So, with the move into the new house I have been able to pull some stuff out of boxes and put it on display in the "game room". Here are a few things are now on display...yes, that is a Filsinger Games coffee mug, with the web address of the original Filger Games website! And yes, that is the original art for Death Knight II drawn by Randy Bugdale. AND YES that is the prototype "Wolf Action Figure" that has been mentioned on "The Roll Up"; he unfortunately had a rough time in a few moves over the years, but now is likely where he will be hanging out for the foreseeable future.

Very cool collection! I am super-jealous! I don't remember seeing the coffee mug in the store before! I do still have one of the baseball caps, so that's not too bad. Cool that the old website (www.gwfwrestling.com) is on the mug! But was is the " DEEP NUT..." book next to the Wolf action figure? Sounds "naughty", haha! Todd C WTIC

Todd C WTIC I meant to reply to this a long time ago... AS for the coffee mug, I don't know if it was ever in the store...definitely not on the newer sights. I want to say I got it back at one of the early 1990 GCons. AND if you look close at it, it is NOT the "www.gwfwrestling.com" website, it is the EVEN EARLIER original GWF website at "www.iop.com/gwf"!!!!! Now that's going WAY BACK! Still have the ball cap too...might need to pull it out and add it to the shelf as well. ----- Sooooo, the "Deep Nut" book, the ACTUAL title is "Deep Nutrition". My younger son got it for me after he read it (actually he got a copy for each member of the family, but I am fairly confident that he is the only one who really follows the advice in it...we try, but not as much as he does). When I told him what you posted, yeah he pretty much died laughing...so did the better half when I told her.

Thanks for answering on the Deep Nut thing, LOL! It was buggin' me! Yeah that GWF website is before my time! I started my online presence around 2000 when the local malls had free online computers. I will have to do a search on archive.org to see what I can find for that older site! Todd C WTIC

I started my online presence around 2000 when the local malls had free online computers. I will have to do a search on archive.org to see what I can find for that older site! My first real "experience" with the internet was ~1995 and I would say that Tom went online a few years later. I remember when I learn some basic HTML (which I have completely forgotten...not that I remember any of the coding stuff I learned way back then...never used it, so it was purged from the ol'brian's memory banks...well at least from the easily accessible memory banks...) I created a prototype site that I sent to Tom on 3.5" floppy disk. Of course, the design he went with was nothing like what I sent, but the smart businessman he was knew he needed a web-presence and that "iop.com/gwf" site was the first. If you find anything on archive.org it would be cool to see it.

I searched archive.org, but no luck. A bunch of dead links. I know a bunch of HTML stuff, and JavaScript as well! Took a web design class not too long ago! One of my fave classes ever! Todd C WTIC

I used to know some very basic dos programming. Enough that I could go to Sears or K-Mart back in the day and have some message scroll down the screen. I could even do it in color if I wanted to take the extra time.

When my older brother got a Comodore64 (yes, dating myself badly with that statement) I learned a little bit of BASIC & it was how to make messages scroll on the screen!!! I think that might be the first thing everybody learned in BASIC...(Chuckles)
