I dunno why, but it has been a while since I logged onto the board & I wanted to say thanks to the UT Team for taking on the topic of collectables and collecting!
It was cool to get you take on the collectability of Filsinger Games and what you guys have collected.
AND, other than my affinity for Filsinger Games, I too have a comic book collection (very small and very specific recent titles), but my main collection is the assorted wizard and dragon pieces. I think at last count, there were over 150 pieces that are on display now that I am no longer moving around with the Air Force. There are still some that are in boxes but will see the light of day once we have all of the "enhancement" work done in the house. The majority of the collection are "Myth & Magic" pewter pieces that were put out in the 1990 - 2000's by the Tudor Mint. I am almost always on the lookout for Myth & Magic pieces, but also for "unique" takes on dragons and wizards...even the kids keep an eye out for them and holler at me when they see something interesting. I also have more than 15 different pieces of Mickey as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Fantasia. I know that I have not walked out of Disneyland or World on our visits without a new piece of him in that role.
