CWF: Crowning A Champion 2
2/12/01 Chicago, ILL

*Tonight's show begins with Lance Russell giving the fans a rundown for the International Championship brackets for tonight eight-man tournament. In the opening round you will see Antonio Inoki vs. Buddy Rogers, Jimmy Snuka vs. Nick Bockwinkel, Mil Mascaras vs. Gorgeous George, and Rikidozan vs. The Sheik. Also, tonight The World Heavyweight Championship will be defended as champion Frank Gotch defends his title against The Destroyer.
*Upcoming Crowning A Champion 3 3/12/01 from Sioux Falls, SD. On that night we will crown the first CWF United States Champion in an eight-man tournament. Wrestlers to be in this tournament is still to be determined.
*Tonight, in the CWF press booth is Lance Russell, our head referee is Morgan Dollar, our ring announcer is Gary Michael Cappetta, and at ring side for photos is Dr. Mike Lano.

1.) Antonio Inoki* vs. Buddy Rogers 1 fall no time limit
*Buddy Rogers wins by tap out at 4:11 with figure four grapevine
*Before Buddy Rogers leaves the ring, he tells Inoki that he is not on his level.

2.) Jimmy Snuka* vs. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan 1 fall no time limit
*Nick Bockwinkel wins by tap out at 0:43 with Bockwinkel sleeper
*Before the match Jimmy Snuka is attacked by Gorgeous George with serval steel chair shots to the back and head.
*Jimmy refused medical help after the attack and went to the ring for his match. But the attack was too much for Jimmy as it played a role in his loss to Bockwinkel.
*Jimmy Snuka is helped to the locker by CWF staff after the match.

3.) Mil Mascaras vs. Gorgeous George** with Socal Val 1 fall no time limit
*Mil Mascaras wins by pin at 2:15 with crossbody attack
*After the match Mil Mascaras and Socal Val share insults with each other due to Socal slapping Mascaras in the face last week.
*As Gorgeous George is walking back to the locker room Jimmy Snuka runs out at attacks him.
*Jimmy Snuka has to be pulled off of George by CWF officials

*Jimmy Snuka goes to the press booth to talk to Lance Russell. He tells Lance that we are only two weeks away from him getting his hands on George inside a steel cage. Jimmy reminds everyone that the loser of that match will be out of wrestling for 90 days.
*Lance Russell reminds the fans that the match between Jimmy Snuka and Gorgeous George will be 2/26/01 in Minneapolis, MN. As Jimmy said it will be in a steel cage with the loser being out of wrestling for 90 days.

4.) Rikidozan** vs. The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall no time limit
*Rikidozan wins by DQ at 4:07 after The Sheik hits him repeatedly with a chair.
*The Sheik and Abdullah Farouk go to the press booth. Farouk says this International Championship means nothing to his group "Terror". All that matters is causing terror in the CWF.
*The Sheik sends a warning to Sandman. He tells him next week in Milwaukee 2/19/01 will be his last day in wrestling. He says Sandman should have never signed to fight The Sheik

5.) Buddy Rogers***** vs. Nick Bockwinkel* with Bobby Heenan 1 fall no time limit
*Nick Bockwinkel wins by tap out at 8:44 with figure four leglock

6.) Mil Mascaras vs. Rikidozan**** 1 fall no time limit
*Mil Mascaras wins by tap out at 3:09 with octopus hold
*After the match Mil Mascaras help Rikidozan to his feet and both men shake hands as a sign of respect to each other.

*Harley Race goes the press booth. Harley Race tells Lance Russell and the fans in Chicago that is does not matter who wins the World Championship match tonight. He will challenge the winner after the match is over. Harley Race goes and sits at ringside.

7.) CWF World Heavyweight Championship: Frank Gotch vs. The Destroyer** 1 fall 60min
*Frank Gotch wins by tap out at 1:42 with Gotch toehold
*After the match Harley Race gets into the ring and challenges Frank Gotch to a future world title match.
*Frank Gotch accepts Harley's challenge.
*The two men stand face to face in the center of the ring while Dr. Mike Lano takes photos.

8.) CWF International Championship: Mil Mascaras vs. Nick Bockwinkel**** with Bobby Heenan 1 fall no time limit
*Nick Bockwinkel wins by DQ at 6:24
*The match ends after Harley Race comes to the ring and distracts referee Morgan Dollar. While Morgan is distracted Bobby Heenan throws an object into the ring that Mil Mascaras picks up. When the Morgan turns back to the action Nick Bockwinkel throws himself to the mat and Morgan sees the object in Mascaras hand and DQ's him. Morgan Dollar awards the International Championship to Nick Bockwinkel
*Harley Race and Bobby Heenan grab Bockwinkel and help him to the locker room. Though there is nothing wrong with him.
*Mil Mascaras goes to the press booth and tells Lance Russell that he will be filing a protest. Lance agrees that he should do so.
*Lance Russell calls Morgan Dollar to the press booth and shows him the video of what happened. Morgan is mad at himself for missing that one. But he tells Lance Russell that all in ring decisions in CWF are final as per our bi laws.

