Would be interested in some of these cards if you don't mind shipping to the UK? Or if anyone on here purchases the cards pm me and maybe we could work something out ππ The lot of cards includes the first two official CWFH sets, both out of print and considered collectors items. Well worth the OPβs asking price. All the unofficial free boots and free LOW cards made this a steal. I concur with this. Not really sure why people called him out. Here's a big problem I see with this, other than the fact that the initial respondent calling out this promoter for using an eBay auction that included two OOP sets that are collector's items at this point - as there is, I assume, no plan to reprint them, is that we don't know if the promoter listing them paid for them from someone else. With the secondhand purchasing of cards that has picked up steam here over the last 18 months, whose to say that the seller wasn't just trying to get back what he put into them. I mean think of the prices we have seen on eBay. Theatre of Pain, two cards, B&W for COTG, were listed and sold for over $78 with shipping and tax. Nine months ago they were still available on the FG website, you just had to email Todd and he could tell you they were available. Cost: $4 plus shipping and tax, so less than $10. Again, the OP may have just been trying to make his money back on the sets that he purchased, not realizing that Grant sends them out for free. It's moot now, the promoter pulled the auction, but again, he shouldn't have had to, especially since the first two sets, which were sold on FG and are long since OOP, were well worth the price.

If it's a 'moot' point, why the post? Is it just attempt to shame Shane Sullivan and to a lesser degree patrick?

If it's a 'moot' point, why the post? Is it just attempt to shame Shane Sullivan and to a lesser degree patrick ? Really, @kevinb? My intent definitely was not to shame anyone, it was just to make a point that we don't know the whole story. This is not the first post that we have seen of people questioning the prices of items. I'm just saying we don't often know the whole story, is all. Do I think Nacho is worth $125, nope, I wouldn't pay that much for him, but if others are willing to do so, good for them. He's a rare and OOP card, much like the first two CWFH sets, that were included in this sale. We don't often know the whole story. The seller may have bought those cards from someone else who sold them, and as Swarm said, the two OOP sets made the sale a more than generous price. Maybe the seller was just trying to get back what they paid. It was moot because the seller felt he had to pull his sale down, but, imo he shouldn't have had to because he was basically giving the cards away with two rare sets, that are associated with it, and other Legends cards as well. Shane Sullivan and patrick, I apologize if it seemed like I was trying to shame you, it wasn't my intent.

My point was selling items that are free to download and print. That was ridiculous imho

To be as transparent as possible I would buy theatre of pain for that price. Right now if they were available
