This was a good listen while I was working on a server this morning and loved you guys' thoughts on the new expansion. Thank you for your insight on rankings and title defenses...I use story driven rankings in my current GWF/FTR but I feel like some talent gets overlooked...however, Marcus bases his off win/losses for the year and I like seeing some lower ranked talent getting some love but usually they don't strike gold...so, I was wondering which way you guys used. Btw Chad, who likes their own posts? I mean, come on...of all the narcistic...self-indulging...  Just for that, I will like this post!  |

Good show, as usual. I won't use "as always" guys because that's just setting you up to fail.
Rocca upgrade is appreciated for sure. He's so hard for people to contextualize because, as mentioned, he was never world champion but he was an undisputed megastar in his time. Not a lot of pinfall losses on his record in his prime.
Rankings? People do rankings? Come on, we're making movies over here. It's all about storylines, pal. Seriously, my thought process is "guy wins a lot of matches, has good card, will match up well with the champ. Book it."
And finally, Tim needs to quit holding back on his art critiques. Come on, tell us what you really think! I do agree on that Ursa drawing, all joking aside. It's technically a nice drawing and I get what they were going for, but I'd have asked for something a little more "open" in the pose that takes up more of the card space. If that makes sense to anyone. I'm thinking Ursa in a classic upright amateur wrestlers stance with a blank look on his face. Think old high school yearbook or newspaper photo if you don't know what I mean.