*Backstage Mil Marcaras protests the results of the championship match.
*CWF official tell Mil Marcaras that the result is final. But due to the video footage CWF will order Nick Bockwinkel defend the International Championship against Mil Mascaras in his first title defense.
*CWF will be coming to Dever, CO 3/26/01 and have signed for the main event that night to be for the International Championship. Champion Nick Bockwinkel will defend against Mil Mascaras.
*CWF is in Milwaukee next week 2/19/01. That night Ray Stevens makes his CWF debut. King Kong Buddy will be in action. Giant Baba will be in a rematch from their 2/5/01 match with Ox Baker. The Road Warrors will take on The Valiant Brother. Just signed Rikidozan vs. Buddy Rogers. In our semi-main event Sandman will fight The Sheik. And our main event Bobo Brazil, Brickhouse Brown, and Thunderbolt Patterson will face Johnny Valentine and the CWF World Tag Team Champions Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake. Thank you joebreakdown and neilybob for the comments. I started this fed a few months ago and wasn't playing very often. I thought I would type out what I have for results to get back into it. I've always taken small notes for story but typing it out really helps expand my notes. And I'm enjoying typing this out. Thanks again for the comments.

2/19/01 Milwaukee, WI

*Lance Russell starts the show by giving the Milwaukee fans a rundown of the nights action. He tells them that tonight you will see Ray Stevens make his CWF debut. King Kong Buddy will be in action. In a rematch from their 2/5/01 match Giant Baba will face Ox Baker. In a tag team show down The Road Warriors will face The Valiant Brothers. The last time these two teams met, on 1/1/01, Hawk and Animal won by pin at 1:59. Also tonight our semi-main event will be Sandman vs. The Sheik. And in our main event Bobo Brail, Brickhouse Brown, and Thunderbolt Patterson will take on Jimmy Hart's first family. All that and much more tonight.

Abdullah also warns Sandman not come to the ring tonight because The Sheik is looking to end him tonight.

2.) Jake Milliman* vs. Ray Stevens with Bobby Heenan 1 fall 20min
*Ray Stevens wins by pin at 1:20 with bombs away
*Bobby Heenan goes to the press booth. He tells Lance Russell that since Nick Bockwinel one the CWF International Championship, Ray Stevens will now be entered into the U.S. tournament on 3/12/01. And Harley Race will get his World Heavyweight title match in the semi-main event on that some night.

*Killer Kowalski goes to ring side.

3.) King Kong Buddy vs. Kenny Jay 1 fall 20min
*King Kong Buddy wins by pin at 2:29 with avalanche
*King Kong Buddy tries getting Killer Kowalski into the ring. But Killer waves him off and leaves.

4.) Giant Baba vs. Ox Baker 1 fall 20min
*Giant Baba wins by DQ at 0:00 after Ox Baker attacks Baba with a chair before the match starts.
*Ox Baker hits Baba repeatedly after the match is called.
*Rikidozan runs to the ring and Ox Baker quickly leaves.

*WOW World Champion Mildred Burke is in the press booth with Lance Russell. Mildred talks about her first title defense next week in Minneapolis on 2/26/01. She says that she respects Sherri Martel, but she wants to beat her,

*After Rikidozan recovers he challenges Rogers to another match. Rikidozan wants to enter the U.S title tournament on 3/12. Rikidozan also wants to face Buddy Rogers in the first round of the tournament.

7.) Sandman vs. The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall 30min
*Sandman with by DQ at 1:21 after The Sheik throws at fire ball at Sandman.
*Sandman is quickly taken to a local hospital with burns on his face.

*Lance Russell opens the show by giving the Minneapolis fans a rundown of the nights action. Tonight, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff will seek to make up for their loss on 2/5/01 as they face S.D. Jones and Johnny Rodz. Both The Destroyer and Giant Baba will be in action. One half of the CWF World Tag Team Champions Greg Valentine will take on Mike Dibiase. Tonight, in a match that was originally scheduled to be a tag team match has now changed to a singles match as Red Bastien takes on Sabu. The WOW World Championship will be on the line as champion Mildred Burke defends against Sherri Martel. The semi-main event will be a No DQ match as King Kong Bundy seeks revenge against Killer Kowalski. And our main event tonight will be in a steel cage as Jimmy Snuka looks for payback as he goes one-on-one with Gorgeous George. The loser of tonight's main event will be out of wrestling for 90 days.

