IMPACT PRO WRESTLINGIPW All Is Fair '21 Tour2021.Jun.27 Linn County Fairgrounds, Central City, IA Commentary: Captain Midnight & David ChariniRing Announcer: Chad Olson Referees: Brent Filmore, Christian Hansen & Joey JojoPART ONESWOGGLE, JUSTIN DECENT & THE DEATH DEALER def. Christina Von Eerie, Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend. **1/2- Decent pinned Thornstowe after a corner clothesline. -- Tokens: Swoggle 5, Decent 1, Dealer 1 - Thornstowe 1, Luster 2 - The hostility between Reno Scum and the IPW Unified Tag Team Champions continued to escalate as both sides of this feud brought new blood into the mix. The highlight of the match was CVE going move for move with Swoggle until she landed a fierce combination to gain the advantage. Swoggle caught a lucky break when CVE whipped him into the ropes and dropped her head for a back drop. He executed a perfect somersault over CVE's back and into his own corner to make a hot tag. At this point, things threatened to spiral completely out of control, but the referee maintained order just long enough to reach a decision. ISAIAS VELAZQUEZ def. Chuck Taylor. ***- Velazquez pinned Taylor after a HAMMER OF DAWN. -- Tokens: Velazquez 2 - Taylor 2 - This was Taylor's chance for payback for Velazquez getting involved in his recent encounter with Stevie Fierce while simultaneously taking another step towards a match against the IPW Unified Heavyweight Champion. Unfortunately, Velazquez clearly had other plans as Taylor was sent packing with a disappointing loss. BLAKE CHRISTIAN def. Matty Star (w/ Sparrow) via DQ. ***- Star was disqualified due to outside interference. -- Tokens: Christian 1 - Star 2 - Despite some initial reluctance, Star was able to talk the referee into permitting Sparrow to remain in his corner. Christian did not bother to protest even though his own ally, Alex Zayne, was not present. He did not want Star to have any excuses at the conclusion of this match. - Each man took their time sizing up the other, but once they got warmed up, the contest intantly shifted into high gear with a series of rapid fire moves and slick reversals. Christian gradually took over, hitting a HEART BLAKE DDT followed by an ELIA. Before the referee could count the fall, Sparrow pulled him out of the ring. Not satisfied with the technical decision, Christian wanted the match to continue. Star & Sparrow responded by coming at Christian from opposite directions. Before things could escalate, Zayne rushed the ring to stand beside his partner. The two teams engaged in a standoff while security was summoned to prevent a brawl. It was apparent that Zayne & Christian were on a collision course with the Legend Killers that could not be stopped. WES BRISCO def. Brian Pillman Jr, Louis Lyndon, Matt Cross, Andy Dalton and Ugly in a Six-Pack Elimination Challenge. ***1/2- Order of elimination: 1. Ugly (3 tokens) tapped out by Lyndon with a DRAGON SLEEPER. - Eager to prove a point following the double disqualification that occurred during their previous enounter, Lyndon wasted no time targeting Ugly in this contest. 2. Dalton (6 tokens) pinned by Cross after a DEATH FROM ABOVE. 3. Cross (3 tokens) pinned by Pillman after a DIRE PROMISE. 4. Lyndon (n/a tokens) pinned by Pillman after a DIRE PROMISE. 5. Pillman (3 tokens) tapped out by Brisco (3 tokens) with a figure four leglock. - When the dust of this chaotic affair finally settled, it seemed fitting that Brisco and Pillman were the last two men standing. Pillman stared at his former friend with wild eyes and stated that he was not going to stand in the shadow of Brisco's legacy when he had his own to follow. He dared his new rival to bring his best and Brisco was happy to oblige. - Dalton cut a promo after the bell, firing insults at Cross and his acrobatic style. He said that he wanted a chance to teach Cross how things were done in the Dirty South when IPW made their next stop on the All Is Fair '21 Tour at the Marion County Fair. Even though he obviously had his title match against The Big Picture (scheduled for INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS) on his mind, Cross returned to accept the challenge! LOGAN BLACK def. Suge D. **- Black tapped out Suge with a crossface. -- Tokens: Black 1 - Suge 3 - This match was the result of a post-match challenge issued by Black during a recent episode of IPW ReBorn. Following a hard fought victory, Black indicated that his next stop was going to be the IPW Badlands Hardcore Championship which Malice (who actually eliminated Black from the Badlands Bedlam Brawl at ABSOLUTE ZERO) was scheduled to defend the title later on the card against Sick Nick Mondo! * INTERMISSION - Stay tuned for Part Two!

