Exodus according to the Bible, the liberation of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt in the 13th century BCE, under the leadership of Moses; also, the Old Testament book of the same name. The English name of the book derives from the Septuagint (Greek) use of “exodus” to designate the deliverance of the Israelites from Egyptian bondage and their safe passage through the Sea of Reeds (traditionally mislocated as the Red Sea). Today’s wrestling the wrestlers are told how to act, what moves they can use, what and how to speak; in essence totally scripted or chained to the will of corporate owners. In EXODUS WRESTLING, wrestling (not sports entertainment) is once again FREE from scripts and the chains that holds down the wrestlers from doing whatever is necessary for the sake of competition. In EXODUS the chains that hurts this sport are broken…….

However if the opponent wins he will shake their hand admit his opponent is better! Who will answer his challenge?

2 of today’s best technical wrestlers has joined forces to form a new tag team. Drew Gulak, can find multiple ways to stretch his opponent. Biff Busick is a rough and tough grappler that can put on a wrestling clinic with the best of them. Busick & Gulak is sure to become a great tag team in the making as 2 of America’s Top Stretchers are now a unit!

Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team has held multiple tag team championships in many different promotions! Benjamin & Haas will be a great test for the new tag team of Busick & Gulak!

JON DAVIS -1/15- TITO ESCONDIDO
It was a solid showing by both wrestlers but the power advantage for Tito was too great as he used 2 F-5s to pin Davis!
WINNER TITO ESCONDIDO (9:01)

As the PPV started you see a low rider pull up at the front entrance of the Globe Theater as Konnan, Homicide, & Romero walks into the venue, through the fans, and into the ring! As Konnan addresses the fans about other promotions screwing him and not giving Homicide/Romero a legitimate shot, he throws out a challenge to any team to come here to Exodus and get their asses handed to them. The venue goes dark, you hear a familiar whistle blowing, as the lights return you see Bill Alfonso on the middle turnbuckle (blowing his whistle), RVD (doing his double thumbs), & Sabu (pointing to the lights) as the Extreme duo excepted the challenge!

THE ROTTWEILERS -1/20- ROB VAN DAM & SABU
Homicide & Romero started strong and kept RVD on the defensive for over half the match. RVD showing his toughness manage to kick out of 6 pin attempts before tagging in Sabu! Sabu used his aerial and weaponry to take the fight to the Rottweilers until they uncontrollably brawled through out the venue and at one of the bars of the venue Homicide used a whiskey bottle and broke it over Sabu‘s head. RVD used a silver serving tray from a waiter working the bar to execute his Van-Daminator on Romero as the referee lost total control and called for the bell after counting both team out!
DOUBLE COUNTOUT (16:57)

Austin Aires comes to the ring, starts boasting about how he collected 6 championships in different promotions and holding them at the same time, making true on his claim to being the “Greatest Man That Ever Lived!” Aires then opened up his “Greatest Man Ever Open Challenge” to any wrestlers and even any fans that dared to try! Chaz Taylor enters
the ring excepting the challenge!

AUSTIN AIRES -1/20- CHAZ TAYLOR
As Taylor extends his hand for the code of honor, Aries slaps his opponent in the face! A fired up Chaz took it to Aires until Taylor tried climbing the turnbuckle as Aires caught him and slammed him hard to the mat, a brain buster and Last Chancery ended Taylor’s match quickly!
WINNER AUSTIN AIRES (1:53)

Aires once again boasting how good he is did not realize Christopher Daniels was behind him……The “Fallin’ Angel” punched him into the ropes then sent him over the top to the floor with a clothesline! As Austin Aires was upset if not embarrassed was quite angry with Daniels, challenged him at Exodus: Chapter 2, CD accepted and told him to prepare for a loss!