*The match starts quickly and ends just a quick after Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff jump Jones and Rodz before the bell.
*Nikita Breznikov grabs a microphone and says Jones and Rodz are worthless. He hands the microphone to Nikolai Volkoff who sings the Russian national anthem to loud boos from the crowd.

2.) The Destroyer vs. George South 1 fall 20min
*The Destroyer wins by tap out at 1:44 with figure four leglock
*The Destroyer goes to the press booth and talks with Lance Russell. The Destroyer says he wasn't focused like he should have been in his recent loss to Frank Gotch. But he is going to get back on truck. He is going to enter himself in the United States title tournament on 3/12/01.

*Ox Baker comes to ringside for the next match.

3.) Giant Baba vs. Kenny Jay** 1 fall 20min
*Giant Baba wins by pin at 4:32 with neck breaker drop
*Ox Baker stands on the ring apron mocking Baba over what went down last week in Milwaukee (see 2/19/01)
*Giant Baba Challenges Ox Baker to get into the ring and face him.
*Ox Baker steps down to the floor.
*Giant Baba takes a microphone and challenges Baker to match next week in Fargo.

*S.D. Jones is in the press booth with Lance Russell. Jones apologizes to the fans for losing to Sheik and Volkoff like he did. Jones challenges Iron Sheik to a one-on-one match next week in Fargo.

4.) Greg Valentine** with Jimmy Hart vs. Mike Dibiase* 1 fall 20min
*Greg Valentine wins by pin at 10:21 with falling elbow hammer
*Jimmy Hart runs to the press booth after the match. He tells Lance Russell that this result will be the same in Omaha on 3/19/01 when the Tag Champions face The Dibase's again. Jimmy yells the Valentine and Beefcake are going to be champions forever.
*Greg Valentine joins Hart and Russell in the press booth. He says that it doesn't matter if it's The Dibase's hometown. Beefcake and himself will defeat them on 3/19/01.
*Jimmy Hart says that next week in Fargo Beefcake gets Ted Dibase one-on-one. And Beefcake will get his win back from 1/29/01 in St. Louis.

5.) Red Bastien** with Billy Red Lyons vs. Sabu with Rob Van Dam 1 fall 20min
*Red Bastien wins by DQ at 3:15 after Sabu does an Arabian face buster
*Rob Van Dam and Sabu attack Billy Red Lyons after the match while Red Bastien is still down from the face buster.
*Billy Red Lyons suffers from a broken rib during the attack.
*Doctors inform CWF later in the night that Lyons will miss over a month of in ring action.

6.) WOW World Championship: Mildred Burke* vs. Sherri Martel****** 1 fall 60min
*Mildred Burke wins by pin at 12:12 with knee to the face
*Before the match starts Fabulous Moolah attacked Mildred Burke from behind. This action almost cast Burke the match early on. But Burke was able to overcome it to defeat Martel.
*Mildred Burke grabs a microphone and calls out Moolah for the pre match attack.
*The Fabulous Moolah come out and demands a title match from Burke. She says that until she gets a title match, she will attack Burke from behind every time Burke is in a arena.
*Mildred Burke says that if Moolah wants a title match, she can have one.

7.) No DQ: King Kong Bundy vs. Killer Kowalski**** with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall no time limit
*King Kong Bundy wins by pin at 5:01 with an avalanche
*Both Rob Van Dam and Sabu got involved at different times during the match, but Bundy was able to overcome the odds.
*After the match Bundy invites RVD and Sabu to get into the ring and fight him but they both blow off Bundy and help Kowalski to the locker room.
*King Kong Bundy goes to the press booth and tells Lance Russell that his fight with "Terror" is far from over and if Red Bastien wants to team with him to fight "Terror" he would be happy to join forces with him.

8.) Steel Cage Match/ loser is out of wrestling for 90 days: Jimmy Snuka vs. Gorgeous George with Socal Val
*Jimmy Snuka wins by escape at 4:06 after a superfly leap from the top of the cage.
*After the match Socal Val screams at Snuka that she will get him for this. Jimmy just response by waving goodbye to George.
*Jimmy Snuka goes to the press booth to talk with Lance Russell. Jimmy says he is going to miss George while he is gone. Jimmy also says that he is putting his name into the 8-man tournament for the U.S. title.

*Gorgeous George is out of wrestling for 90 days and cannot return until 5/26/01
*Signed for next week 3/5/01 in Fargo, ND Mil Mascaras and Harley Race will be in action. As put out earlier S.D. Jones will face Iron Sheik. Red Bastien will meet Rob Van Dam, Beefcake vs. Ted Dibase, and Giant Baba vs. Ox Baker. In the semi-main event, The Road Warriors will for a third time face The Valiant Brothers. And our main event will be Bobo Brazil against Johnny Valentine. For this one is allowed at ring side and if anyone interferes, they will be fired on the spot.

