Atherans have always prided themselves on being a waring race. As time has gone on they have learned there is a second war field. That is the courtroom. So, they opened a law school on Aethra so some Aethrans could learn how to fight their enemies in the courtroom. Of course, actual war is their main focus by a long, long way. Thus, the school is not the best but it has gotten a few Aethrans going into the field of law. The best of them is Lawyer Attorney At War.
Lawyer: Attorney At War
At an imposing 6'7" and weight over 300 lbs, wearing an expensive custom made light grey suit with black dress shirt, the sleeves torn off on both, and a purple silk tie that matches his purple mohawk he is an intimidating figure in the courtroom or in a back alley somewhere. Yet, he is the man you call when you have issues with someone, especially with your GM or Commissioner.
Did your GM/Commissioner deny you a title shot? Did they suspend and/or fine you for your innocent actions? Then you need Lawyer: Attorney At War. He went to the best Law School in the Universe, after graduating the one Law School on his home world of Aethra which is not much of a school, and passed every bar he has taken. So, he can practice law in all those places and thanks to being an Aethra he tends to be allowed to practice law in the other places as well.
So, if you get a decision from your GM/Commissioner that you do not agree with (via rolling on their chart) then call Lawyer: Attorney At War (and roll on the following charts)
Title Shot
4-6 Lawyer did it. Go up one on the GM/Commission chart.
2-3 Lawyer tried but the GM/Commissioner stood their ground.
1 It seems Lawyer pissed off the GM/Commissioner. Go down one of their chart.
Fine/Suspension
6 Lawyer is worth every penny. He not only got any suspension and/or fine waved but
the GM/Commissioner apologies to you on TV.
4-5 Lawyer is good at what he does. Go down on one on the GM/Commissioner chart.
2-3 Lawyer says he didn't get the suspension and/or waved but he will see the
GM/Commissioner later that night...maybe in an alley.
1 The GM/Commissioner did not appreciate Lawyer's attitude. Go one up on chart. If already at the top of chart, double it.
Example: You roll on Commissioner Euritar chart for Belt Decisions and roll 1-2 "The wrestler is denied the title shot and told to work his way up the rankings". So, you call in Lawyer and roll 5. Then it is like you rolled 3-4 "Euritar tells the wrestler to battle the #1 contender and the winner gets a title shot!" OR You roll for Suspension Decisions and roll 3 "Euritar puts his foot down and suspends the wrestler for 3 fight cards!" So, you call in Lawyer and roll 1. Then it is like you rolled 5-6 "Euritar makes an example out of the wrestler with a big 5 card suspension plus a hefty fine!"
Optional: If rolling on a Monday, real or game time, subtract 1 from roll but no lower than 1. If rolling on a Friday, real or game time, add 1 to roll but no higher than 6.
Also, occasionally Lawyer might accompany the wrestler to the ring. Especially after winning his client a title shot or #1 contender match to make sure he is treated fair. He has a distraction rating of 7 due to not only his intimidating size but distracting the ref with his legal speak.
