Great episode, loved the Goat story. Highlight for me despite was ROCKY KERNODLE!! Got a chance to close down the bar with him with a bunch of FG guys on Thursday night of HOF last year. Great guy!! Chad's LOUD defiance of Mike M. was pretty classic.

Goat to the balls needs to be on the Chad Olson announcer card, even if that means delaying the release!!!!

Enjoyable show as usual. The recordings of the brain storming sessions for the new cards are always a highlight for me. I'm fascinated by the thought process others have for card creation and how it differs or is the same as what I'd do. For the most part when I do a card I avoid unnecessary holds, especially on level 2, because I like the action packed bell to bell fights. Some people just want the "top 15 moves of" version whether the card flows or not. Tim's ideas about Inoki's offense were really spot on. Certain cards you could do a dozen ways and be "right", like how all 300 or however many there have been, Bryan Danielson cards are all different but all accurate in their own way. Then there's a guy like Mark Henry where you can argue stuff like pin and defense but that moveset is pretty straight forward. That's a real fun looking card to play (and I will once I get the physical card in hand, because I don't mix online with cards and dice and of course not being at G-Con means I don't have the physical card yet).
All in all, these Hall Of Fame sets have been the best thing released on the legends side three years in a row. How can you pick a favorite? I know I can't It's all down to personal preference.

Good episode! Although after listening to the opening, well, to paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of my demise are greatly exaggerrated. Happy to be back folks!

Although I got to listen to little of this episode last Sunday while malicelover and his wife drove me from Galactcion in Chicago to Milwaukee, today I finally got a chance to finish this episode. I don't know for sure who Dan Spivey replaced in this set, but I do have an educated guess. I agree that Mark Henry turned out great. Sgt. Slaughter was indeed using a knuckle sandwich as his finisher early in his turn as an Iraqi sympathizer (he used it for example to put away Koko B. Ware on Saturday Night's Main Event) before switching to the camel clutch as his finisher under that persona. Speaking of Sgt. Slaughter, Chad Olson, you said you are looking forward to using Sgt Slaughter. Does this mean you going back to playing your LOW fed again? That would be awesome! Another great episode, now I need to listen to the episode about the Impact Pro set.

I was so mad that Sarge wasn't using the Cobra Clutch. Knowing how WWF/E has often been protective of wrestlers not using the same finisher at a time, I'm wondering if they changed it since Ted DiBiase was using the Million Dollar Dream. Speaking of Sgt. Slaughter, Chad Olson, you said you are looking forward to using Sgt Slaughter. Does this mean you going back to playing your LOW fed again? That would be awesome! Well played, Zeke!