BRIAN CAGE -1/20- WILLIE MACK
The long time rivals did not disappoint the fans as the 2 wrestlers did not hold back trying to get a win at Exodus’ debut event! Mid way through the match with Cage had control JJ Dillon was spotted taking notes. As the battle raged on it was thought Mack had the victory only for the referee to spot Cage’s foot on the rope after the pin, as Mack was arguing with the referee, Cage kneed him from behind into the referee knocking out the ref, and sending Mack to the floor! Cage set up a table placed Mack on it and drove an elbow onto Mack, and breaking the table, and used his F-5 on the floor before rolling his opponent back in the ring, Cage revived the referee and got the three count!
WINNER BRIAN CAGE (17:28)

As Cage was returning to the dressing room Tito Escondido met him on the isle as the 2 had a brief stair down before security separated the two!

During the intermission Matt Striker caught up with “the Machine” Brian Cage, Cage’s response to his stair down with Escondido, “Before taking on a challenge, he should get out of PPV dark matches!” Striker then caught up with Christopher Daniels, Daniels wanted to answer A Double’s challenge tonight, but Chaz beat him to it, so he gets Aires at Exodus: Chapter2! Striker also got comments from Liger, Styles, and Danielson how tonight’s main event 3 way is the 1st qualifier for the upcoming Exodus Championship Tournament! As the intermission was coming to a close you see Stokely Hathaway head to the ring!

Stokely Hathaway strolled into the ring giving a promo how he made stars on the independent scene, and that he now has a “Franchise” for a client to represent Black Friday Management……….Jay Lethal! As Lethal made his entrance explaining why he’s done satisfying the promoters, his friends, and the fans that holds his greatness back…….Nigel McGuinness enters the ring, tells Lethal how ungrateful he has become, and that it’ll be the 2 of them at Exodus: Chapter 2 in a Exodus Championship Tournament Qualifier!

WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM -1/20- DREW GULAK & BIFF BUSICK
Busick & Gulak gave WGTT a tight match and almost scored a win after Busick’s Half & Half from the top on Haas! As the match went longer WGTT managed to regain advantage and ending the match when Benjamin used a tombstone piledriver on Gulak!
WINNERS WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM (14:37)

After the match the 4 wrestlers engaged in the code of honor, then you see on the screen Adam Cole & ReDragon, as O’Reilly & Fish laid down a challenge for Gulak & Busick for Exodus: Chapter 2, and Adam Cole..Bay-Bay announced that currently he has prior engagements and will grace Exodus some point in the future! A promo is shown as Exodus: Chapter 2’s main event is announced, Kevin Steen -1/45- Mil Mascaras in an Exodus Championship Tournament Qualifier!

2 COLD SCORPIO -1/20- SW3RVE STRICKLAND
The 2 wrestlers engaged in the code of honor at the start showing back and forth chain wrestling, that quickly turned in favor of Scorpio until a mid-timed tope suicida. It was clear that Scorpio was hurt bad as Sw3erve finished him quickly after a 450
WINNER SW3RVE STRICKLAND (11:33)

After the match Scorpio & Sw3rve engaged in another code of honor as Scorpio raised Strickland’s hand in victory, the 2 embraced, and left to the back together.

TULLY BLANCHARD & BARRY WINDHAM -1/30- JAY & MARK BRISCOE
It was the Briscoe’s taking charge in the beginning with quick tags and just out wrestling the Horsemen. The tide changed when Dillon slipped Blanchard a chain to bust open Jay, almost allowing the Horsemen to steal a victory. The Briscoe’s will not be denied this victory as the mounted a comeback with Mark scoring the win over Blanchard after a Froggy-bow!
WINNERS THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (21:45)

After the match as The Briscoe’s left to the back, The Horsemen was arguing amongst themselves. As Windham went to exit the ring Blanchard suckered punched BW, then clipped Windham’s knee. Blanchard did further damage to it after JJ Dillon handed him a chair, placing Windham’s leg in it as Dillon held Windham, and Blanchard from the top jumps onto the chair! As Blanchard & Dillon left the medical team tended to the injured Windham!