This is a rematch from the international title tournament finals at Crowning A Champion 2 in Chicago on 2/12/01. That match saw Mil Mascaras DQ'ed after some underhanded tricks from Bobby Heenan, Harley Race, and Nick Bockwinkel.
*And 3/19/01 CWF will be in Omaha. That night the CWF World Tag Team Championship will be defend as champions Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake will face Mike and Ted Dibase. *Lance Russell opens the show by giving the Fargo fans a rundown of the nights action. Tonight, Mil Mascaras and Harley Race will be in action. S.D. Jones looks for payback when he takes on the Iron Sheik. Red Bastien will look for revenge against one of the men who injured his partner, Billy Red Lyons, when he faces Rob Van Dam. Ted Dibiase will face one half of the CWF World Tag Team Champion Brutus Beefcake. For the third time meeting Giant Baba will wrestle Ox Baker. In the semi-main event, The Road Warriors face The Valiant Brothers. And, in tonight's main event Bobo Brazil vs. Johnny Valentine. For the main event no one is allowed at ring side and if anyone interferes, they will be fired on the spot.
*As reminder next week 3/12/01 Crowning A Champion 3 comes your way from Sioux Falls, SD as we will crown our first United States Champion in an 8-man tournament. Seven of the eight wrestlers have been signed for the tournament and by the end of the show tonight we will have our eighth wrestler signed and opening round matches booked.

*Bobby Heenan tells Lance Russell that tonight Bockwinkel and himself will get a good look and Mascaras to better be prepared for our match coming up. And, right after the Mascaras match the future World Champion Harley Race will be in action.
*Nick Bockwinkel and Bobby Heenan stay in the press booth with Lance Russell for the opening match.

1.) Mil Mascaras vs. Kenny Jay 1 fall 20min
*Mil Mascaras wins by pin at 2:51 with flying body press
*After the match Mil Mascaras goes to the press booth to join Russell, Bockwinkel, and Heenan. Mil tells Bockwinkel that he cheated him last time they faced. And, that he was clearly winning the contest before Heenan and Race helped him. Mil says he has asked head referee Morgan Dollar to assign two referees for their meeting on 3/26/01 to make sure he is not cheated this time.
*Nick Bockwinkel tells Mil Mascaras that it won't matter if there is one hundred referees the result will be the same. Your winner and still International Champion Nick Bockwinkel. Nick holds the International up to Mil's face before Mil walks off to the locker room.

2.) Frogman Leblanc vs. Harley Race with Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel 1 fall 20min
*Harley Race wins by pin at 0:28 with vertical suplex
*Harley Race grabs a microphone and cuts a promo on how he is a better wrestler and man than Frank Gotch. And, how next week in Sioux Falls he will become the CWF World Heavyweight Champion.
*Bobby Heenan takes the mic from Race. He says that after next week Race will be World Champion, Bockwinkel will be International Champion, and Ray Stevens will be the United States Champion.

3.) S.D. Jones vs. Iron Sheik with Nikita Breznikov 1 fall 20min
*S.D. Jones wins by DQ at 1:00 after Iron Sheik hits him with the steel steps outside of the ring.
*After the match Iron Sheik beats down Jones and puts him in the camel clutch.
*CWF officials come to the ring to force Iron Sheik to let go of the hold.
*Iron Sheik waves the Iranian flag as he and Breznikov walk to the locker room.

4.) Red Bastien***** vs. Rob Van Dam with Abdullah Farouk and Sabu 1 fall 20min
*Red Bastien wins by DQ at 1:33 after RVD repeatedly does the Van Daminator with a chair.
*After the match RVD and Sabu mock Red Bastien, who is down and hurt, before leaving with Abdullah Farouk to go to the locker room
*Backstage head referee Morgan Dollar asks the referee for the Bastien vs. RVD match why he allowed RVD to do so many Van Daminators with a chair before he stopped the match. There was no good explanation given.

*S.D. Jones goes to the press booth to join Lance Russell. Jons tells Russell that he has talked with CWF officials and match makers. And, he has gotten Johnny Rodz and himself some dates with Iron Sheik and Volkoff. On 3/19/01 in Omaha Johnny Rodz will go one-on-one with Nikolai Volkoff. Then on 3/26/01 in Denver Rodz and himself will face Iron Sheik and Volkoff in tag team action. S.D. Jones says he plans to put an end to this feud.

5.) Ted Dibiase* vs. Brutus Beefcake with Jimmy Hart 1 fall 30min
*Brutus Beefcake wins by pin at 10:01 with jumping high knee
*After the match Jimmy Hart and Brutus Beefcake go to the press booth. Jimmy Hart tells Lance Russell that like last week with Greg Valentine defeating Mike Dibase this week Beefcake beat Ted. And, on 3/19/01 in Omaha the results will be the same. His men on top and still World Tag Team Champion baby!
*Brutus Beefcake says that Ted beat him once before. Then in their tag team match last time we were in Omaha it ended in a DDQ. But now this time around he is the one with his hand raised and in Omaha on 3/19/01 Greg and himself will still be the champs.

