If you ever make it to Waterloo to visit the Dan Gable Museum and Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame, you'll have to go to SingleSpeed Brewery, one short block from the museum. Every pint of their Gable beer earns the museum $1. You're not just drinking, you're fundraising!

Oh yes, I've been to the Toppling Goliath Brewery in Decorah, Iowa. Great facility and food. They tend to make a lot of IPAs, which turn me off, but the non-IPAs I've had there were tasty. They're famous for their "Pseudo Sue", which is their flagship IPA. I'm partial to lagers... My favorites being Rolling Rock, Corona Extra and Black Horse (which is brewed in Newfoundland), so I figure I would probably like the Dorothy's New World lager... Sounds like I will definitely have to visit if I can make it out to Iowa someday. Fingers crossed! For a little more background on Toppling Goliath, they sell that up here in Minnesota too. I don't mind IPAs but Goliath's get a little repetitive. Nothing bad about them but nothing that makes them stand out. Plus, in my opinion, they tend to be expensive. Just my two cents!

We've got a number of local breweries here in Halifax and some of them are a little heavy handed with the IPAs as well... Your two cents are always welcome here, my friend... Cheers!

Balespin (KC Spinelli & Xandra Bale). squash- Holidead pinned Spinelli after an Unprettier. -- Tokens: n/a - The Sisterz cut a promo after the bell to make it clear that their goal was to become the next IPW Ladies Tag Team Champions. They were interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz, who regarded the Sisterz with contempt. The newcomers proclaimed that Fire N' Flava had the exact same goal. A brief staredown quickly escalated into a wild brawl and security was needed to pull the two teams apart! EFFY def. Madman Fulton. ***- Effy tapped out Fulton with a DRAG QUEEN SLEEPER. -- Tokens: Effy 2 - Fulton 4 - Both men fought hard during this back and forth exchange. Just as Fulton was starting to gain serious momentum, Effy stopped him cold with a low blow that went unseen by the referee. SAMMY GUEVARA def. Orange Cassidy. ***1/2- Guevara pinned Cassidy after a back of head superkick. -- Tokens: Guevara 2 - Cassidy 6 - Things were really heating up between these two dynamic competitors when Cassidy suddenly started to doze off in the middle of the ring. Before Cassidy was fully awake, Guevara capitalized on the opportunity. - Cassidy cut a promo after the bell and confronted Danhausen for disturbing his nap. While Danhausen tried to apologize, Guevara taunted the pair with some insulting remarks. Nice wins for Twisted Sisterz and Effy. Not gonna lie... I was kinda hoping that Balespin could pull out another victory, so I could justify giving them a shot at the ladies tag belts... Just wasn't meant to be... Fortunately, the post-match shenanigans sets up a program between the Sisterz and F N' F which should be fun... Meanwhile, I guess I'll just give the former champs, Grace & Lufisto, an immediate rematch and see where that goes. Always enjoy the input, my friend... Many thanks!

Darby Allin. **- Pillman pinned Allin after a German suplex. -- Tokens: Pillman 1 - Allin 1 - Pillman cut a promo before the opening bell to confirm that he remained a dedicated member of the House of Truth, but understood that there were other matters that required his manager's attention. With his attention fully focused on his opponent, Allin marched towards the ring. Su Yung ambushed Allin, spraying him with blood red mist. Taking over the assault, Pillman smashed Allin into the rails before dumping him in the ring. <Allin added 1 token and Pillman started on Level 3 Offense.> - Recovering from the prematch sneak attack, Allin started to mount a comeback until Yung intervened again. Allin was nearly counted out while confronting Yung out on the floor and Pillman used the opening to regain the upper hand. DARK SHEIK & EDITH SURREAL def. Team PAWG (Jordynne Grace & Lufisto w/ Truth Martini) to win the IPW Ladies Tag Team Championship. ***1/2- Sheik pinned Lufisto after a WELCOME TO DIE! -- Tokens: Sheik 4, Surreal 1 - Lufisto 3 - Displaying pride and perseverance, Sheik & Surreal defied the odds. - Team PAWG cut a promo after the bell and when Martini tried to add his voice to the mix, he was promptly pushed away. Lee nearly scored the win, but Effy showed up to help Warner turn the tide. Shane Strickland rushed the ring to level the playing field and while the referee was reprimanding the intruders, Warner leveled Lee with a chairshot from behind. VON ERICHS (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) def. Legend Killers (Matty Star & Sparrow) via DQ. dud- Star was disqualified <out of the ring> during a brawl with Marshall. - The Legend Killers cut a promo before the opening bell to declare that it was their mission to prevent the Von Erichs from ever becoming the IPW Unified Tag Team Champions again! - Instead of trying to emerge victorious, the Legend Killers became obsessed with causing as much harm as possible. Star cracked a broom handle across Marshall's back and even though it was not witnessed by the referee, El Generico rushed the ring to point out what had taken place. Spotting the broken weapon next to Marshall's crumpled form, the referee awarded a technical decision to the Von Erichs! CHRIS MASTERS (w/ Veda Scott) def. The Death Dealer, Wes Brisco and The Big Picture in a Fatal Four Scramble. *1/2- Masters tapped out Dealer with a MASTERLOCK. -- Tokens: Dealer 3 - Brisco and Picture were locked in a vicious struggle out on the floor when Masters stunned Dealer with a powerful clothesline off the ropes. Justin Decent to retain the IPW Unified Heavyweight Championship. ***1/2- Deppen pinned Decent after a RUNNING KNEE STRIKE. -- Tokens: Deppen 4 - Decent 3 - This was a successful version one title defense. - Decent cut a promo before the opening bell to let the fans know that he appreciated their constant support and was pleased to receive this opportunity as a result of winning the Celebration Gauntlet at the beginning of the month. An attempted sneak attack by Lee Moriarty backfired as Decent saw him coming and moved out of the way! Moriarty accidentally nailed Deppen with a set of brass knuckles, leaving the champion in a vulnerable state. <Deppen added 1 token and Decent started on Level 3 Offense.> - Taking full advantage of the situation, Decent hammered Deppen with everything in his potent arsenal. Only a perfectly timed assist by Moriarty saved Deppen from near certain defeat. Decent turned his back on Deppen in order to get his hands on Moriarty. It was a critical mistake that wound up costing him the match and his chance to finally claim the title.
