Open- who have already won many major international tag teams championships including the Progress Tag Team Championship twice, the wXw World Tag Team Championship twice, and the RevPro Undisputed British Tag Team Championship twice- will indeed become future PWG World Tag Team Champions as they said during the show they are going after the PWG World Tag Team Championship currently held by Tommy End and Brody King. I told Aussie Open about how they won the Vegas Cup tournament in my VWA fed. My friend who works for PWG gave me the date for the next PWG show. It is not my news to announce so I won't say the date here, but it is on one of the weekends (not saying which weekend) prior to Galacticon and a day I can go- although it will be a busy weekend for me as it is the day after another major show that I have a ticket for. This was Show #21 in 2022 for me. Show #22 was going to be Super Beast's next show this Friday, but that show is reportedly canceled (I know Super Beast had some issues getting his license to run shows at his compound but I am not sure if that is why the show might be canceled.)

Aussie Open has been doing well, from what I read around the hub. They're in NJPW too, and I think they are with Ospreay's Empire faction now? At any rate, expecting some big things from them coming up, too good to hanging around the indies!