6.) Giant Baba vs. Ox Baker 1 fall 30min
*Ox Baker wins by tap out at 1:43 with grinding bear hug.
*Giant Baba stays down after the match until doctors come to the ring to check on him. Baba points towards his back and says he heard a pop. Giant Baba is helped to the locker room
*Ox Baker goes to the press booth and gloats to Lance Russell that he took out Giant Baba.

7.) Hawk & Animal* with Paul Ellring vs. Johnny Valiant** & Jimmy Valiant with Captain Lou Albano 1 fall 30min
*DDQ at 6:39 after the two teams go to the floor and a wild brawl gets out of hand.
*The two teams, after the bell is called, fight though the crowd and to the backstage area.
*Both Captain Lou Albano and Paul Ellring get into a fight in the locker room area.

*The on-site Doctor reports to CWF officials that Giant Baba has strained he back and will be out of action for a couple of months.
*In the main event tonight. No one is allowed at ring side and if anyone interferes CWF official will fire that person on the spot regardless of who they are.

8.) Bobo Brazil **** vs. Johnny Valentine 1 fall 45min

*Johnny Valentine goes to the press booth after the win. He tells Lance Russell that he wins the feud with Brazil. Johnny says that he will be in Sioux Fall next week but not as one of the eight in the tournament. He will be there to challenge the winner of the tournament.

*All eight slots are filled, and matches booked for Crowning A Champion 3 in Sioux Falls next week. The matches are as followed Ray Stevens vs. Thunderbolt Patterson, Rikidozan vs. Buddy Rogers, Antonio Inoki vs. Jimmy Snuka, and The Destroyer vs. Ox Baker. Ox Baker was signed to be in the tournament after Johnny Valentine stated that he would not be in it. And CWF officials were impressed by Ox's win over Giant Baba tonight.
*Also, on the card for next week in Sioux Falls the CWF World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as champion Frank Gotch takes on Harley Race. If you remember these two men stole the show on 1/1/01 at Crowning A Champion night 1 in Des Moines.
*We will be in Omaha on 3/19/01. On that night the CWF World Tag Team Championship will be defended as champions Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake face Omaha's own Mike and Ted Dibase in a rematch from the last time we were in Omaha on 2/5/01. Also, that night Brickhouse Brown will make his singles debut. WOW wrestlers Trish Stratus will face Sherri Martel. In a no DQ match Sandman will fight The Sheik. And just signed The Road Warriors will take on The Valiant Brothers. So far, The Road Warriors leads there three matches 2-0-1.
*On 3/26/01 CWF goes to Denver, CO. That night there will be two title matches as the International and WOW World title will be defended. International Champion Nick Bockwinkel put the belt on the line against Mil Mascaras. And WOW World Champion Mildred Burke defends against her revival The Fabulous Moolah.

Sioux Fall, SD 3/12/01

*Lance Russell opens the show by giving the fans a rundown of the nights action. He informs them that this is Crowning A Champion III for the CWF United States Championship. He tells them the following wrestlers are in the U.S. tournament tonight. They are as followed, Ray Steven, Thunderbolt Patterson, Rikidozan, Buddy Rogers, Antonio Inoki, Jimmy Snuka, The Destroyer, and Ox Baker. All tournament matches will have no time limits tonight.

1.) Ray Stevens* with Bobby Heenan vs. Thunderbolt Patterson 1 fall no time limit
*Ray Stevens wins by DQ at 3:09 after Patterson pushes the referee out of his way to get at Ray Stevens
*Thunderbolt Patterson is upset with himself for losing control like he did. He goes to the press booth and apologizes to the crowd for how the match ended.

2.) Rikidozan** vs. Buddy Rogers with Socal Val 1 fall no time limit
*Buddy Rogers wins by pin at 3:46 with pin using ropes
*Rikidozan protest to the referee after the match telling him Rogers was using the ropes.

3.) Antonio Inoki** vs. Jimmy Snuka*** 1 fall no time limit
*Antonio Inoki wins by tap out at 10:37 with octopus hold
*Both men shake hands after the match

*Socal Val comes out the press booth. Lance Russell gives her a microphone. Socal tells Jimmy Snuka that payback is coming for his match with Gorgeous George on 2/26/01 in Minneapolis. She tells him that Buddy Rogers and herself will make his life awful in the weeks to come.
*Jimmy Snuka just waves Socal off as he passes by the press booth.