MAIN EVENT 3 WAY EXODUS TITLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER
BRYAN DANIELSON -1/60- JUSHIN LIGER -1/60- AJ STYLES
The 3 wrestlers engaged in the code of honor as they each arm dragged the other, until Danielson hit a vicious kick to Styles sending him out of the ring allowing Liger & Danielson to exchange holds that lead to Liger hitting a tombstone for a near fall early in the match as Styles broke it up and tried finishing off Danielson with a Styles Clash only the pin was too close to the ropes. AJ & Liger engaged one on one for awhile until Danielson returned and was thought to have it won as he had Liger in the LaBell Lock, Styles breaking it up with a vicious sling shot leg drop, throwing Danielson over the top rope before scoring the pin on Liger after a Styles Clash!

EXODUS: CHAPTER 2, STEEN-V-MASCARAS & UPDATES!

With Exodus: Chapter 1 in the books, and the road to crowning the 1st Exodus Champion beginning as AJ Styles is the 1st of 12 wrestlers that has earned entry into the upcoming one night tournament for the championship! Many promotions just add names to a tournament/Battleroyal, or whatever means to crown their champion, but Exodus wants the tournament competitors to earn their spot in this tournament not only to build a legacy but to truly add prestige to the Exodus Championship!

On May 11, Riverside, CA at the Municipal Auditorium, Exodus: Chapter 2, Steen-V-Mascaras! The card will be shown live on Fite PPV, and promises to be just as good as Chapter 1, if not better! Matches signed as follows!

AUSTIN AIRES -1/20- CHRISTOPHER DANIELS
At Exodus: Chapter 1 Daniels surprised Aires after his quick defeat of Chaz Taylor, embarrassed him and now these 2 are set for one-on-one action! The winner of this match will get a Exodus Championship Tournament Qualifier against Sw3rve Strickland at Exodus: Chapter 3 on May 17 in San Jose!

REdRAGON -1/20- DREW GULAK & BIFF BUSICK
Even though the team of Gulak/Busick came up on the short end of the match at Exodus: Chapter 1 they came very close to defeating a top team in WGTT! ReDragon 2 members of the Undisputed Era threw down the challenge to the new but struggling team of Gulak/Busick, another test for this new team can they pass? Or will they get another loss?

BRIAN CAGE-1/20- RICOCHET w/Konnan
Brian Cage rejecting an obvious challenge from the Bad Dude of Exodus, has signed to take on yet another rival, Ricochet! Ricochet has beaten Cage before and will have the Lucha Legend Konnan in his corner for yet another showdown with the Machine! The winner of Cage-V-Ricochet will face the winner of Rob Van Dam-V-Romero in a Exodus Championship Qualifier in San Jose!

ROB VAN DAM -1/20- ROMERO w/Konnan
Romero, Homicide, and now Ricochet along with mentor Konnan makes up the Rottweilers! At Exodus: Chapter 1 the Rottweilers (Homicide & Romero) threw out a challenge that the Extreme Legends RVD/Sabu answered quickly, even though the match ended in a wild double countout Riverside get a taste of this rivalry that’s simmering when RVD & Romero hook ‘em up in singles action with a Exodus Championship Tournament Qualifier on the line!

Ever since 1980 Ricky & Robert has not only dominated but set the standard of tag team excellence! Stokely Hathaway announced he had signed Lethal at Exodus: Chapter 1, Lethal made it clear he is done making others happy and has taken on Hathaway as his agent. McGuinness an outstanding star from Britain wants to show Lethal the error of his ways by giving him a quick loss as these 2 great stars battle for a spot in the upcoming Exodus Championship Tournament!

KEVIN STEEN -1/45- MIL MASCARAS
Kevin Steen has been called both Mr Wrestling & Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare. This Canadian is one of the best in this sport today and would like nothing more than to punch his ticket into the Exodus Championship Tournament! Mil Mascaras truly without a doubt the greatest luchador from Mexico bar-none! Steen has boasted that in Riverside not only does he plan on defending Mascaras but he plans on taking the legend’s signature and iconic mask!

Other Exodus news; Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon have been fined for the cowardly attack on former partner Barry Windham, Exodus has not taken away Blanchard’s Exodus Championship Qualifier Match in San Jose, however the opponent is still unknown! Barry Windham has suffered a severe leg injury and will be sidelined for up to 10 cards!

