I finished listening to this episode the other day, another great edition of Roll Up! As for RVD, he lives here in Las Vegas so I have been able to meet him a couple of times including once after he did standup comedy at the Hooters casino next to the Tropicana when he signed my copy of his LOW color card. I have some picture of that event on this post. As far as wrestling goes, I did not get to see much ECW when I was going to college in Eastern Washington for my Bachelor's degree before moving to Las Vegas for graduate school in 1999, but I really enjoyed his time in WWE from around 2005-2007. Outside of WWE, my favorite RVD match was when he did his one appearance at PWG where he defeated both Chris Hero and Roderick Strong at Kurt Russellreunion. As far as the game goes, in LOW, RVD soon after debuting briefly held my EAWA Championship, he is a two time EAWA Tag Team Champion (once with Sabu- who also live here in Las Vegas- and once currently with Curt Hennig,) and he won my Money in the Bank match at Vegasmania 3. In my Indy Universe, I used the RVD color card that was released in (I think?) 2013 and I teamed him with the color cards of Rhino, 2 Cold Scorpio, and Steve Corino. They were Team Extreme in my Combat Vegas Wrestling (CVW) fed. Tonight I downloaded the new episode #58 which I will start listening to tomorrow on my way to work.    |
