Impact Wrestling PPV # 08
February 23rd, Year 1*Commentators - Gordon Solie and D Lo Brown*- The show opens with a huge pyro display and the opening video for Impact Wrestling. The shot then goes to ringside where we see our commentators. They run down the card.
- The shot then goes to the underground parking lot where we see an official with a bloody nose. He says he didn’t see his attacker.
- The shot then goes to Barry Horowitz. He says he paid off all his bills and knows what he is going to do with the rest of the dough. The shot then goes to ringside.
- We then go to
Sinister Minister with his group in an empty parking lot. They are all walking side by side as
Sinister Minister speaks. He says he’s confident that Kane will beat Austin Idol and that Raven will beat Dynamite Kid!
Sinister Minister then lights a garbage can on fire and starts to cackle.
Match # 01 - Masha Slamovich beat Jazzy Gabert in a Womens Championship tournament match at 1:38 with a cross body block and pin to advance to the next round.Fatigue - Jazzy Gabert = 2
- They show a graphic to send cards and well wishes to Disco Inferno. They show his girlfriend who says she wants to thank all the people who have reached out as this has really lifted Disco’s spirits.
- We then go backstage where we see Austin Idol with Shelly Martinez. She says that he has a match against Kane. Idol says that he is going to beat Kane and send him packing. He also says Shelly is looking great. She smiles and Idol continues on saying that he will be champion soon!
Match # 02 - Kane beat Austin Idol at 1:02 by count out!- The shot then goes backstage where we see Chris Jericho with Shelly Martinez. He says that he is still upset for losing against Barry Horowitz last week and losing all that money. He says he’s going to beat Rob Van Dam! He then say Shelly Martinez is looking great. She blushes and he walks off camera. Jericho then looks at the camera and says he hasn’t forgotten about Barry Horowitz. He will get him when he least expects it!
Match # 03 - Chris Jericho beat Rob Van Dam at 1:07 with a Walls of Jericho!Fatigue - Rob Van Dam = 1
- After the bell Chris Jericho held onto the Walls of Jericho and officials had to come in to get him to break it. He then grabbed a steel chair and smashed it in Rob Van Dam’s knee. Jericho was ordered to the back or he would face a fine and suspension.
- We see a graphic with The Sheik on it. It says that he is returning to Impact Wrestling next week.
- They show The Killer Bees backstage. They say they are going to destroy The Fabulous Ones!
Match # 04 - Fabulous Ones beat Killer Bees in a Tag Team championship tournament match when Steve Keirn pinned Jim Brunzell to advance to the next round in the tournament. - The shot then goes to Christopher Daniels who is sitting in his office on his laptop. He sees that there is a camera on him and he begins to talk. He says that they are close to finding out who is attacking federation officials. He says when he finds out who it is, he’s going to make them pay severely.
- We then go to Buddy Rogers who says he doesn’t care who he has to face between Raven and Dynamite Kid. He will retain his heavyweight championship!
Match # 05 - Dynamite Kid pinned Raven in a Heavyweight championship contenders match at 3:13.Fatigue - Raven = 2
- We then see a graphic with a pink heart on it. Under it says “Six Weeks!”
- The shot then goes to the commentators who say that next week is going to be another big show. They say we are going to see the return of The Sheik, matches for both the Tag Team and Womens championships, a Impact Wrestling Heavyweight championship match and a lot more. We then go to the ring for our main event of the show!
Match # 06 - Kurt Angle defeated Jerry Lynn to retain the Impact Wrestling North American Championship with an Ankle Lock.Fatigue - Jerry Lynn = 4
- The show goes off the air with Kurt Angle celebrating his victory.