Taylor and The Bad Dude had a brief stair down, led to Ryan slapping Tito, the end result Tito over powering Ryan and ending the match fast after the F-5!
WINNER TITO ESCONDIDO (2:15)

As the PPV started Kevin Steen strolled to the ring and opening up the PPV addressing the fans on the horrible things that are waiting for Mil Mascaras, ensuring that tonight he’ll live up to the Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare nickname! After Steen’s opening promo A Double heads to the ring for tonight’s opening match! As Aires awaited the arrival of his opponent, you see CD in his hooded robe at the entrance set up on the venue’s stage back turned and arm stretched out words, the lights goes off…..

AUSTIN AIRES -1/20- CHRISTOPHER DANIELS
As the lights returned Daniels is in the ring, bell rings and the 2 wrestlers traded blows! During the match seated in the balcony is Sw3rve waiting to see who will face him in San Jose! CD took the early advantage locking in a Koji clutch and hitting the Angel’s Wings hoping to end it quickly, the toughness of Aires showed as he kicked out! Aires caught his opponent on the turnbuckle slamming him to the mat and started his comeback almost winning the match after a brain buster! Durning the match Sw3rve left his seat and came to ringside as Aires went to hit his Heat seeking missile only for CD to step to the side, Aires hit Sw3rve instead allowing Daniels to hit Aires with a suplex on the floor, throw him back in the ring and score a 2nd Angel’s Wings for the win!
WINNER CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (17:42)

As Aires leaves the ring we witness a brief stair down between Daniels & Sw3rve as they are set to fight for the chance to enter the Exodus Championship Tournament!

In the back you see AJ Styles and Jushin Liger as Bill Apter interviews the 2, they said they very much would like to face the winners of the Briscoe’s & The R-N-R match in San Jose! Jay Briscoe shows up says like the R-N-R they don’t want any of Dem Boyz!

REdRAGON -1/20- DREW GULAK & BIFF BUSICK
Busick & Gulak was in from control of this match having REDRAGON on the run until Adam Cole’s music plays ( no Adam Cole) distracting Busick allowing O’Reilly to use his Armageddon to score the victory!
WINNERS REDRAGON (7:31)

As Busick was nursing his arm Gulak was upset as this team is 0-2, As ReDragon was up on stage watching Gulak yell at Busick….Roderick Strong hits the ring, the 3 members of the Undisputed Era was attacking Gulak & Busick until Orange Cassidy shows up evening up the odds as the 6 wrestlers brawled to the back! In the back after the Exodus officials and security broke up this fight, a trios match is now set as the Undisputed Era will face the team of Busick, Gulak, and Cassidy In Sacramento on May 21! You see Konnan with Ricochet and Romero talking strategy for their matches tonight as Bill Apter asks Konnan about the possibility of 2 of his pupils fighting in San Jose if they win their matches tonight! Konnan replied “ we’ll cross that bridge when we get there homey!” Konnan and Ricochet heads to the ring. As Ricochet and his mentor waits for his opponent As Cage walked out
The Machine noticed Tito Escondido sitting at ringside for this match and had another stair down with him!

WINNER FACES WINNER OF RVD/ROMERO IN SAN JOSE
BRIAN CAGE -1/20- RICOCHET w/Konnan
As the bell rang Cage over powered Ricochet until a mistimed European uppercut that almost cost Cage the match. Ricochet kept up his offense scoring another near fall after a 630 senton. The brash Ricochet tried another dive to the outside only for him to miss his target allowing Cage to take over on offense until Escondido jumped over the guardrail, Konnan distracting the referee allowing Homicide to smash a chair over Cage’s head setting up Ricochet to hit another 630 Senton for the win!
WINNER RICOCHET (14:32)

As Ricochet, Homicide, & Konnan left to the back, Escondido smiled down at the fallen Machine, then delivered an F-5 to Cage before leaving! Tully Blanchard w/ JJ Dillon strolls to the ring as Blanchard gave a promo as to why he took out Barry Windham, why he feels that the demise of the Horsemen opens the way for The Tully Blanchard Enterprises to step up and dominate without weak links. As he went on about not knowing who he is facing in San Jose…..Wildthing plays and Jon Moxley shows up in the balcony and that they will fight and spill blood in San Jose!