4.) The Destroyer** vs. Ox Baker** 1 fall no time limit
*The Destroyer wins by DQ at 4:05 after Ox hits him with a chair outside the ring.
*After the DQ Ox hits The Destroyer serval more times with the chair until Rikidozan runs to the ring to chase Ox off.
*Ox and Rikidozan yell insults at each other as Ox is walking backwards towards the locker room.

5.) Ray Stevens**** with Bobby Heenan vs. Buddy Rogers* with Socal Val 1 fall no time limit
*Ray Stevens wins by DQ at 13:08 after Socal hits Ray Stevens low
*Socal protest the outcome.
*Bobby Heenan give Socal some advice. He tells her to only cheat when the referee's back is turned.
*Socal and Buddy Rogers go to the press booth. Buddy Rogers issues a challenge to Jimmy Snuka for next week.
*Jimmy Snuka comes out and accepts Rogers challenge.

6.) The Destroyer*** vs. Antonio Inoki**** 1 fall no time limit
*The Destroyer wins by pin at 3:16 with Bombs Away

*CWF officials make a statement that on 4/2/01 in Albuquerque, NM Jimmy Snuka will face Buddy Rogers one on one.

7.) CWF World Heavyweight Championship: Frank Gotch****** vs. Harley Race****** with Bobby Heenan 1 fall 60min
*Frank Gotch wins by tap out at 21:17 with Gotch Toehold
*After the match both men are bleeding badly and need help to the locker room.
*All ring side reporters say this is the best match in CWF so far this year.

*Johnny Valentine comes to sit at ringside before the start of the next match

8.) CWF United States Championship: The Destroyer** vs. Ray Stevens***** with Bobby Heenan
*Ray Stevens wins by DQ at 2:25 after he hits Ray with an object Bobby Heenan throws in the ring.
*Johnny Valentine gets into the ring to challenge Ray Stevens for the U.S. title. But The Destroyer pushes Valentine down and the two men get into a fight.
*CWF officials separate the two men.
*While the fight is going on Ray Stevens and Bobby Heenan quickly leave with the title.

*CWF officials sign The Destroyer vs. Johnny Valentine for 3/26/01 in Denver.

Omaha, NB 3/19/01

*Lance Russell opens the show from the CWF press booth in Omaha. Lance gives a rundown of the nights action. He says the main event tonight is for the CWF World Tag Team Championship. As the champions Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine will defend against Omaha's own Mike and Ted Dibiase. The crowd in Omaha gives a big pop for the Dibiase's.

1.) Johnny Rodz** vs. Nikolai Volkoff with Nikita Breznikov 1 fall 20min
*DDQ at 5:18
*The match ends after the two men brawl outside the ring. During the brawl Iron Sheik and S.D. Jones run out and join in the fight. Due to this the referee throws the match out.
*Later in the event CWF would put out a statement that these two teams will meet next week in Denver.

2.) BrickHouse Brown vs. Kenny Jay 1 fall 20min
*BrickHouse Brown wins by pin at 1:03 with a Fist Drop
*Brown joins Russell in the press booth. He tells Russell that he wants to move up in the ranks in CWF and he has his sights on the CWF U.S title.

3.) WOW Wrestling: Trish Stratus vs. Sherri Martel* 1 fall 20min
*Trish Stratus wins by pin at 0:51 with stratus faction
*Trish grabs a microphone and calls out WOW World Champion Mildred Burke for a title match.
*Mildred, who was in the locker room because of a WOW match on the card, comes out. Mildred tells Trish she will be next in line for a title shot.

4.) King Kong Buddy & Red Bastien* & Jimmy Snuka vs. Killer Kowalski & Sabu & Rob Van Dam with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall 30min
*King Kong Buddy, Red Bastien, Jimmy Snuka wins by DQ at 0:57
*The match ends after RVD does a Van Daminator on Bastien
*CWF officials quickly rush the ring to prevent a brawl from starting after the match ends.
*CWF officials fine RVD for the move.

*CWF newcomer Tommy Rich is in the press booth with Lance Russell. Tommy talks about wanting to be a CWF champion.
*CWF newcomer Steve Corino comes to the press booth during Tommy's time. Steve says he is angry that CWF is giving Tommy time to talk about joining CWF and not him. Steve challenges Tommy to a match as soon as possible.
*Tommy accepts the challenge.

