Very cool that Backlund retained... It's always fun when a champion can build a respectable reign, elevating the prestige of the title. Speaking of which, something just hit me... You're running this fed with only two titles... That is an exceptional display of restraint, my friend... Do you have your histories compiled and posted? Secondary titles seem like a second place trophy to me so I try to steer clear. I don't have my histories in the history folder. I have all the # of defenses per reign in a google sheet so I can refer back to it but I don't keep track of who they beat beyond what's in my results.

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.34 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Roddy Piper vs. Big John Studd. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. The Briscos vs. The Long Riders Jack Brisco and Hog Irwin start the match. Brisco and Irwin battle back and forth. Brisco hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four but Hog fights his way to the ropes. Brisco locks on a second figure four but Irwin rolls over, forcing him to break the hold. Jack tags in Jerry. Hog makes a comeback and nails Jerry with a suplex for a two count. Hog tags in Wild Bill. Bill and Jerry battle outside the ring. Bill grabs the bull whip but Jerry takes it from him and whips the crap out of him. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners - The Long Riders by DQ
Ventura says he likes the fire from Jerry Brisco but it doesn’t win matches. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Iron Sheik vs. Mr X Iron Sheik clotheslines Mr X to the mat and nails him with the loaded boot. Sheik covers Mr X but can’t get the three count. Sheik shows off some suplex and nails X with the loaded boot a second time. The Iron Sheik locks on the Camel Clutch and Mr X quickly taps out.
Winner - The Iron Sheik by submission
Ventura says the Iron Sheik is impressive. Gordon Solie says they got word from the back and the Briscos will take on The Long Riders in a bull whip match in two weeks. Gordon heads to the ring to get a word with Tiger Conway Jr. Tiger says he’s back and badder than ever. David Taylor tries attacking Tiger from behind with the pole from his British flag but Tiger takes it from him and nails him with it. Tiger throws Taylor into the ring and Gordon scrambles for cover.
3. Tiger Conway Jr vs. David Taylor Conway nails Taylor with the flying head butt and covers him for the quick three count.
Winner - Tiger Conway Jr by pinfall
Solie says Taylor brought it on himself. Venture introduces the next match.
4. Rose & Somers vs. The Mulkeys Buddy Rose and Bill Mulkey start the match. Bill gets some offense in to the surprise of everyone, Bill included. Rose turns things around and hits a jumping back elbow for the win.
Winners - Rose and Somers by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Ray Stevens before the next match. Stevens says Red Pepper doesn’t stand a chance against the Blond Bombers and takes his corner.
5. Pepper Gomez vs. Ray Stevens Stevens gets the early advantage but Gomez nails him with a wind up punch to the stomach to turn things around. Gomez hoists Stevens up in the airplane spin but Stevens won’t submit. Gomez fakes setting Stevens down and whirls him around in the airplane spin again, wearing him down. Gomez locks on the Stomach Claw and Stevens taps out.
Winner - Pepper Gomez by submission
Ventura says the champs don’t have a lot of momentum going into next week’s title match. Gordon introduces the main event.
6. Roddy Piper vs. Big John Studd Studd overpowers Piper in the early minutes but Piper shuts him down and hits a bulldog for a two count. Piper locks on the sleeper but Studd is too close the ropes and forces the rope break. Piper hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Piper hits another neckbreaker but Studd gets his foot on the ropes. Studd makes a comeback but Piper pokes him in the eye and hits a knee lift for a two count. Piper locks on the sleeper and Studd submits.
Winner - Roddy Piper by submission
Piper gets on the mic after the match and challenges the winner of Bob Backlund vs. Austin Idol to a match for the LWF World Heavyweight championship! Ventura and Solie are blown away by Piper’s challenge and tell the fans to tune in next week when The Blond Bombers defend the gold against Red Pepper!