IMPACT PRO WRESTLINGIPW All Is Fair '21 Tour2021.Jun.27 Linn County Fairgrounds, Central City, IA Commentary: Captain Midnight & David ChariniRing Announcer: Chad Olson Referees: Brent Filmore, Christian Hansen & Joey JojoPART TWOJAMES JEFFRIES def. Lee Moriarty. *- Jeffries pinned Moriarty after a SLICED BREAD #2. -- Tokens: Moriarty 1 - Moriarty displayed great sportsmanship, shaking hands with Jeffries following this relatively brief encounter. This was a welcome change of pace for Jeffries, who had been locked in an intense feud with Curt Stallion and still had not scored a victory over his rival. - Jeffries cut a promo after the bell, offering his appreciation to the fans that supported him through every success and failure. Knowing that Stallion was not in attendance, Jeffries did not bother calling him out. However, he was certain their paths would cross again. In the meantime, Jeffries wanted to acknowledge the ability of the man that he had just defeated by suggesting that he and Moriarty team up to face the Legend Killers at INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS! MALICE def. Sick Nick Mondo to retain the IPW Badlands Hardcore Championship. ***1/2- Malice pinned Mondo after a SPEAR. -- Tokens: Malice 5 - Mondo 1 - This was a successful version two title defense for the champion. - Relying on evasive maneuvers, Mondo avoided getting trapped by Malice while effectively wearing him down. A slingshot blue thunder driver onto a steel chair busted Malice wide open, allowing Mondo to start taking a more direct approach. Mondo was on the verge of claiming the title, but an unsolicited assist by Logan Black turned the tide. Without knowing that he had received help, Malice mounted a monster comeback. - While Malice was still trying to fully regain his senses, Black jumped Mondo after the bell. Determined that he would be the one to take the title from Malice, he blasted Mondo with repeated chairshots to the skull. Retrieving a steel chain from beneath the ring and wrapping it around his fist, Malice chased off Black before any serious harm was done. Mondo stood without help and dared Black to meet him face-to-face in an Iowa Deathmatch at INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS! BROOKE VALENTINE & MARTI BELLE def. Angelus Layne & Shayna Baszler. *1/2- Belle pinned Baszler after a HELL'S BELLS. -- Tokens: Belle 1 - Since she was next in line to challenge for the IPW Ladies Grand Prix Championship, Layne tried to gain some future leverage by trying to cripple Valentine before the match had officially started. Her plan backfired when Valentine saw her coming and slammed her onto a ringside table. Tearing into each other with the same reckless abandon, Belle and Baszler actually made it into the ring. It was Belle that came out on top. - Baszler cut a promo after the bell and quickly became frustrated with the derisive comments from the crowd. She grabbed someone in the front row in a threatening manner, prompting Belle to return and resume their fight. Security was needed to pull the two women apart. THE BIG PICTURE def. Austin Aries. ***- Picture pinned Aries after A THOUSAND WORDS. -- Tokens: Picture 2 - Aries 2 - This non-title encounter was a rematch from the semifinals of the IPW Unified Heavyweight Championship tournament that took place at ABSOLUTE ZERO. Picture tackled Aries the instant he stepped onto the runway... No time for introductions. <Picture started on Level 2 Offense.> - Aries landed a 450 SPLASH (+2), but Picture kicked out by launching him into the air and this act of defiance seemed to knock the wind out of his sails. Sensing that Aries had run out options, Picture moved in for the kill. FRED YEHI def. AJ Smooth in an 'I Quit' match. ****1/2- Yehi finished Smooth with a KOJI CLUTCH. -- Tokens: Yehi 6 - Smooth 8 - Both men were bloody and near the point of collapse by the time this grueling affair reached its conclusion. Smooth refused to verbally surrender regardless of the pain, prompting Chuck Taylor to casually march towards the ring and threw in the towel on his behalf. Realizing that Smooth was not going to break the hold, the referee called for the bell. - Believing he was owed some kind of favor and still looking for a way to fast track himself to the top of the rankings, Taylor demanded a match against Yehi. As soon as he regained his senses, Yehi agreed to face Taylor at INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS!

Smooth nearly pulled that one out. Go Picture. Either man really could have won the main event as both hit the token target to start rolling on the I Quit chart... Yehi's two finishers really made the difference... And meanwhile, Picture continues to kill the competition... Beating Austin Aries (hometown advantage or not) is no minor feat. Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!

Got everything I wanted from that 'I Quit' main event between Smooth and Yehi... And more! Definitely one of my favorite specialty matches... Jeffries vs. Moriarty on the other hand was kinda disappointing... Fortunately, the good guy attitude of Jeffries saved the day with his post-match suggestion for a Marvel teamup. BOOM! Absolutely appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!