5.) Jake Millman* vs. Buddy Rogers with Socal Val 1 fall 20min
*Buddy Rogers wins by tap out at 1:08 with figure four grapevine
*Socal storms to the press booth after the match. She grabs a microphone from Russell and calls out Jimmy Snuka,
*Jimmy goes to the press booth as does Buddy Rogers.
*Jimmy and Rogers have a stair down while Socal insults Jimmy.
*When Socal is done insulting Jimmy, she grabs Rogers, and they leave.
*CWF official put out a statement after the show that Jimmy Snuka will face Buddy Rogers 4/2/01

6.) Hawk**** & Animal*** with Paul Ellring vs. Johnny Valent & Jimmy Valiant* with Lou Albano 1 fall 30min
*DDQ at 16:28
*The match is thrown out after a wild brawl outside the ring. The fight goes into the crowd and into the locker room
*CWF make a No DQ/No Count Out match for next week between the two teams

7.) No DQ: Sandman**** vs. The Sheik****** with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall no time limit
*The Sheik wins by tap out at 9:45 with the camel clutch
*Both men are bleeding badly after the match
*Sandman is taken to a local hospital with deep cuts on his head.
*Sandman puts out a press statement from the hospital that he wants The Sheik in a barbed wire glass death match.
*In a press statement from The Sheik he accepts the match
*CWF put out a statement that the match will take place in Chicago on 4/16/01

8.) CWF World Tag Team Championships: Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine* with Jimmy Hart vs. Ted Dibiase & Mike Dibiase
*Brutus Beefcake, Greg Valentine win by pin at 3:58
*The match ends after Greg pins Mike after a throat drop on the top rope
*The show ends with Mike Dibiase thanking the crowd for coming out and he says they'll get them next time.

*Lance Russell opens the show by giving a rundown of the night action. He lets the fans know the main event for this evening will be for the International Championship. As champion Nick Bockwinkel will defend against Mil Mascaras

1.) King Kong Buddy & Red Bastien****** vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall 20min
*King Kong Buddy & Red Bastien win by DQ at 7:24
*The match ends after RVD does the van daminator, which he was fined for last show, on Red.
*Note this is the fourth match that RVD and Sabu have been in with Red or Billy Red Lyons that has ended in a DQ, 2/26,3/5,3/19, and now 3/26.
*RVD and Sabu quickly leave after DQ laughing at Red
*After Red recovers he goes to the press booth to talk with Lance Russell. Red tells Lance he is tried and this DQ garbage with RVD and Sabu. He says he wants RVD one on one ASAP. He also tells the fans Billy Red Lyons will be back in action on 4/9. And, that they already have a contract to face RVD and Sabu in tag action.

2.) Bobo Brazil vs. George South 1 fall 20min
*Bobo Brazil wins by pin a 1:04 with coco butt

3.) S.D Jones & Johnny Rodz vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff
*Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff win by tap out at 2:46
*The match ends when Rodz taps to Sheik's camel clutch
*Iron Sheik and Volkoff go to the press booth. They cut an anti U.S promo which gets the crowd going.

*The match ends when Ox hits Rikidozan with a chair and then puts him though timekeepers table at ringside.
*Ox stands over Rikidozan calling him weak just like Giant Baba
*Inoki comes to the ring to run off Ox and check on Rikidozan. Inoki has words with Ox.
*CWF makes a match between Inoki and Ox for 4/9/01

5.) The Destroyer**** vs. Johnny Valentine*** with Jimmy Hart 1 fall 30min
*Johnny Valentine wins by pin at 9:29 with atomic skull crusher
*Jimmy Hart runs to the press booth after the match. Hart talks about how big of a win this is for Johnny.
*Johnny joins Hart in the booth. He says that he was going to challenge for the U.S title. But that no long interest him. He challenges Frank Gotch for the CWF World Championship.
*Jimmy Hart says he will get the contract for Johnny to face the World Champion

6.) No DQ/No Count Out: Hawk* & Animal with Paul Ellring vs. Johnny Valiant & Jimmy Valiant** with Lou Albano 1 fall 30min
*Hawk & Animal win by pin at 9:03
*The match ends after a doom's day device on Jimmy
*Paul Ellring goes to the press booth and calls out Jimmy Hart
*Hart joins him in the press booth.
*Paul says it's time for his LOD to be World Tag Team Champions. He challenges Harts team of Beefcake and Valentine for the belts.
*Jimmy Hart is speechless for once and just leaves without saying anything.

*Trish Status of WOW joins Lance Russell in the press booth for the next match.

7.) WOW World Championship: Mildred Burke** vs. Fabulous Moolah******* 1 fall 60min
*Mildred Burke wins by referee stoppage at 14:48
*The referee stops the match after Moolah passes out in the alligator clutch
*Trish Status comes to the ring and challenges Burke again for the title.
*Burke accepts the challenge. She then says their match will take place next month 4/22/01 in Madison, WI at the first WOW event "Stand Alone"
*The two women stand in the center of the ring together for a photo.

*Before the next match CWF official tell Bobby Heenan that he is not allowed at ringside for the International title match.
*Bobby is angry and says he is going to sue CWF for this.