WINNER FACES RICOCHET IN SAN NOSE
ROB VAN DAM -1/20- ROMERO w/Konnan
The 2 wrestlers kept the match even until RVD landed his 5 Star Frog Splash, Romero shockingly kick out of but it didn’t take long after that for RVD to execute his 5 Star Frog Splash a second time for the win!
WINNER ROB VAN DAM (9:21)
RVD celebrates as the event heads into the 30 minute intermission. During the intermission Exodus announced returns to the Riverside Municipal Auditorium on June 14, and Los Angeles’ Globe Theater on June 18!

WINNERS FACE STYLES/LIGER IN SAN JOSE’S MAIN EVENT
THE ROCK-N-ROLL EXPRESS -1/30- JAY & MARK BRISCOE
The 2 team exchanged in the code of honor and began a classic tag team match that was down the middle with offense until Robert had Jay in the Gibson Leg Lock when it looked like Jay was going to tap out Mark broke up the move and all 4 men brawled throughout the RMA, the referee didn’t use a DQ or a count but was able to get the match back in the ring. After the brawl the Briscoe’s had control used a Doomsday Device on Ricky but only got a 2 count, not long after Mark hit his CutThroat Driver for the win!
WINNERS JAY & MARK BRISCOE (21:14)

After the match the 2 teams exchanged in another code of honor embracing before each team left for the dressing room area. In the back Bill Apter caught up with Mil Mascaras for his thoughts on tonight’s main event match with Kevin Steen, his response was he’s hoping to have Mr Wrestling not Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare as his opponent, and either way it’ll be an honor to be in the ring tonight. Stokely Hathaway came to the ring and properly announced Jay Lethal to the ring! Before McGuinness would make his way to the ring Bryan Danielson made his way to the announcer’s table to call this match.

EXODUS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER
JAY LETHAL w/Stokely Hathaway -1/30- NIGEL MCGUINNESS
This match broke down fast as both wrestlers would not keep the match in the ring! As the brawl came over to the announcer’s table you could sense the tension between McGuinness & Danielson as Lethal pushed McGuinness into Danielson the 3 wrestlers brawled to the back leaving the referee to throw out the match!
NO CONTEST (12:01)

After security and officials broke up the brawl, both McGuinness and Lethal wants their rematch and it’ll happen in Sacramento, no wrestlers or seconds allowed at ringside for the rematch! Mariachi band enters the ringside area bringing in the Lucha Legend; Mil Mascaras. As The mariachi leaves ringside, Kevin Steen made his entrance, and Gary Michael Cappetta made the formal introduction for tonight‘s main event!

MAIN EVENT EXODUS CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER
KEVIN STEEN -1/45- MIL MASCARAS
Mascaras tried to do the code of honor but Steen wouldn’t have it as he and the Lucha icon exchanged punches and moves at the start. Both wrestlers had chances to win the match but the will of both men were strong even when it reached the 40 minute mark. It took a low blow and the dreaded Package Piledriver from Steen to finally pick up the victory!
WINNER KEVIN STEEN (42:28)

After the match both wrestlers are spent and exhausted after this grueling match both Steen and Mascaras got up, what looked like Steen was going to exchange in a code of honor, he throws Mascaras over the top rope, rams him head 1st into the ringpost, and then he takes the iconic mask off, before Mascaras’ face can be revealed Ricochet & Escondido ran to Mascaras’ aid and covers his face! As Steen was leaving he stopped at the entrance and holds the mask up high as it was a major trophy as you see the Exodus logo and to dark…….

Riverside played host to Exodus: Chapter 2 and the sold out crowd witnessed the 42 minute classic between Kevin Steen and Mil Mascaras, with Steen winning and removing the iconic mask of Mascaras! I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of this rivalry! Steen became the 2nd to qualify for the upcoming Exodus Championship Tournament that’ll be scheduled to be held in Las Vegas on June 8! With Lethal & McGuinness ending in a no contest they both are eliminated from qualifying for the tournament! A match to fill that spot will be determined in Seattle on June 4!