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.35 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of The Blond Bombers vs. Red Pepper with the World Tag Team titles on the line!. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Garea & Zbyszko vs. Lyons & Destroyer Zbsyzko and the Destroyer start the match. Zbsyzko gets the upper hand and hits the vertical suplex for a two count. Zbsyzko hits a second vertical suplex and he and Garea hit the Facelock-Sunset Flip for the win.
Winners - Garea & Zbsyzko by pinfall
Zbsyzko gets on the mic after the match and says they’ve been passed over for title shots for two long. He challenges the winners of tonight’s main event to a match for the LWF World Tag Team titles!
Ventura says Zbyszko might be biting off more than he can chew. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Iron Sheik vs. Brian Blair The Iron Sheik takes control early on and suplexes Blair all over the ring. The Iron Sheik locks on the Camel Clutch but Blair fights his way to the ropes. Iron Sheik wears Blair down with the Camel Rider and hits the loaded boot. SHeik covers Blair for the three count.
Winner - Iron Sheik by pinfall
Gordon leaves the booth to get a word with the Iron Sheik. The Iron Sheik says he’s coming for Bob Backlund soon and will take the LWF World Heavyweight title and make him humble. The show goes to commercial as the Sheik launches a stream of profanities. When it returns, Gordon is standing by with Randy Savage. Savage says it’s been a long time coming and he’s going to win the LWF World Heavyweight title as soon as the LWF stops being afraid to give him a title shot. Savage takes his corner and Gordon makes his way back to the booth.
3. Randy Savage vs. Jim Brunzell Brunzell gets in some offense but soon it’s all Savage. Savage hits the flying elbow smash but Brunzell gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Savage works Brunzell over and hits a knee drop for a two count. Brunzell makes a comeback and hits the high flying dropkick for the win!
WInner - Jim Brunzell by pinfall
Savage clobbers Brunzell from behind after the match and hits two flying elbows. He’s going for a third when Gorilla Monsoon pulls Jim Brunzell out of the ring. Savage slaps Monsoon in the face and Lord Zoltan, Monsoon’s opponent, attacks him from behind.
4. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Lord Zoltan Zoltan takes advantage and goes to work on Monsoon. Monsoon makes a comeback and locks on a bear hug. Zoltan escapes the hold. Monsoon locks on the bear hug a second time and Zoltan taps out.
Winner - Gorilla Monsoon by submission
Randy Savage returns to ringside and lays Gorilla out with a chair. The crowd pelts the Macho Man with trash as he makes his way to the back. Ventura says he’s impressed with the Macho Man and introduces the next match.
5. Harley Race vs. Angelo Mosca Mosca overpowers Race at the opening bell and dominates the first few minutes. Race turns things around and locks on the Indian Deathlock. Mosca is able to fight his way to the ropes. Race hits a piledriver for the win.
Winner - Harley Race by pinfall
Solie says Race continues climbing the ladder. Ventura introduces the main event.
6. The Blond Bombers vs. Red Pepper - LWF World Tag Team title match Patterson and Bastien start the match. Bastien gets some momentum going and Patterson rolls out of the ring to regroup. Bastien picks up where he left off and hits a crossbody from the top for a two count. Bastien tags in Gomez and the champs make a comeback. Patterson hits the Bombs Away on Gomez for the win.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by pinfall, their second title defense
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Bob Backlund defends the gold against Austin Idol in the main event!

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.36 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bob Backlund vs. Austin Idol for the LWF World Heavyweight title!. Ventura introduces the first match. It was also announced that the Blond Bombers will defend the LWF World Tag Team titles against the Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko in two weeks and Roddy Piper will get a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title next week!
1. The Fabulous Ones Vs. Rose & Somers Lane and Rose start the match. Lane and Keirn wear Rose down with quick tags. Rose tags in Somers. The Fabs wear Somers down with two double hamstring pulls and Keirn hits the shoulder breaker for the win.
Winners - The Fabulous Ones by pinfall
Ventura says the Fabulous Ones still haven’t impressed him. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Randy Savage Vs. Keith Steinborn Steinborn gets in some offense early on. Savage turns things around and hits a piledriver for a two count. Savage hits three neckbreaker clotheslines and nails Steinborn with a double axe handle for the win.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Savage. Savage says Gorilla Monsoon has stuck his nose in Savage’s business and now he’s going to pay. He challenges Gorilla Monsoon to a singles match. The show goes to commercial. When it returns, Solie is in the ring with Tiger Conway Jr. Conway says he has something to prove and he’ll beat Frank Gotch in the middle of the ring. Conway takes his corner and Gordon goes back to the booth.
3. Tiger Conway Jr Vs. Frank Gotch Tiger is able to hang with Gotch for a few minutes but Gotch turns things around and locks on the Gotch Toehold for the win.

Ventura says Frank Gotch hasn’t given up on being LWF World Heavyweight champion just yet. Solie introduces the next match.
4. Sgt Slaughter vs. David Taylor Taylor gives Slaughter some problems in the opening minutes. Slaughter turns things around and locks on the Cobra Clutch for the win.