8.) International Championship: Nick Bockwinkel* vs. Mil Mascaras 1 fall 60min
*Mil Mascaras wins by pin at 1:51 with a flying body press to become the new International Champion
*Nick is stunned by the outcome of the match and protest the finish saying without Heenan he wasn't able to wrestle normal
*Bobby Heenan and Ray Stevens run to the ring and they both give the referee and CWF officials who come to the ring an ear full.
*Mil Mascaras takes the belt and leave though the crowd
*Bobby Heenan after the match quickly files for Bockwinkel's rematch. The rematch will take place 4/30/01 when CWF goes to Minneapolis at Saturday Night Wrestling 15.

Albuquerque, NM 4/2/01

*Lance Russell opens the show by giving the fans in Albuquerque a rundown of the action. He tells them the main event will be World Champion Frank Gotch teaming up with International Champion Mil Mascaras and The Destroyer to face Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel and United States Champion Ray Stevens. Plus, in a match of two men who hate each other Jimmy Snuka will meet Buddy Rogers. That and more let's get to the ring.

1.) Thunderbolt Patterson vs. Frogman Leblanc 1 fall 20min
*Thunderbolt Patterson wins by pin at 0:57 with head butt
*Patterson joins Russell in the press booth. Patterson calls out U.S champion Ray Stevens saying he wants a shot at his belt.
*Stevens comes out and gets in Patterson's face. Stevens then tells Patterson he isn't worth it and turns to leave but quickly turn back and hit Patterson with the U.S title. Steven than pick Patterson up to pile drive him on the press booth floor.
*Bobo Brazil comes running out of the locker to make the save before Patterson can be hurt. Bobo runs off Stevens.

2.) Bobo Brazil vs. Agent Dick J. Lahart 1 fall 20min
*Bobo Brazil wins by count at 2:13
*The match ends after Lahart walks off and no longer wants to fight
*Bobo goes to the press booth and cuts a promo on how much he would love to see Thunderbolt Patterson take the U.S title from Ray Stevens.

3.) Red Bastien vs. Rob Van Dam with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall 20min
*Red Bastien wins by pin at 0:09 with atomic drop
*RVD tried jumping Red before the opening bell but Red got the upper hand and a quick win.
*After the match Sabu rushes the ring to attack Red. But Red gets out of the ring and quickly goes to the locker room.

4.) Tommy Rich** vs. Steve Corino** 1 fall 20min
*Tommy Rich wins by DQ at 5:02
*The match ends after Corino hits with a microphone while they are outside the ring.
*Corino quickly leaves after the match.
*A fired up and bleeding Tommy Rich goes to the press booth. He says he wants a rematch ASAP.
*Thunderbolt Patterson comes out and tells Tommy that he has a contract for a tag match next week to face Ray Stevens and some else. He says if Tommy signs to be his partner he will get CWF officials to put Corino's name on the contract as Steven's partner. Tommy agrees and signs the contract.

*Sandman enters the press booth as Rich and Patterson are leaving. Sandman talks to Russell about his upcoming match with The Sheik in Chicago on 4/16. Sandman says one of them won't walk out that night.
*Russell reminds fans the Sandman will face The Sheik in a barbed wire glass death match.

5.) King Kong Buddy* vs. Killer Kowalski** with Abdullah Farouk 1 fall 30min
*Killer Kowalski wins by tap out at 13:50 with Kowalski claw
*Farouk and Kowalski go to the press booth. Farouk says Kowalski is done with Buddy. And, it time to get after gold.

6.) Jimmy Snuka** vs. Buddy Rogers with Socal Val 1 fall 30min
*Buddy Rogers wins by tap out at 1:38 with figure four grapevine
*Rogers jumps Snuka before the match and with the help of Socal they beat Snuka down. But Snuka wants to have the match.
*After the match Rogers won't let go of the figure four grapevine.
*For a second time tonight, Bobo Brazil runs to the ring to make the save
*An angry Socal grabs a mic and tells Bobo he should have minded his own business.

7.) Mike Dibiase* & Ted Dibiase vs. Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito 1 fall 30min
*Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito win by tap out at 0:50 after Saito makes Mike tap with scorpion leglock
*Ted is stunned, and he watches Fuji and Saito mock Mike and himself.

8.) Frank Gotch, Mil Mascaras*, The Destroyer vs. Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens with Bobby Heenan 1 fall 60min
*Harly Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens wins by pin at 2:18 after Race pins Mascaras with Back Suplex
*Race cuts a promo after the match telling Gotch that they will meet again.
*Bockwinkel takes the mic and tells Mascaras that he will be taking back his title very soon
*Stevens then takes the mic and be little Thunderbolt Patterson
*The show end with Bobby Heenan putting over his group as the top group in all of pro wrestling.

*CWF official put Harly Race on International contenders list for pinning Mil Mascaras.