Solie says Sgt Slaughter may have come up short in his LWF World Heavyweight title match but he’s still one of the top stars in the territory. Ventura introduces the next match.
5. Briscos vs. Long Riders - Bullwhip match Jerry and Hog fight over the whip at the opening bell. Hog ends up with the whip. Hog whips Brisco and nails him with a superplex. Hog covers Brisco but Jack and Wild Bill end up in the ring and a wild brawl erupts. The Briscos clean house. Jerry gets the whip and whips Hog bloody.Jerry tags in Jack. Jack wears Hog down with an airplane spin and takes his turn whipping Hog. Jack locks on the figure four and Jerry holds off Wild Bill. Hog submits.
Winners - The Briscos by submission
Solie says The Briscos are moving up the ranks. Ventura introduces the main event.
6. Bob Backlund Vs. Austin Idol - LWF World Heavyweight title match Backlund takes command early on and hits the rolling back bridge for a two count. Backlund hits a backbreaker and follows it up with an Atomic Drop for the win.

Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bob Backlund vs. Roddy Piper with the LWF World Heavyweight title on the line!. Ventura introduces the first match. Solie mentions that Mil Mascaras, star of The Mummy’s Heart, will be coming to the LWF from Mexico for a few appearances starting next week. Solie also reminds viewers that The Blond Bombers will be defending the gold against Garea & Zbyszko next week. 1. Lyons & Destroyer vs. The Moondogs
The Destroyer and Rex start the match. Rex works over the Destroyer but the Destroyer rolls him up after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Destroyer mauls Rex outside the ring and Rex is nearly counted out. Lyons locks on the figure four but Rex rolls him to the ropes. Rex and Lyons brawl outside the ring. Rex grabs his bone from ringside but Lyons takes it from him and drills him with it. The referee calls for the bell. Winners - The Moondogs by DQ
Solie says the two teams will lock up again soon. Ventura introduces the next match. 2. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Mr X
Mr X gets in some offense. Gorilla squashes him with a running tackle for the win. Winner - Gorilla Monsoon by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Gorilla. Gorilla says Randy Savage is a sore loser and he’ll fight him next week if Savage isn’t too busy crying somewhere. Solie heads back to the booth and the participants for the next match make their way down to the ring. 3. Big John Studd vs. TIger Conway Jr
Conway doesn’t back down and takes the fight to Studd. Conway hits a flying head butt for a two count. Studd turns things around and locks on a bear hug, wearing Conway down. Conway makes a comeback and whips Studd to the buckles. Studd crushes him with a lariat for a two count. Studd hoists Conway up in the Backbreaker but Conway escapes the hold. Studd gets him up in the backbreaker a second time and Conway submits. Winner - Big John Studd by submission
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Mad Dog Vachon, a wrestler who hasn’t appeared on Legacy of Gold in a few weeks. Mad Dog says he’s tired of being overlooked and will make an example out of Harley Race tonight. Solie leaves the ring as Race makes his way down to ringside. 4. Harley Race vs. Mad Dog Vachon
Vachon attacks Race before the bell. Harley turns things around and takes Vachon apart. Harley hits a vertical suplex for a two count. Mad Dog makes a comeback but Harley hits a sunset flip for a two count to turn things around. Mad Dog fights back and hits a knee lift for a two count and a Mad Dog Pounce. Harley battles back and hits another vertical suplex for a two count. Harley and Mad Dog battle back and forth. Mad Dog hits another knee lift for a two count. Mad Dog hits the Piledriver for the win! WInner - Mad Dog Vachon by pinfall
Ventura puts over Mad Dog Vachon. Solie says not to forget that Vachon has wins over LWF World Heavyweight champion Bob Backlund and Japanese legend Antonio Inoki. 5. The Briscos vs. Fuji & Saito
Jerry and Fuji start the match. Fuji and Saito isolate Jerry in their corner and wear him down. Jerry makes a comeback and hits the Oklahoma Roll on Saito for a two count. Jerry tags in Jack. Jack hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Jack locks on the figure four and Jerry holds off Fuji while Saito submits. Winners - The Briscos by submission
After the match, the Briscos challenge the winners of next week’s World Tag Team title match to a title shot. Solie says the Briscos will be a tough challenge for either team. Ventura introduces the main event. 6. Bob Backlund vs. Roddy Piper - LWF World Heavyweight title match
Backlund and Piper battle back and forth. Backlund frustrates Piper with his wrestling acumen. The match spills out of the ring and Piper hits Backlund with a steel chair. The referee calls for the bell to a round of boos. Winner - Bob Backlund by DQ, his ninth title defense. Backlund has passed Jack Brisco’s number of title defenses and is tied with Harley Race and Lou Thesz.
After the match, Austin Idol comes out of the crowd and attacks Piper from behind. Backlund tries helping Piper but The Iron Sheik comes out of the crowd and attacks Backlund! Backlund and Piper are at the mercy of the heels as the credits roll.
